Narrated Az-Zuhri that he visited Anas bin Malik at Damascus and found him weeping and asked him why he was weeping. He replied, "I do not know anything which I used to know during the life-time of Allah's Apostle except this prayer which is being lost (not offered as it should be)."
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ وَاصِلٍ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ، أَخِي عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ بِدِمَشْقَ وَهُوَ يَبْكِي فَقُلْتُ مَا يُبْكِيكَ فَقَالَ لاَ أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا مِمَّا أَدْرَكْتُ إِلاَّ هَذِهِ الصَّلاَةَ، وَهَذِهِ الصَّلاَةُ قَدْ ضُيِّعَتْ. وَقَالَ بَكْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْسَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ نَحْوَهُ.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you something by which Allah erases sins and elevates ranks (in Paradise)?" The Companions said: "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Performing the ablution properly even in difficulty, increasing attendance of prayer in the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after observing one prayer; and this is jihad.Sahih/Authentic. - [Muslim]
A lunisolar calendar makes more sense for the daily life and to be more aware of the truth of Allahs creation (science). Without such calendar you can not prosper (farm). I don’t understand why Muslims still fall for this fiction, while the Quran warns for this Hadith preachers.

If we strive to achieve the achievements of the mahdi , make our goals to create an ummah who will have iman to actually respond to the mahdi in that time.

Narrated Anas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whenever anyone of you offers his prayer he is speaking in private to his Lord. So he should not spit to his right but under his left foot." Qatada said, "He should not spit in front of him but to his left or under his feet." And Shu`ba said, "He should not spit in front of him, nor to his right but to his left or under his foot." Anas said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He should neither spit in the direction of his Qibla nor to his right but to his left or under his foot."

This is lie. The calendar existed during our prophet's lifetime.
What Omar did was that he changed the original calendar. All of you are now following a wrong calendar. This is not a fitna. It's the truth.

Can we celebrate the Islamic New Year?
The only thing you are forbidden from is what Allah mentioned in the Quran. Everything else is halal. Whatever the Hadith tells is haram is more likely made up and not the prophet's saying. Even if it's bukhari or Muslim.

إن الله لا يقبض العلم قبضا و لكن يقبض العلم بموت العلماء حتى اذا لم يبق عالم إتخذ الناس رؤوسا جهالا فسئلوا فافتوا بغير علم فضلوا و أضلوا..
Sorry had to stop listening, 6:00-7:00 too much shouting for no reason. There is never a reason to shout when one is on a mic as everyone can hear perfectly. The entire lecture is a rollercoaster ride for no reason.

I suggest you listen to imran hosein titled the Quran and the moon. He is very gentle on his explanation, a very wise sheikh too.
Because he is talking from his heart. He's not reading from a script.
Allah makes the one he calls passionate in their duty. Turn down your volume.
