    Justin, you need to buy the service and parts manuals for all the equipment you own. They are worth their weight in gold, especially since your oldest son seems mechanically inclined. He just needs time to learn, and those service manuals are very indepth. Highly recommend for such an expensive investment and such a crucial farm tool.

    Pro tip: shut the engine down on the skid steer or that of any hydraulic unit and the move the controls back and forth for the circuit that you are going to hook up this will discharge any pressure in the system it will make a world of difference hooking up the fittings on your attachments

      But do they have time and energy to real learning? Not just how to work on farm, but for their future education? What about collage? Another work outside the farm? What about relationships with other children of same age? What about socialization? Developing first romantic relationships? Yes, they are core working force on this farm, but they are still young children. And like Josiah once said - I don't know, I had no choice (about why he went to elevated farm and work there) - and it is very sad from not even true teenager.

  • @jacquicoder7160
    @jacquicoder7160 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    This video had so much good content, I wish it hadn't been quite so chaotic so i could have followed it better. But it sure did show how all of those children are hard working, smart and willing to do whatever they are asked to do. Kudos to Jonah and Josiah for working during their playtime to make it easier to get the next big project done. I think we found another strong point for Jonah - that boy knows how to fell some big trees. Lily is definitely the one who can hold down the domestic side of the homestead and she is smart enough to get her own YT channel going.

    I watch your vlog for a couple of reasons. One is that you live in my old neck o' the woods. Another, is that I love animals and although it's far past the time that I would want to start an adventure such as yours, if I were 20, or 30, I could see it. The main reason I watch your channel though is that I'm so impressed with your kids. They're wonderful but I know that kids would not wonderful without such awesome parents. And you know what awesome kids raise? Awesome grandkids. You two are totally rocking this parenting thing and I applaud you both. Bravo!
    And BTW, I was operating heavy equipment when I was 18. It won't hurt Lilly to know how.
    I'm also very glad the mullets were short lived.
    Finally, it's great if you can get 10' out of a tree but it would be better if you can get logs in 8' 12' and 16' lengths. More useable.

    Locust are hardest to grow because in first year or 2 the roots go DOWN at 10 feet. You grow licust trees in like 6-7 feet of pipe instead of buckets. I hope you plant some back. Locust are so strong and go deep they are great to prevent erosion and wont fall on mountain side like other trees.

Now add an artist, and very articulate in explaining the steps in drawing a horse. Get this channel out there. You ll have your own following and can use your income to finance the care of your horse!! Use your horse - video lessons in how to care for a horse, how to saddle, etc, how to ride, the vet aspect of a horse - this will grow your channel which will relate to more money to put towards the things you need when you have a horse! You are an entrepreneur in the making!!

    I have husqvarna saws too and it seems you really have to leave it idle for a minute when you first start it to let it warm up otherwise they don’t want to run

    1/2 to 1 gallon jar. Fill half way with cream and shake shake shake. Ask Mr Google pants where you add fluid.

    You could be getting air in your hydraulic lines. Trapped air in hydraulic systems can adversely impact performance because air is compressible and hydraulic fluid is not.

      She'll get a horse, she 100% deserves and works her little tail off. It's clearly not a passing interest for her, the is a "horse girl" through and through. Justin, we're being patient, but we NEED the "Lilly's horse" video, we all can't wait to see her face when she gets it! :)

    It is rice dust and starch that is coming off the rice. not dirt. If you give a light rinse you get rice that is stickier, if you wash till clear is is loose grains.
