The 20s. The time when hackers designed malwares just to troll other people in the internet. Kids this days are all with ramsomware or Spyware. I miss the old days when getting a computer virus was synonymous with seeing an animation or some weird glitch before your computer shutted down.
I mean, it was pretty easy to tell the fake files from the good ones just by name alone. Some had like 20 copies all spelled exactly the same, mistakes and all, and were the exact same size in MB, usually a strangely low number for song or movie.
If anything this lawsuit just proves that our legal system is absurd. I mean how do you even fine something so high and how do you come up with any number like that.
It’s not really $72 trillion dollars. He said $150000 per song and 11,000 songs were copyrighted. That’s $1.6B. Other than the $2 Undecillion lawsuit the most expensive lawsuit I can think of is the internet archive being sued on 1.4 million acts of copyright for $150,000 per violation which totals out to $200 billion or more.
Without Napster would we have Spotify…. 🤔 probably not… If memory serves me correctly the CEO’s of Nokia and HP both said the smart phone 📱 as we know it in 2008 (the original iPhone) would exist until 2018 at the earliest, thanks to Steve Jobs and the engineers whom built that first ‘hooky’ iPhone, they built it and now in 2021 we await the iPhone 13 which rumours say will have satellite 🛰 capability….😁 change never happens from those whom benefit from the current, we need the Mavericks

I mean it cant be that bad. For every free song downloaded, limewire managed to increase computer says just as equallly. 1 song, 1 destroyed computer, 1 new computer bought. They were helping the computer industry to grow.

i actually never used limewire , i had frostwire but from what i can gather the experience is pretty similar. low quality music and viruses,all 4 free
