Sheep most likely have a bad case of worms , you need to deworm all of them not just the ones with the runs.

This is really off topic of this vid but i just wanna say thanks for all the info you put out, you learn and pass on, your fails and wins.
A few years ago now ingot chickens because of you mainly so i could put my chicken scraps to use instead of having them sitting in my bin for 2 weeks. Then because of you we started a carbonatious diaper for our chickens and in the autumn we would empty it out and put it on our boarders and what i mainly what to thank you for is the abundance of worms we now have because of the carbonatious diaper. We went from 1-4 fat slow earth worms per meter to about 200+ worms per sq meter we are over loaded, We love it, they love it and the chickens love it! The method has also changed our soil structure from heavy solid clay to light fluffy and workable. I know i dont comment often but i and i bet loads of others are copying and learning from you guys. Thanks and keep it up 🇬🇧

if you have had a second feeder sheep/lamb die it needs to go to the Vet's for an autopsy not put into the woods for the predators to eat - whatever it is you need to get onto it fast

Those ball valves on the containers are definitely worth saving. You can either use them or sell them. Just make sure you clean them well before using them! I’m a huge fan of reusing anything I can. My entire shop is built with cabinets that were salvaged from our local high school science lab. When the school district did their big remodel project, the contractors were just throwing out the old cabinets. My son, the teacher, asked if he could have those cabinets. The contractor was more than willing to let him empty their garbage dumpster of the cabinets, thus saving them money. He also salvaged multiple rolling cabinets from the project dumpster which are now repurposed as rolling carpentry tool stands and work stations. The shop was outfitted rather nicely for the cost of some sweat and a couple of gallons of gas!

You need ti install a “spring box”. It has a series of compartments (usually 3) that allows the sediment to settle to the bottom of the compartments. They should be in line to slow the flow enough or be long enough for sediment to drop to the bottom of each successive compartment. These need to be cleaned regularly but keeps the sediment out of the usable system

Too bad you've lost two sheep recently. It's good you gave the sheep shaw to the feeder sheep. Henry was cute putting minerals in the sheep shaw. I'm glad you checked your spring water supply. That was a ton of sediment! I'm glad you cleaned that all out. Nice, using IBC totes for storing fire wood like Doug of "Off Grid with Doug and Stacy" does. Yes, don't eat that! The interesting fact is... humans have the ability to cultivate old-growth conditions in ancient OR recently-logged forests, through selective harvests, IF they so choose. Research the spotted-owl vs barred-owl controversy on the west coast during the last half-century.
The fact is, trees grow like carrots, and can be thinned for the same reasons. If you don't thin your trees, Mother Nature will do it for you.

In Spring they are surrounded by young black locust that can be transplanted and grown for future fencing and projects.
