- Ironflesh provides 3% damage reduction per point - First aid affects how much hp you can restore by pressing "h" (unless you don't want to use this form of "legal cheating") - More persuasion allows you to recruit better troops from rescued prisoners (especially helpful in early game, since it’s also based on your level) - Only player can receive free atribute points from high relations with other lords. - As for “Geldar vs Elintor” - Pretty much the same foot archers. Geldarin foot knights are slightly better in melee, Crimson rangers are slightly better in archery (only 20 more, which is barely noticeable) - Custom troops are very usefull. You take into consideration only base skills and yes, those are around 10% lower than skills of ELITE units from other factions, but try to take a look at training time and the fact that you can equip them with better stuff.

Having 45 str, 15 ironflash + a good armor late game (75 body) makes you pretty much unkillable. But you still wanna carry a shield in sieges cuz archers sometimes broken as fuck.

These days every time i try a new mod I first check if Hit Point Inn made a guide for it before even as a player with over 1.8k hours in Warband, I still find so much info I omitted on his guides.
Just a minor pedantic point. Ritter is german for knight, so a drachenritter doesn't translate to dragon rider but rather dragon knight. Interesting vid, thank you.
@@hermanr5961 equites riders ritters reiters riddara, are generally used for wealthy horse owning fighters for its time. So saying it a knight could be purely for explanatory reason. And the word fits to the role too
27:40 You actually can obtain a dragon mount! But the only avenue I know is through the mystic merchant and that's pretty much 100% RNG whether he'll have it in stock or not. (then again, quit reload refreshes his stock anyways so all you need in patience and money for it)

Hey great video, I love your M&B guides. A thing you didn't say (which I don't blame you since you married lily and not another lady) is that in perisno, if you marry a lady who is NOT a lord, your wife can then become a companion who has no complaints or issues with other party members. I'm not sure, but I do not believe that you can make your wife a vassal. All the ladies I've married are pretty much blank slates and level 1, so not the best, but it's an option if you want more companions in your party.
I have followed your pendor guide and conquer the whole map in 1k day as a king, that was my first ever mod that I've ever completed, i haven't even win vanilla warband lol. Thanks for your guide tho, it really helps me in the early to late game. Also pleasee update your perisno guide 🙏

One thing I don't think you mentioned is that when you're trying to buy enterprises in Perisno, there's a minimum relation you need with the town as well, being AT LEAST 1 relation, and at least "5 - your Persuasion stat". So no enterprises to you if you're 0 or negative relation, even if you have infinite persuasion. You'd need 1 relation and 4 persuasion at minimum to be able to buy an enterprise at any given town. (Also the town's lord needs to be above 0 if they're bad tempered but that's only an issue in Arish I think) (SCREW YOU HAKKON AMIROEZ)
I've been buying enterprises with 0 relation, but with 9 persuasion (from starting build). I checked and it says it is indeed Perisno v0.9. Edit: Every new character I make with 5 or more persuasion can buy enterprises from lvl 1. With 0 relation. Also: Do you mean that it is impossible to buy enterprise without persuasion lvl 5?
This is a nightmare for me, as everytime I start a quest from the Guildmaster, is ALWAYS hunt down some warband group, which is somewhere in the map, as result they end up killed by another faction, and rendering my efforts futile.
I think the real value of the Looting Build is that it helps you gather top tier equipment faster and in greater quantities. It gives you a better shot at rare items.

Usually in my games the Geldar litteraly spank the elintors armies easily lol but the downside is obviously that they cant take any damn castles or cites as the king just sits in azure keep til they have like 3 castle or something like that with like 300-500 sized army. I personally do prefer Geldar troops over Elintor i find them quite good
@@HitPointInnGaming In my humble opinion Realm of the Falcon is way to strong lol Elintor and Geldar are 2nd and 3rd id say in power just Geldar are weaker as they only have a castle and a town and getting noble troops is a pain as i only get either 1 or 0 each time it refreshed lul, if only the player could do anything with those 300 or so sized armies of geldar troops in the geldarin lands does make for good exp and loot as a freelancer tho in the elintor army lol
Apparently the Cold Island Start for humans, while suboptimal, does give you access to a 19th companion otherwise unavailable to anyone else. They start low level and are also noble.
With morgph editor (not sure if i spell it right lol) you can edit what is max stat lvl, but upper limit is to 15 for every stat. Don't know if there's way to push it even higher. Just not every stat works with that like inventory managment don't do anything over 10 lvl so it's limited to 10 not to spend points on it etc. Same weapon master glitches above lvl 10
bro idk if it's the version, but Khu Lan horde is insane in the last version. I besieged their main town with double the units and got my ass handed to me. They're just tough as nails

