Hey, I am actually sorry for being the smart ass here. These tutorials are great and I learned far more from them then my company-paid training. However... I have a minor comment: swarming is older than agile, at least to my knowledge. It comes from the Andong Cord in the Toyota Production System, hence it's part of Lean. This is totally irrelevant to the whole story but I might have had one Whisky too much to shy away from this comment tonight. Cheers and thank you very much Sebastian
Hi Sebastian No worries at all, I am always open to constructive criticism :) And you might be right, as many concepts in Agility have been derived from Lean and therefore from the Toyota Production System. I would do a little reasearch on the matter to update my knowledge. Thanks for the suggestion and cheers, Alex
Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I cannot change these videos, but I have put it in my backlog to record this topic as a new video. Do you have any suggestions, which areas or questions I should cover in more detail?
i must say you made the topics way easier and fun to understand than my 18honline coure. Im very pleased. Short question.. are the mock exam questions the real one? should be able to pass thanks to your help
Thank you so much for your kind feedback :) Always happy to be of service. Yes, the mock exam questions are from the pool of actual exam questions and might appear during the exam. All the best for it and cheers, Alex
Sure thing, I'll try to explain. Swarming is a method used for issues or topics, where it is not clear how the solution should look like or who is responsible to implement it. So you put a lot of people together and let them figure it out. So you let them swarm around the issue until it is clear whon needs to solve it and how. Like a major incident...you probably don't know what happend or how to handle it...so you get all hands on deck. Infrastrcture teams, DB teams, sys admins, developersm IT security and anybody else, who could have an idea how to solve this. In the past, this was called a war room or situation room. Now, all these people start to debate and try to figure out, how this issue can be solved. Once the solution is clear, this temporary "swarm" disbands and the responsibles implement the solution. Hope this helps. All the best, Alex
