there is one flaw in your tips.. you suggested to sit near the rear of the plane. That usually is where the bathroom is, so you will get all the traffic going to and from the bathroom. I would think sitting furtherest away from bathroom and a window seat would get the least amount of passer's by. Am i wrong?
it depends which plane you are on. different planes have different layouts. Which is why they ask you to locate the nearest exit at the start of every flight.
