What is your best hack for getting more sleep on a plane?

Thanks for the tips. 👍🏿Unfortunately, I hate those head rest areas because majority of the time they incline forward too much cause me to bend my head and making it uncomfortable to seat back. I find using a neck pillow helps alleviate this a little. I also dislike the noise generated from any person at any age on tablets/phones played loudly. Parents with kids who do that need to regulate better. I teach my nephew (8 years), who I co-raise with my sister, to be mindful and help him understand that he is part of a larger community and the difference between public space and private space. It can be done just requires practice.

One caution I've not yet heard on these "travel hacks" videos is about NOT taking your shoes off for any reason if there's any chance that they are already a snug fit. If they are, then there's a very real possibility that you will not be able to get them back on over feet that, most assuredly, will swell during the flight. If someone wore boots, for example, and took them off in order to be more comfortable when sleeping, then this could definitely be a problem at the end of the flight. Sometimes your original shoes will be painfully uncomfortable afterward; other times, they will be completely impossible to get back on.

You might want to try wearing compression socks. The socks will take care of the swelling. I've been using these for years. I have no problem putting my shoes back on after I've removed them.

I sometimes yell in my sleep 🛌 when I get bad dreams and yell weird stuff which at worst could get me 🦵 kicked off the flight ✈️. Hope people will understand I have sleep related problems.

Window seats are always so cold for some reason. It feels like leaning on an air conditioner sometimes.