I have a question concerning the Troop section of the video. How do "outlaw" / "minor faction" troops like the Eagle Lords or Demon Invoker fare against the other units? They are possible to be obtained though much harder, but I was wondering if helping out the Demon Worshipers over and over again to grind relation with them was worth it to create a Demon Army (even tho not as impressive as the Dreaded Army)

I just wish to ask a quick question. In perisno, when using blunt weapons, I actually kill some of the units. I want them wounded for prisoners but instead I kill many of them. Is it a feature or a bug ?
@@HitPointInnGaming I am running the 0.9.2 the current version of the Perisno mod. I can tell you that I am using blunt mace doing 22b damage with alright reach and speed. Some of the guys I kill instead of wound, like 50% sometimes less. I heard that it's a feature at the moment because otherwise you just break the game by selling prisoners and getting tons of money. Heard other guys have this as well. Any suggestions ?

The edit is described in the Perisno board of Taleworlds forums, posted in the discussion + suggestions thread on 8th of October. You'll easily recognize it by it's code format.
Any reason you chose dyeworks in Grozny instead of wine production? The 4 villages that supply it don't have neither dyes nor silk. They all do have grape production, though. Come to think of it, have you considered sharing a list of optimal productions per town, based on local production?
@@HitPointInnGaming I think there might be variation in production to some extent. Can't verify and would be happy if someone could. Momentary prices can change, sadly. Without local production any business will barely make a profit to be worth it. Luckily some towns have raw input available and no town production to compete with your future enterprise. Really hope those are static between playthroughs. Awaiting hopefully for a confirmation. To add an example from my playthrough I looked through Valahir lands. Grund's villages don't produce iron or olives, yet Grund produces tools and oil. Same for Grozny- but it just produces tools. All villages on the island produce flax bundle, yet neither of the two towns produce linen. Both can produce wine and every village produces grapes to supply it, but no linen production means that should sell higher, while flax should be cheaper- double effect for higher margin. I have no idea if Mount&Blade has a basic Supply & Demand economy mechanism beyond pure item saturation, though, so can't tell if this would work. Asking the Guild master: I get a slightly higher sale revenue from wine, but more significantly expensive grapes. The profit reported favors linen, but the revenue for linen shouldn't be lower on average if both productions are the same quantity.
@@cerber991 My dude. You are overthinking this. Just ask the guildmaster and decide if the investment is worth the pay off. Yes, grapes are expensive, but it might give you some extra cash in the long run. +/- 100g is not worth scoffing over in the grand scheme of things, especially since the main source of income will come from battles.

disband some soldiers to cut expenses. Kill enemies/armies for loot and prisoners. If you have tournaments in the area, participate. If you haven't already, build enterprises all over the world.
@@oguzakdeniz809 Donno what that is about. I've checked some forums and it states on some that it is due to renown loss, but I think it is a bug. You either keep playing and hope they reappear, or restart your playthrough.
Kind of weird that the Kuu-lan has a "Ataman" unit, because Ataman was a title for a slavic general, not exactly, but the closest i can compare without just saying ataman. And Kuu-lan overall seems like the complete opposite of slavs. Just some fun useless data to waste your time

Has your opinion on the 10 Trade at Level 1 character changed since caravan runs were introduced? The mark ups are determined only by your individual trading skill, so Fazyl cannot help you out, and you can easily get over 100k aurems from a single haul.
I feel like you can get an amazing amount of money with caravans regardless of your trade stat. You just need a capable party to handle itself against the minor factions that you won't be able to outrun on your caravan travels.
Depends on the faction that you are playing with, you play to their strength, but it is know that fast infantry works best in sieges, while archers dominate the fields.
Oh and one last quick thing, isn't perisno nighttime just gruesomely dark?! What have you done to remedy it or have you just learn to just deal with it
Can anybody explain how acres and land work in a fief? I've looked all over online but can't seem to find anything. And I don't think it's mentioned in the video. Massive thanks to anyone who can explain :)
You buy land, it produces money. You have to collect money every two weeks. It explains there in the menu if you read it. I recommend that you buy land in the city in which you will spend a lot of time. Do not buy land everywhere since you have to manually be there and collect the money.

