I'd disagree with this being a SUPER happy song, but then again I guess there isn't much time for happiness in MMZ. As for Cinko's list... Esperanto, yes. Resistance... More tense than happy, to me. High Speed Lift... no. Sand Triangle... again, no. Starts off sounding like the stage is going to be a slog, then changes to a fast beat, but... not happy, no. Cannonball... are you high or something? That's not a happy song at all. That's a intense final battle theme. It's a good song, yes, one of the best of the series, but it's not a happy one. Intermission... it's somewhat cheery. Not as happy as this song, though. Intermission is just more relaxing than happy. Power Bomb... again, it's not a happy song. It's tense. It does have ONE bit that sounds super happy, but that's it, and it's not enough to make the whole song happy. Deep Blue... I have no clue what I would call this, but it's not happy. Final mark, D.
How do you figure that considering he's in the third set of bosses? Scrapped Beat, the Mini Boss theme, the Neo Arcadia stage and Blazin Flizard's themes are very lively.
@@AsAventurasdeGui I think Slippery Terrain CAN work if you know what youre doing... (cough cough X3 Devs) But most people dont know how to make it work... like the X3 Devs!
On my first playthrough of Z3 the fat pantheon dudes on the boards swinging like that caught me off guard and I ended up laughing because how weird they were and the sound they made
Glacier Le Cactank's judge form somehow reminds me Eggman. I think it was after watching the GreatClement's LP of the series that he stated both characters had similar appearance. I think he just shouted Eggman or something and it just stuck with me. Amazing soundtrack and somehow the Arctic stages in Megaman Zero have that relaxed feeling to them, unlike the Fire stages.
This song keeps me optimistic, hopeful for what's to come with it's mystic and wonderous melody. To feel the need to explore the unexplored, to see beyond what life has demonstrated for me, to live in my own universe of silence and joy. To not be judged or belittled by the oppressive mass of the world. To be free from stupid and play a melody of imagination and desire.
This and Wonder Panorama are in my top 10 ice level themes, close to the top actually on the fact that they don't fall on the usual tropes of chimes, woodwinds, and harp.
I have a very nostalgic feeling about this theme I remember every saturday I woke up early, took breakfast, and get on to play MMZ Good times, really good ones
As it seems nobody else has mentioned this yet. I'll do it. Zero Collection seems to fix a missing "Program Change" command in this song's sequence at the section in 1:17. Original MMZ3 continues to use the guitar lead sample from the previous section instead. I kind of liked how it sounded before, even if it was pretty likely a mistake. I'm not saying it's bad now (I may just be biased for the GBA OG), but that little sample difference made that specific part of the song stand out more, to other iterations of that section through the song at least. Similar minor differences are scattered through the entirety of ZC, some of them actually being newly introduced mistakes. Curse of Weil (from MMZ3 as well), for example, has a "hit" sample playing at an incorrect pitch (it's way higher than it should)
I love this stage, imagien yourselves going down from a snow mountain, riding some kind of... platforms... that go super-fast while you are killing all the enemies that bother you, and after some time, you change the platform while they're in movement.
There was a 15 minute extension by Ronaldowen, but he was flagged and terminated for musical copyright of multiple Mega Man tunes and more which I miss. T^T

@Blacktrick Ster I think Inarabbita and Foxtar are great bosses. Just use a bunch of charged fire shots at this guy as he slowly waddles towards you. You'd hafta stand there and let yourself be killed to lose to him. Cactank, Flizard and Staggroff are the three easiest and most boring bosses in the game. The two you mentioned are more challenging and fun to fight.

If Kenji Inafume had the freedom to do the games as he pleased without capcom, we would have better megaman games. - In the X games Zero was the original protagonist and not X, bur Capcom refuses. - In the Zero series, the "villain" was the original Mega Man X and not the copy. Capcom also refuses on that. And so on, with these changes, the games could be a lot more interesting.
+Francisco José Solórzano Q. Incorrect. It wasn't that Capcom refused on that in regards to X being the actual villain. Inafune had to change it cause Mega Man X6 had been greenlighted and developed without his knowledge, so he had to change the story to account for that.
Gotta feel for the man, he had to overcome the shadow of the entire legacy he himself built, and he failed. Hope he get the artist of the MMZ series to work for another title, cause the artist's designs were totally badass
One thing I have to disagree on with is the "more interesting" part for the X series - Zero in X was an edgelord who showed up now and again to act cool. I prefer the more flawed, but courageous and kind X.
I don't really think it would be better if X wasn't the protagonist of the X games. We'd lose the fun partner dynamic and contrast between X and Zero, with Zero being introduced as a powerful and cool hero to look up to. That and I prefer X's kinder and idealistic outlook to be on center stage there, as much as anything beyond fighting is, and for Zero to be more of a contrast. I'm also not a fan of the idea of X going evil in Megaman Zero: it just seems needlessly edgy in a setting that is already very dark and gritty. Plus X being out of the picture largely emphasizes how Zero feels like a relic of the past: a hero and a true maverick hunter in an age where both of those concepts have been corrupted. Albeit one with amnesia.
This song sounds lonely, hiding a deep sadness behind a strong facade.
