There are so many factors to consider when reading Scripture. We can miss the real meaning by jumping to false conclusions based on incomplete information. I'm guilty of this and have learned to slow down and pray and digest the Word before making assumptions.
    God Bless you all😁

the point of the post-trib resurrection is this: 2Th 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: 2Th 1:5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
I guess my question to you would be; what would be the point of millions of believers suffering tribulation, persecution and death for their testimony of the Lord down through the ages. Were they not part of the body of Christ also. Tribulation, persecution, death is to be expected for those who would live godly in Christ. Surely you are not so naive to think that the last generation before His return is somehow more special than all who died for their testimony in the last 2000 years?

Repentance starts with God. Everything good starts with God. Apart from God's grace, apart from the moving of His Spirit, we can not repent. This is so clearly brought out in Psalms 80.
In the Hebrew, it says Turn us back."
In other words cause us to repent.
Where it is repeated 3 times v-3 Turn us back and we shall be saved,v-7,
Turn us back and we shall be saved, v-19 Turn us back and we shall be saved. You understand? You can not repent unless God turns you. The turning starts with God. That's why it's such a vital moment in our lives when God begins to turn us. Because if we shrug it off and turn away, we can not repent left to ourselves. We are dependent on God to initiate repentance.
    Then again
    Lamentations 5:21
Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. You think you can turn when you want to turn?
You can not do that. The Bible says there's only one alternative to repentance, as stated in Luke 13. The first few verses in Jesus's ministry.
    Luke 13:1-5
There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. Apparently Pilate had them executed when they were performing sacrifices.
You would think that would count for their good but Jesus said 2And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 4Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 5
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
There are only two alternatives according to Jesus repent or perish.
Jesus's final command after the resurrection for believers to preach to the world was not John 3:16, which was decades away from being written but
    Luke 24:44-47
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, And REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS will be preached in His name to ALL NATIONS Starting in Jerusalem.
John 3:16 says nothing about repentance or the forgiveness of sins therefore it can not be for salvation but rather a verse of promise of everlasting life with God for those who continue in the faith until the end.

IF you don’t humble yourself before God and repent:
      Luke 16:19-31
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will REPENT. 31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
You cannot enter into the kingdom of God unless you repent.

      Read your Bible.
      Acts 11:18
When they heard this, they had no further objections and saying, so then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
      2 Corinthians 7:9-10
Yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry but because YOUR SORROW LED YOU TO REPENTANCE. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10GODLY SORROW BRINGS REPENTANCE THAT LEADS TO SALVATION and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

How do we go from Luke 13:3-5, to 1948, to a book written in 1990? What does any of that have to do with the price of eggs in China? Jesus didn't say repent or you will perish in reference to a war in 70 AD that led to Israel not being reconnected as a nation until 1948. That would only sew confusion to the listeners of that speech, (as the speakers in this video and that book author are doing) which we know God is not the author of confusion. This was the largest, Olympic stretch I've ever witnessed from Hyper grace, and I've witnessed some doosies! Hyper (cheap) grace teachers and followers will do one of two things when faced with scriptures that contradict their false theology; 1. Bastardize the scripture, "well, it doesn't really mean what it says as it's written, it actually means *this*" or 2. Completely discredit or discard the scripture entirely if they can't twist it to fit their narratives, primarily running to "well that's not a KJV translation so therefore it's not true"
Such an easy grift to see right through, people only fall for this absolute hogwash because they want to keep being their own god (self idolatry, worshipping their sin) , but also want an easy out or loophole out of the consequences we all on a spiritual level, instinctually know is waiting on the otherside of this life.

And in Acts 17:38 it says, " God commands all men everywhere to repent", so repentance is a COMMAND OF GOD and in 1John 2:4 it says that if you disobey the Lord's commands, you are a liar and have not the truth.
So, if you do not repent, you are a liar and have not the truth, yet GES says that you can disobey his commands, be a liar and have not the truth and yet you will still be saved.

You don’t know what repent means. Repent means to change your mind. When you repent you say that I am no longer going to do it my way; I am going to do it God’s way. Repent does not mean stop sinning. That is NOT possible.

Repenting and turning away from sin means a recognition of my sins, which involves Godly sorrow,
brokenness and a commitment on my part to change the direction of my life. Repentance is not an emotion. Its more than being grieved or feeling sorry about my sin and even having remorse.
God wants you to humble yourself make a decision of the heart and mind [the will] to turn away from sin. Your life was going in one direction [sin] and you make a decision by faith to take your life in the opposite direction with His help.
It is making a genuine 180° change of heart recognizing that sin(s) is against God.
By turning from our sins to God we acknowledge we have disobeyed God. We have violated His law, offended his moral purity, tried to cast off his yoke of authority. It requires that we admit we have turned from God to sin.
Repentance is the consequence of faith.
Repent means change your mind about your sinfulled life ALL SINS INCLUDING UNBELIEF,
      false gods,
sexual immortality, witchcraft, self righteousness, idols etc.
      After repentance there must
be a genuine change of life because living in sin is disobedience and rebellion against God and the end result will be
destruction of the soul in hell.
There must be a change in conduct and how you live.
You don't have to remember every sin, Jesus knows them all. Confess ongoing sins, and ask for deliverance of them and forgiveness of all sins.
      [1John 1:9]
Repentance turning from sin - is a prelude to holiness.
      Hebrews 12:14
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy, without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Walking in holiness begins with repentance. We should think about it as a lifetime daily discipline of our faith,
necessary for a holy life as Jesus says in
      Luke 11:3-4.
      None of us are sinless.

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness....Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise....understand what the will of the Lord is.."
Col 3:1 " If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is.....SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, not things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ Jesus.....Put on then, as God's chosen ones, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness and patience.....and above all PUT ON LOVE"

1 John 1:7 " Walk in the light as he is in the light.....and the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin.....if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins...."