So I'm getting to the point where I feel I can break off and start a faction, playing as a vassal of Elintor but I really dont wanna instantly be at war with them just to have a free castle. Any recommendations on getting a castle easily? Tried to take Panmandot and I just get destroyed (fighting with a 150 man army against a 500 garrison)
I got it taken eventually had to siege it 4 or 5 times, first few times was just taking out all the archers then I just sat back and let my elves shoot at the shield wall for a while
That's a great guide very well explained. I'm having a problem with this mod, for some reason when I start a new playthrough the factions appear as the vanilla game, for example the city of "Elsinore" will be "Yalen" and the Kingdom will be Rhodok, does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks!
@@HitPointInnGaming I found the source of the problem: It looks like if you have the game in a different language the text doesn't appear as it should, also changing the game in english will fix the problem with the "Reputation type" in case someone is not able to see it.
Can anybody say why my custom cavalry not using secondary weapons after lances? In close combat they still use them and not swords on maces i gave them. Why?
@@HitPointInnGaming and if i will equip swords and morgensterns? Still order blunt weapons? By the way, command "use weapons at will" seams not working. They still use pikes in close combat. That completely destroys cavalry tactics in the mod. Lancers are not useful at all. Only if dismounted, my cav use secondary weapon.
Hi im back with another question The zann envaded and took out most of Elentoria and we only have 2 towns and 1 castle what do i do bechause i cant fight back the garisons have over 700 troops and when they atack a castle or town its 3 or 4k troops
@@HitPointInnGaming Freelancer is disabled in the latest version (0.99) because it causes a bug that sets your captured flag to be permanently on, meaning you can't receive fiefs ever. You can manually enable it but if you join a lord's army and that army gets defeated with you in it, it will break your game.
I know how to get them ive watched all ur videos lol what i mean is how to get all that room for prisoners. As of r n i have a 40 man early army and I can hold like 12 prisoners and have 1 or 2 points into prisoner management will it grow with the size of my army like VC and it is just alot less of an increase to how many prisoners you can hold?
I joined the kaikoth confederation, and didnt fight a single battle with the zann, they never fought kaikoth and we had trade agreements, does that happen often?
It happens. The Zann are not capable of conquering the entire continent. They would spread themselves out too thin. Even if they take fiefs deep in continent territory, they can't hold it because of the small number of lords the factions has.
I don't remember how. It's been a few years. Maybe talk with the minister in your capital/fief. Check in the camp menus? There is also a possibility that you can't.
@@HitPointInnGaming yeah but the problem is that I mainly have Elintorian soldiers. Now I can't use Elintorian units against Elintor cuz of the negative morale. Would Kaikoth be a strong faction to defeat Elintor and conquer Perisno or would Maccavia be better
@@pratikgautam3109 Kaikoth have the best infantry. You can even use Elintor against Elintor. You just have to defeat them quickly and recruit more Elintor than they desert.
Invest in pathfinding so you won't be caught. Grab only soldiers from the Best troops section of the video and choose your fights carefully. Keep an eye out for fights that have a lot of prisoners, you can jump in and save them for yourself.
I have to get a relation of 15 every time I want I try to build a enterprise it says the guild wants to know me better is there anyway to turn this off?
Is there anyway to make your troops stfu? They repeat the same thing every 5 seconds from all directions. Honestly making me want to go back to PoP or try a new mod.
Wow I just reinstalled this game and saw this guide to the end. Went to the comment section and saw my comment. I guess the game fixed the problem I had. Love this mod it got a whole lot better and this guide helped me out a lot.

Well, actually, you can get up to 5 power draw on level one with.Elf, Hunter/improvished noble, Shooting, Army recruit, last is anything.
and yea for the dragons and the unique stuff i simply make them sellable from the morghs editor and i can buy them for a good amount of gold

And besides that, a lot of cash off of that rare loot that will finance your late game campaigns and custom knighthood order training.
New update just came out for this mod! New armors and mounts look amazing!
They also reworked the Perisno Troop Tree and made it incredibly powerful, worth grabbing.

