- Hi guys, In today’s Vlog, we test & review the Simba Mattress and Pillows.
We’ve now had it a few months ( just forgot to put the video together ) so we’ve now had a lot more time to sleep on it.
We will be doing a follow up review video shortly to tell you guys what we think of it after a few
Months use.

@@HelenHollywoodVlogs will do. First time I’ve ever spent this kinda money on a pillow, hope it was worth it! What’s your opinion on it now? Any tips?
@@Philtr3 with the pillows, I’d say keep “fluffing” them up. We don’t enjoy them anymore. They seemed to lose their bounce a bit 😔
@@Philtr3 the pillow isn’t good honestly I don’t know why there’s so many good reviews out there. The cubes just move around in your sleep and you’re never comfortable. There’s also nowhere near enough support for side sleeping and you can feel the cubes against your face. Used this pillow for one night and realised this. A normal memory foam or down pillow would be better.
Which variant of the simba is this? Are you guys still enjoying it? Just ordered the Hybrid Pro bundle
Hi, this is the Simba Hybrid. We are still enjoying it a year later. Love it. The pillows…. Not so much haha. I’d say save your money and don’t buy the pillows 😬

Hi how is the simba mattress, pillows and duvet holding up? We are thinking of buying them but keep seeing bad reviews from people after 1-2 years. Would love to hear if the mattress is still going ok after all of this time…. and also does the duvet wash ok? What was wrong with the pillows? I really love the idea that they can be washed so easily and not end up ruined, we spend so much replacing pillows all of the time… but they are so expensive so if they arnt good I’d love to know why so we don’t waste our money.
Hiya, yeah we are the same. Always trying to find the perfect pillow.
Regrettably though, the pillows don’t really hold up. They are so comfy to begin with but they soon start to feel lumpy.
My husband was able to feel the cubes and just didn’t like it at all.
We annoyingly had just gone past the time of being able to return them 😩
The mattress is still great though, love you mattress it’s still just as comfy from when we first had it 😊
And sadly we didn’t get the blanket in the end but it’s something that we still want to try 😊
@@HelenHollywoodVlogs thank you for replying. I wish there was a good way to wash pillows without them going all lumpy 🤣. Those simba pillows do sound great but I don’t like lumpy pillows so wouldn’t want to feel the cubes… I like my feather pillow as it’s so soft. Think il just have to stick to normal pillows and not waste money on the simba ones. Think we are going for the simba luxe mattress. Did yours arrive quickly?
Yeah our mattress arrived fairly quickly, you won’t believe how small they can roll it up lol!
and yeah feather pillows are one of my favourite types of pillows.
For the last 6-7 months, we’ve been using Tempur pillows. They are so good, very comfy. They are so heavy though but your head just sinks in to them 😊

Please dont waste your money, we were conned out of over a thousand pounds easily, took the cover off to wash it to find the mattress falling apart, literally held together by staples, i sent in a rather long email, with video and pics, they sent out a replacement, a sub par replacement, when we complained we were then told we would need to allow someone from a private company in to inspect the mattress, (this wasnt in the original T's&C's, but the updated ones) after reading other peoples experiences on trustpilot, which were truly awful, we decided to just bin it.
Dips, ridges, piling. Absolutely shocking from a company that charges so much.

Hey just wonder whether the simba pro will be too soft ? Cos I got back pain ..

How are you finding the mattress now?
2 years on and my husband wants a new mattress haha! He’s not liking it at all anymore. He says it feels like it’s “gone soft” and it seems to dip down too much for him, if I lay near him I feel like I’m tilting down towards him.
I still find it comfy but it’s definitely not the same as when we first had it.
We expected it to hold its shape and feel great for longer considering the cost.

@@HelenHollywoodVlogs Oh gosh! Glad I came to watch some videos before purchasing one! .. Have you contacted with regards Warranty replacement with the 10 year Warranty? Wondering how that would go?
@@ItsRyan. that’s something my husband is going to be doing after Christmas is out the way.
We feel that the mattress should still be good only 2 years down the line.
And definitely don’t buy the pillows if you do purchase a mattress. They are very pricey but we stopped using them after a few months but we weren’t able to return them
@@HelenHollywoodVlogs Hopefully they will replace for free for you then! Yeah for the price you 100% would expect it to last longer than 2 years. Glad you just said about the pillows was looking at adding the Duvet & Pillows onto the cost. I’ll avoid!
@@ItsRyan. we want to try the duvet as we’ve heard good things but we may give it a miss.
Fingers crossed we can get the mattress replaced. My husband is normally pretty good at negotiating 😬
2 years on and they are awful mattresses..

We’ve had it around 18 months now and I still love it but for the last week or two, my husband has been saying it just doesn’t feel as good to him now 😩
@@HelenHollywoodVlogs keeps your eyes peeled for dips on his side, they are notorious for this, also if you complain to simba you are then told you will need to have your mattress inspected.
This is basically so they can get out of the ten year warranty.
How has he found temp regulation throughout the summer months?
@@misssocrates3442 during the summer he didn’t find that he was too hot on the mattress but he still wasn’t as comfy/cool as he wanted to be.
He now has dips on his side and I feel like I’m tilting down towards him if I lay too close to him.
He doesn’t like the mattress at all anymore.
We will have to make a complaint after Christmas is out the way but whether they do something about it or not is another storey 😬
