An Inquisitor had successfully stopped an emergent strain of exceptionally dangerous Tyranids in their tracks; she relocated them to a backwater facility to study them and prevent further mutations. Weeks later, the local PDF report strange alien figures and distant apparitions, people and equipment disappearing without a trace. Knowing these are the telltale signs of Eldar presence, she rallies them for battle.
The Eldar assault the fortress laboratory, seemingly attempting to destroy it utterly and the valuable specimens within. But when the Inquisitor frees the Tyranid horde, the enigmatic xenos find themselves in a fight for their lives!

I think Asmondeus was absolutely right about the Eldar's lack of AV options, especially late game. Tanks factions like IG had seen tons of buff over the year with the introduction of super heavy like Stormlord that can effectively counter Eldar late game melee (not to mention Psyker which can also mess Seers up a lot), they are also getting a lot stronger in the early game with the ability to sweap between flamer and plasma, allowing for some very effective power bash.
Eldar is not supposed to be that powerful in Tier 3 but I think they just need a buff. The state they are in right now is just too bad especially when facing with tank train. And while they are at it, may be it's time to finally give us back the Dire Avengers. Maybe as Kharskin-like late infantry that can fight all units with their ability.

don't judge a faction's strenght based on a game where it's 1 army roster vs 2 army rosters, teams with different races have a huge advantage, especially in the late game strength

you are great at your job man. these games are so crazy anybody will miss half of the stuff. units in my games bug do things they arent supposed to do later i watch replay im like wwtf how this happened i klicked them to cap that node?! o.O

Can you really complain about Eldar AV when you don't use Fire Dragons or even an Autarch with her upgrade?

Fire Dragon has very short range, they will be torn to shread approaching blobs like that. Autarch is also basically has zero HP. They are not an effective late game options against massive tank trains like we've seen from IG and Tyrannid.

@@e21big Sure, if you just face tank the ranged blob. But Eldar are about fast strikes in and out. Quick flanks. Stealth cover for approaches. Etc.

@@katherinemlorelei That just means that Eldar are strictly worse in that respect than other factions that have av options with long range and with staying power.
