Wonderful video. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for uploading it.
Whenever you develop a website or app one of the major considerations is the cost of hosting. The method shown here means you can avoid paying the costs of a cloud computing platform completely, such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. Yes, those companies do offer free trials for limited periods, but what happens when that period expires? The method shown here is very helpful indeed. If I had seen this video ten years ago, I suspect I might already be a dollar millionaire by now.
Bro im fullstack dev and host all my stuff on GCP and a little aws.
Im fascinated by the idea of building my own cloud im sure its complex as hell but im sure theres a business opportunity in there if i figure how it all works i already have software & devops done.
@kaypakaipa8559 it is not as hard as you think especially since you already have a lot of the skills.
I knew how to do it since ran ol era but I aint a millionaire yet but surely a golden nugget of knowlodoggo

thanks so much for this man, don't know why you don't have more subscribers
This is what I've been looking for thank you so much man
Hi, thanks for sharing this
There is one problem, your ISP will give you a dynamic IP address, so it could change.
So one way to solve that is to get a static IP from your ISP, and that will be expensive
The other way to have another router that acts as a DDNS router.
I want more of an explanation please.
Thank you for this video. However I think you forgot the part about setting inbound rules in the firewall to allow incoming connections. Cheers!
May be he doesn't have firewall for that ip
Thank you very much. Just the information I needed. You rock!!!

Thanks for the video, just a question, I just got a fiber plan from globe installed and I also have access to the modem, I tried using the old modem with this since they are using PPPOE it was quite easy the problem is that when it was upgraded to fiber it still uses PPPOE but it doesn't seem to work, I tried adding the IP from the PPPOE to my DNS A Record but it says its a private IP this is my first time getting this error. Do you have any tips on how to do a work around for this?
than you so much this is exactly what i needed
Thanks for the great video. so many other channels over complicate it.
This is great, would you need to change your IP each time you moved your laptop out of range of your router tho? Just curious
I just loved your video...and you are quiet funny
Thanks a lot pal
Thank you so much . I have learnt a lot
Thanks for your video!
What about if your router IP is dynamic and it is changing after every start up of your internet router?
Super efforts sir for us
This is gold!
Thanks so much now I have my home server dashboard
I'm new to this. So my question might be unheard of.
But instead of creating a NAS. Can I host a website from my laptop per say, and have it request login credentials and afterwards allow file transfer so I could store and retrieve files like a NAS.
Also can I use my laptop to store games and run them on my main computer since I don't want to rip out the only hard drive on the laptop since its usable.
I haven't found any help anywhere. Is it even possible.
thanks sir, for the only tutorial on this
Oh my days, this legendary bro.

You are my hero.
this might not be read but do you have any tutorial on how to handle SSL globally on this setup? thank you
thank you very much❤
You are awesome.
It would be great, If you could add, few things:
1. How to add a third party secure certificate. (We can do ours but then browser security will creates a problem).
2. Add details on what type of windows server one should buy and what will be licensing cost.
thank you so much
Thanks Man.
And thanks alot for Tutorial!
I have two websites - one I host myself and another hosted professionally. My website has better uptime than the professionally hosted website 😄 I use a battery backup and my pc is on 24/7.
Do you have SSL? If so, is it easy to set up?
I wonder if hosting your own site compromises SEO. Google might see it as a risky site.
