Wonderful in -depth review, of both the books and the peerless product, Becca. I know that you will always address all the questions I have about what you’ve reviewed AND discuss pros and cons that I’ve not even considered…ie. providing references/links to artists who have influenced the development of this particular style…that would be such a beneficial resource! Thanks…and wishing you all the best ❤

It just struck me that I think people use “self taught” often to mean that they did not have direct, frequent feedback about their work from anyone knowleadgeable (which does make things harder and may justify some lacking areas or peculiar ways of doing things) - as you mentioned when you were talking about learning from books vs getting direct feedback at school. If I were to learn clarinet at home from videos and books my playing would be informed by the giants before me… but it would not be the same of someone who had lessons with a tutor.

I’m shocked that Peerless has been taking so long to get back to you! Usually they’re very responsive. I had a similar issue once with missing a color sheet from a set and they fixed it right away. Sorry that wasn’t your experience.
