A joy to find this here. I compiled and produced this release with Keiko Yoshida back in 1986. Just found the master tapes for this in the studio too. Amazing time-travelling...
Take the wheel, of the world, And drive, drive, drive, drive, drive. Quick as a gun Blind like a ghost I catch most things in my blood You all lose between rooms... One last gasp before I go Your crystal skin laced with rust Laced with rust, laced with rust Take the wheel of the world and drive One blood lust glance of the milky way Two shots, one in a million, Short-circuits a billion light years away Down here it rains blood and milk for months, The zulus are getting too strong to play with no more, No more, no more Take the wheel of the world and drive A pocket too fulluva stars Too hot to handle alone Burning a hole, smouldering footsteps that lead to a heart Mine, yours, who cares, it still burns, Still borne, I'm still burning Burning down Take the wheel of the world and drive
Still fucking Burning. Gone 15 years. Rest in peace to my lifelong creative inspirational muse.... (P.S. another relatively unknown song that Rowland recorded outside of Birthday Party, Crime & City Solution, These Immortal Souls, Nikki Sudden, Solo work etc is 'Summer High' by Magic Dirt (kind of a shit band, but an incredible song with Rowland). His production and guitar contribution on HTRK's first LP too on tracks like 'Rent Boy' and 'Panties" are a haunting last work.
The singer is the guitarist, Rowland was a great writer and guitarist but unfortunately lived a very unhealthy life which took a toll on his body so his singing declined, regardless I still appreciate it.
@@gabrielceballos8789 I know about him, I'm an Australian who saw his original band the Birthday Party many times in the beer barns of Australia back in the late 70s early 80s and he's always been a crap singer, nothing to do with lifestyle

Great upload - very crisp audio! Do you have a source for the photo by any chance? I'm with RSH's fansite and we'd love it for the site gallery.
Is there any way to get a digital version of this? All I can find is the version with Lydia.
Wasn't this a compilation called, "Pyere " or something like that?
