I got a Simba mattress....not as comfy as expected. Harder than I like and seems to feel like its uneven. Maybe ill try the pro one but i feel that a traditional mattress maybe just better overall?
Watching both of your reviews for the Simba and OTTY mattresses they both seem very similar with almost identical feedback. Which one did you prefer of the two?
Geekanoids did you notice much of a difference in comfort and support between the more traditional springs in the OTTY and the small conical springs of the Simba?
Excellent review Dave, thank you. But I have a question. Will fit (the double duvet) fit in my new 10kg drum washing machine machine? My current duvets will not. To me,this is question is very important as with the current Covid situation, laundrettes and collecting £ coins are a dual problem.
They are excellent when they are brand new but check out some of the reviews over at Amazon & elsewhere from owners who have slept on them for 6 months plus and the problems they now have with the foam sinking far more than it should do and Simba’s very poor response. I personally know 2 people who own one and 12 months on they are not happy bunnies sad to say.
It's the same story on the John Lewis website. Look at the reviews on there from people who've had the mattress for a longer period (6 months to a year) they are all giving one star reviews for the same issues. Simba are either not responding or they are saying that the mattress is 'within tolerance' People who previously never suffered from back pain are now suffering with it due to the Simba mattress according to what I've read :(

Hi dave I watch a few videos and loads of research. I finally ordered the otty mattess. Great. But 3 weeks in, i ache every where. Including elbows and hips etc. Would you say the otty mattess is much harder compared to a simba? Im thinking to go for the simba but wanted more information. Many thanks. X
They are roughly the same support. I found the Simba had a little more structure in the middle sections so it might suit better. I would contact them first and discuss.
Update! I messaged the company about the unfair price difference for Ireland v UK and I was kindly given 20% off my purchase, very happy now :)

It can take a week or two to get used too.
Wonder if a duvet cover might effect the cooling properties
It should have minimal effect.

I liked them both after a two week period. Continued using the Otty and it is still super comfy.

Yes. The Otty is quite a bit firmer.
They look very futuristic.
