    Phil wins with q6 off everything's great. Phil loses to same hand ," how is this possible!?"

    • @RobMcLeanEDM
      @RobMcLeanEDM 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Exactly. If Phil really believes it's that much of a travesty when he loses in a game that involves luck, he should apologise to his opponents every time he gets there with a worse hand. Don't see him calling himself an "idiot player" when that happens

    • @JoNNyCLOUD171
      @JoNNyCLOUD171 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You both say that but don't point out the context.
      Phil has been around longer than most pros and these kids he tells it how it is to rarely last 10 years.
      Calling a large bet pre flop with garbbage against a fairly tight person with 3 to act behind is cancer tier level play. Then to call a c-bet on the flop with nothing is even worse.
      That's why (and rightfully so) he gets pissed off. He's playing Donkey players that have no business at this level and will almost certainly go broke to other players.
      Phil then gets God level flops and they out draw him with bad calls yet again. Phil has to have the worst TV luck from the past 15 years but sure you look at the single aspects of hands.
      Phil is down what $60k in this format and look how he lost most of it. All ins to rats that get lucky and he knows won't be relevant in poker in 10 years. He also probably won half of that in regular small pot play meaning he lost most of his chips to bad luck.
      I wonder how you would react losing $10k to someone that not only played poorly but then got rewarded with luck and THEN gets needled. Phil has been around a long time and likely will be for longer than most.
      Do I agree with some of his antics, obviously not. Some of it is branding granted but the guy is obsessed with poker and quality play. If you had something you were passionate about you would act the same.
      I look forward to your very witty and educated fact based remarks.

      @@GravityBoy72 I agree lad. Luck is a part but human emotions for something you care so passionately about is also a part. I even say I do not agree with some of the stuff he says SOMETIMES, but when you take the feelings out and look at the facts, what he says (even though he uses emotion WITH what he says) is straight facts.
      Phil from my knowledge has some of if not the worst / consistent televised bad luck.

      I can't stand Phil, but when you take into account his horrible luck, he has to be the best player in history. He has a million bracelets and he's like the most unlucky person I've ever seen. I haven't been watching poker that long and i can't even count how many times phil has had big hands and been up against the one hand that beats his. His odds are like 96% to 4% on the flop and his opponent usually gets there. If his odds are anything less than 80% to 20% they just always get there.

    Thunder Valley is a great place for circuit event tournaments and for cash games. They've since moved their poker tables to the other end of this causeway, inside their own room so that you don't have to hear all of the sounds of the slot machines, and you don't have to smell all of the disgusting cigarette smoke. Their High Steaks restaurant is awesome too. I've had that aged t-bone before and it was amazing. I couldn't eat another bite of food for a full day, LOL.

      The straight on the table makes it a chop pot so Phil got mad cause he had everyone else basically beat but the straight hit lol

      Generation Gabe sorry I sound dumb but did Phil lose or just get his money back ?

      Z Z no biggie and he got his money back all of them split everything equally since all there pocket pairs were beat by the straight on the board but it Phil got heated because he was ahead with three of a kind 6’s so he could have really tripled his stack but instead ended up staying the same

    This seems to be just a bash against Phil. His style is a bit like an online player, but Phil is a great player. Let's show some of his great games

      They're showing his actual totals from his PNIA seasons, which is kind of the point of this little series.

      She is pretty but I think she may be overrated. It's like spending years in prison, once you get out everything is going to look good.

    I like to imagine all of these hands happening back-to-back. Hellmuth consistently getting bad beats and losing hands for all eternity hahaha the most unlucky man in the world!

      Phil is a terrible cash game player. Smart that he buys in for the minimum.
