This OST combined with the story is what makes the Zero series so inspiring to me. Whenever I’m about to do something difficult in my life, this plays in my head.
Amen to that, the Zero series always had this atmosphere that no other Mega-series could replicate, Zero’s resting place, Dark Elf Elpizo’s reveal, the final Omega fight, and Falling Down playing over the final Zero 4 boss will never leave my brain
Just ordered the game myself. Played through all the classic MM's and the X series, but never touched the Zero series (and I really need my MM fix lol). Been hearing a lot about pits and spike deaths from this series, but sounds like a good challenge. Also, thanks for uploading the OSTs! Getting me pumped to play this collection.
Actually finished the series a few months ago - It was definitely a challenge, I'll give you that much. Found it interesting how the difficulty level seemed to decrease as the collection went on, but out of the series, I have to say the fourth was my favourite. In my opinion it was the one that went back closest to the MMX roots, with a few new added features (the weather factor was neat) to give it a fresh feel. Unfortunately the RPG-esque elements of the first three games (most notably the first one) didn't grab me. But overall, solid series. I feel your pain. My first MM game was MMX6. The struggle was real. Good chatting with you; best of luck in any and all future MM endeavours!
@@TheZeroSbr Speaking of that I still have my PS2 with all it's games and I recently bought component to hdmi converter for my new sony tv and it's blast to play on it. Also I have to fill the gap with something that isn't mega man while I wait for Zero/ZX Collection for the ps4 already have it pre-orderred
Ah... My favorite game franchise... It took some thinking to come down to it but I recently found out Megaman tops it for me. I played MMX5 when I was 5. A few years later I end up with MM StarForce (3 is awesome!!!), then eventually played a little MM Battle Network 4 (not enough... Too late now, my DS with Gameboy advance has jammed d-pad). A couple years after that, it was MMX Collection (I wish I had a damn ps2 right now, mine won't read memory cards, which is essential in playing MMX 1-3, and my dads doesn't work at all, it won't spin the disk anymore). And not too long ago, a Wii-U let me get MMZ (and a couples weeks ago, MMZ 2, screw you Phoenix you're the reason I have been kept from getting to the next set of missions, if you would just freaking die!!!)
I am the only one who thinks that Fefnir was the easiest to fight while Phantom was the hardest one? PD:I am still stuck with Copy X in his Seraph Form :V
The fight is easier if you attack him non-stop with triple rod from below and use the buster when he uses the fire trail. About half the difficulty, if you don't screw up in the first fight you'll probably win.
The only real knock that you can have against it was the lack of gaining skills from defeated bosses, but since this game gave you a total of four weapons and three elemental chips, AND the fact that this was a bold step in a new direction for the franchise, you can hardly blame it. I still prefer 3 slightly more because of the Secret Disks and improved Elf System.
This soundtrack has some sense of menace, but it gives me a feeling of melancholy and sadness because I interpret that it would reflect Zero's life throughout the entire X saga and tragedies like doubts throughout their existence.
Pokémon and Sonic Advance are some of those games with kick ass OSTs that you speak of. GBA is an era a lot of 2000s babies missed out on and I feel sorry for them. They started gaming during the DS era. How sad...

a trick : watch series at flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Eduardo Alvin Yup, have been watching on Flixzone} for months myself :)

That persistent echoing effect gives this track a more chilling flavor to it. It takes a good song from the GBA and brings it to the next level here.
Honnestly the Megaman Zero franchise as an all did an amazing job for soundtrack on GBA.
The trade-off is the bass from 0:07 on becoming barely audible.
The melody is a slightly altered rendition of Copy X's theme "X, The Legend". Some pretty good foreshadowing and build-up to the final confrontation.
That’s right!
Never thought of it like that. Neat.
This sounds MUCH better on the DS than the GBA.
Well no shit
I Love how this is the copy x theme sped up to foreshadow the final enemy you will face

MyMomThinksImCool It gets harder the better you preform. The bosses get new attacks.
MMZ4 was my least favorite, interestingly, which makes sense given how much I hate the PSX MMX games
@@EphemeralPseudonym Same, after how good Z3 was it was hard to finish Z4
Probably the best final stage theme out of the four games
One song you can definitely hear the improvement from GBA to DS
The 1st MMZ is still my favorite
I only notice now that "X, The Legend" is playing through the beginning of this theme
omg these reverberating echo is making my have an eargasm
Someone someone someone HAS TO SAMPLE THIS
Zero's running animation to the beat again.
I really miss this game. I wish i hadnt sold it. Too many memories
+Jesaun Howard Yeah dude, never sell video games, especially if you played them a lot. You WILL want to come back to them eventually.
Luckily Capcom is releasing the Zero and ZX collections
@@nmarrero357 He said that, like, 4 years ago... We don't know if he will be around to play it soon.

I was stuck too, took, me 8 tries...You have to focus so much on that fight, because the only problem is FIRE.
The fight is easier if you attack him non-stop with triple rod from below and use the buster when he uses the fire trail. About half the difficulty, if you don't screw up in the first fight you'll probably win.
False, Harpuia is the easiest.
Mega Metroid I know. he has a pretty easy attack pattern, i tried to said that Fefnir was easier to fight in my opinion
Harpuia is too easy
*Boss rush intensifies*

Mmmmmm the intro, that's good stuff.
This tune always reminds me of Billy Joel’s Pressure. Someone really needs to do that song in this soundfont.
This song gets in my head sometimes
i still have my mmz collection and my DSi XL
I still play it on my 3DS.
I also still have it in my nds
Same but i only beat it on normal because of the Zero/ZX Collection.
The gba had such potential for amazing music but only a handful of titles really pushed it as hard as the zero series did.

Music this inspirational should not be kept just on a Gameboy I swear
"silly copy X, you can't have drip..."
so epic ~*_*~
TFW you realise this is just Copy X's theme.
Imagine if they gave us x9 and not a mobile game
The baseline sounds so good but the main melody is such a letdown...
America in 2023
Not as good as enemy hall, but still great.
