    I also own this SUV for the past 3 years and has been great. Good tech, very quick, and impressive for the price. The rear view camera failed and there is a recall on the fuel pump, all of which was covered under the fantastic 100,000km warranty. We are trading this year for the 2017, which expects to have some revisions in the overall look and added tech. I recommend a test drive.

    I like how the rear vents are located inside the pillars. Hopefully many cars will use this method. I'm not a fan of the rear console vents.

    I like how the other guy in the car is trying his best to stay hidden

    How did you pick it as the top family SUV with such an MPG?!

  • @brucec43
    @brucec43 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    The emphasis on fuel economy in this review is pretty absurd. 21 mpg vs 23 overall means about $200 a year in fuel costs (15,000 miles, $3.50/gal). Or about 2% of your annual operating and ownership costs.

    When you think of the current Hyundai Santa Fe/Santa Fe Sport and now the 2016 Kia Sorento, Which model do you think of first? The two row 4 cylinder engines (Regular or 2.0Turbo) or do you think of the 3 row V6 engine?

    I question is how reliable is the Hyundai turbo?

      Pretty reliable than some European cars I had in the past.

    I have a 2013 turbo 2WD with tech pkg, and I get 18 to 24 mpg combined and 25 to 31 mpg highway. Also, there is a big difference on the staring selections, I like the sport one, it is more stiff. I really like my car it has 44k miles and I haven't have any issues. The interior is very nice.

    Is there a panoramic sunproof for 2.4L FWD? Coz I really like that part though.

    I would put the Murano in the next class up for the most part. Maybe the lowest trim could be a competitor to this. Otherwise, I find the Murano a very luxurious crossover and would put it to the likes of a Lexus RX. (Having owned and RX)

    Other than the Mickey Mouse display and vent layout, the interior looks decent.

    Let me tell you my experience with my 2015 Santa fe sport 2.0T ultimate, the engine seize at 109,000, took it to the dealer and they wanted to change me $10,500 for a new engine, I didn't have that kind of money so i tow it home

    Hi. I purchased this suv recently. I have tried to turn off the Bluetooth from the vehicle but could not do it. In fact, I just follow the owner manual instructions. Any idea? Or any you tubers know how to do it? The reason why I'm trying to turn off the Bluetooth temporarily is because according to Sirius XM I couldn't receive its signal for the radio activation due to interference with the Bluetooth??? Thanks

    prefer the Ford's power tailgate feature with the foot waving underneath. the Santa Fe is kinda off... what if you are standing in the back of your SUV chatting.. the tail would open? thats stupid

      You can keep it from opening by unlocking the car as well. It only works if the car is locked.

    38K for a Hyundai? You got to be kidding me! What happened to the days of no payments for 3 months, and a sticker price in the range of 20K? I think a ring worm got in the brain of the automaker, making them shall we say..."delirious!" If I'm going to drop 38K, you better believe I'd buy an Acura, Infiniti or Lexus!

    • @Matake2007
      @Matake2007 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      gtmobayer and you'd be getting a lot less, and maintenance would cost more for the same price. You can't expect all this stuff for the same price as some 09' Hyundai, that's just unrealistic

    • @markg999
      @markg999 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah car prices in general are going up these days...even a used 15k car most seem to have over 85k miles.

  • @zachg9065

    And then you walk by the back of the car and the rear lift gate opens when you did not want it to.