@@HitPointInnGaming In my humble opinion Realm of the Falcon is way to strong lol Elintor and Geldar are 2nd and 3rd id say in power just Geldar are weaker as they only have a castle and a town and getting noble troops is a pain as i only get either 1 or 0 each time it refreshed lul, if only the player could do anything with those 300 or so sized armies of geldar troops in the geldarin lands does make for good exp and loot as a freelancer tho in the elintor army lol

Apparently the Cold Island Start for humans, while suboptimal, does give you access to a 19th companion otherwise unavailable to anyone else. They start low level and are also noble.

With morgph editor (not sure if i spell it right lol) you can edit what is max stat lvl, but upper limit is to 15 for every stat. Don't know if there's way to push it even higher.
Just not every stat works with that like inventory managment don't do anything over 10 lvl so it's limited to 10 not to spend points on it etc. Same weapon master glitches above lvl 10
Fountain hall is most op to defend and it is most realistic castle in m&b warband games but man getting it is pain in the ass

Pretty much, simply for the lack of shields and lack of fiefs. Tolrania simply by a stat perspective.

I have a question concerning the Troop section of the video. How do "outlaw" / "minor faction" troops like the Eagle Lords or Demon Invoker fare against the other units? They are possible to be obtained though much harder, but I was wondering if helping out the Demon Worshipers over and over again to grind relation with them was worth it to create a Demon Army (even tho not as impressive as the Dreaded Army)
I feel like they are on par with Reich troops. Feel free to test them out and see if they are worth it, thou.

I just wish to ask a quick question. In perisno, when using blunt weapons, I actually kill some of the units. I want them wounded for prisoners but instead I kill many of them. Is it a feature or a bug ?
you should be knocking them out. Make sure your weapons does b damage.

@@HitPointInnGaming I am running the 0.9.2 the current version of the Perisno mod. I can tell you that I am using blunt mace doing 22b damage with alright reach and speed. Some of the guys I kill instead of wound, like 50% sometimes less. I heard that it's a feature at the moment because otherwise you just break the game by selling prisoners and getting tons of money. Heard other guys have this as well. Any suggestions ?

The edit is described in the Perisno board of Taleworlds forums, posted in the discussion + suggestions thread on 8th of October. You'll easily recognize it by it's code format.
Any reason you chose dyeworks in Grozny instead of wine production? The 4 villages that supply it don't have neither dyes nor silk. They all do have grape production, though. Come to think of it, have you considered sharing a list of optimal productions per town, based on local production?
Sadly there is no list. I just ask the guildmaster what produces the most and I build that.
@@HitPointInnGaming I think there might be variation in production to some extent. Can't verify and would be happy if someone could.
Momentary prices can change, sadly. Without local production any business will barely make a profit to be worth it. Luckily some towns have raw input available and no town production to compete with your future enterprise. Really hope those are static between playthroughs. Awaiting hopefully for a confirmation.
To add an example from my playthrough I looked through Valahir lands. Grund's villages don't produce iron or olives, yet Grund produces tools and oil. Same for Grozny- but it just produces tools. All villages on the island produce flax bundle, yet neither of the two towns produce linen. Both can produce wine and every village produces grapes to supply it, but no linen production means that should sell higher, while flax should be cheaper- double effect for higher margin. I have no idea if Mount&Blade has a basic Supply & Demand economy mechanism beyond pure item saturation, though, so can't tell if this would work.
Asking the Guild master: I get a slightly higher sale revenue from wine, but more significantly expensive grapes. The profit reported favors linen, but the revenue for linen shouldn't be lower on average if both productions are the same quantity.
@@cerber991 My dude. You are overthinking this. Just ask the guildmaster and decide if the investment is worth the pay off. Yes, grapes are expensive, but it might give you some extra cash in the long run. +/- 100g is not worth scoffing over in the grand scheme of things, especially since the main source of income will come from battles.

disband some soldiers to cut expenses. Kill enemies/armies for loot and prisoners. If you have tournaments in the area, participate. If you haven't already, build enterprises all over the world.

Hmm... check and see if you've sent them to gather right to rule. Where do they go missing from?
@@oguzakdeniz809 Donno what that is about. I've checked some forums and it states on some that it is due to renown loss, but I think it is a bug. You either keep playing and hope they reappear, or restart your playthrough.
Kind of weird that the Kuu-lan has a "Ataman" unit, because Ataman was a title for a slavic general, not exactly, but the closest i can compare without just saying ataman. And Kuu-lan overall seems like the complete opposite of slavs. Just some fun useless data to waste your time

The opponents are ridiculously difficult to kill. Infantry in this mod is SUPER fast. Very nice graphics but balance is severely lacking!
Has your opinion on the 10 Trade at Level 1 character changed since caravan runs were introduced? The mark ups are determined only by your individual trading skill, so Fazyl cannot help you out, and you can easily get over 100k aurems from a single haul.
I feel like you can get an amazing amount of money with caravans regardless of your trade stat. You just need a capable party to handle itself against the minor factions that you won't be able to outrun on your caravan travels.
How to conquer castle when you solo ? Please help. Did you set the troop count to max or min ?
So what is the meta for field battle and what is for siege? Catergory I meant(infantry, archer, or cavalry)?
Depends on the faction that you are playing with, you play to their strength, but it is know that fast infantry works best in sieges, while archers dominate the fields.

Can anybody explain how acres and land work in a fief? I've looked all over online but can't seem to find anything. And I don't think it's mentioned in the video. Massive thanks to anyone who can explain :)
You buy land, it produces money. You have to collect money every two weeks. It explains there in the menu if you read it. I recommend that you buy land in the city in which you will spend a lot of time. Do not buy land everywhere since you have to manually be there and collect the money.

So I'm getting to the point where I feel I can break off and start a faction, playing as a vassal of Elintor but I really dont wanna instantly be at war with them just to have a free castle. Any recommendations on getting a castle easily? Tried to take Panmandot and I just get destroyed (fighting with a 150 man army against a 500 garrison)
I recommend that you gather more troops. Try to reach an army size of at least 200.
I got it taken eventually had to siege it 4 or 5 times, first few times was just taking out all the archers then I just sat back and let my elves shoot at the shield wall for a while

It never happened to me. Try deleting and reinstalling the mod or reinstall the game itself if that doesn't fix it if you have the patience.
@@HitPointInnGaming I found the source of the problem: It looks like if you have the game in a different language the text doesn't appear as it should, also changing the game in english will fix the problem with the "Reputation type" in case someone is not able to see it.

It is not as stable or polished as PoP, but if you want a fresh world, go for it. And yes, you have a custom troop tree in Perisno.

Infantry, I'd say Dwarves, elves for archers, but in the current patch, the Perisno cultured troops are the strongest in the game.
Can anybody say why my custom cavalry not using secondary weapons after lances? In close combat they still use them and not swords on maces i gave them.

The AI is dumb. Try to order them to use blunt only.

That completely destroys cavalry tactics in the mod. Lancers are not useful at all. Only if dismounted, my cav use secondary weapon.

The zann envaded and took out most of Elentoria and we only have 2 towns and 1 castle what do i do bechause i cant fight back the garisons have over 700 troops and when they atack a castle or town its 3 or 4k troops
You can actually fight and hold that. Give it a shot.

How do you join an army? Ive read thats a good start but no lords seem to have that option
Talk with a lord and see if there is an enlist option. The feature might be turned off from the camp menu options.
@@HitPointInnGaming Freelancer is disabled in the latest version (0.99) because it causes a bug that sets your captured flag to be permanently on, meaning you can't receive fiefs ever. You can manually enable it but if you join a lord's army and that army gets defeated with you in it, it will break your game.

As of r n i have a 40 man early army and I can hold like 12 prisoners and have 1 or 2 points into prisoner management will it grow with the size of my army like VC and it is just alot less of an increase to how many prisoners you can hold?

It happens. The Zann are not capable of conquering the entire continent. They would spread themselves out too thin. Even if they take fiefs deep in continent territory, they can't hold it because of the small number of lords the factions has.

I don't remember how. It's been a few years. Maybe talk with the minister in your capital/fief. Check in the camp menus? There is also a possibility that you can't.

@@pratikgautam3109 Kaikoth have the best infantry. You can even use Elintor against Elintor. You just have to defeat them quickly and recruit more Elintor than they desert.

Any tips?
Invest in pathfinding so you won't be caught. Grab only soldiers from the Best troops section of the video and choose your fights carefully. Keep an eye out for fights that have a lot of prisoners, you can jump in and save them for yourself.

There is no way to turn this off. Simply invest in your Persuasion and the relation limit will lower.

Is there anyway to make your troops stfu? They repeat the same thing every 5 seconds from all directions. Honestly making me want to go back to PoP or try a new mod.

It is worth buying in the cities you directly own. That way, you will be sure they will not fall into enemy hands.
