I use to take my Cue to bed and Wed snuggle' knowing the next day I WOULD run a Ton OR a BIG Run, I could NOT walk that last block to the HALL it was wide OPen running 1 day OUT of the blue some guy told me I was GOING to be our TOWNS best player' it was BECAUSE he seen me at the door waiting 4 the SnooKer hall to open. man it was Fun at times in those early days, my 1st game EVER I was either 44 OR 48 in the hole when ALL was said and then BUT I never QUIT.

I just watched Reanne Evans taking an hour and 40 minutes to beat Jimmy 3-1. The standard from both was just terrible, and I fast forwarded through an hour of it. It’s a shame as I believe Jimmy to be the best player not to win the world title. He just didn’t have the mental fortitude for the world title and spent far too much time worrying about his hair loss.

Jimmy at his peak would hit 9 balls right in the middle of the pocket and then miss a sitter
the exhibition style of playing build up the adrenalized bloodstream up to a point where sometimes you get brain spasm hahaha i always played that way clearing tables with banks and kicks only to miss on the easiest 8 ball or 9 ball.

Jimmy didn't have the rub of the green in this match but there were further signs of his slide. The poor safety shot in the first frame that led to Trump's break is typical; Jimmy decided to clip off the pack and head back to baulk, but after checking where the reds would go in the bunch he seemed to completely ignore the fact there were already potable long reds on the other side. Against a player of Trump's calibre those sorts of mistakes are unforgivable.
Judd has the best break in the business!

Apparently when his hair started receding he tried to do some form of hair transplant but it was a kind of dodgy surgery and the transplant didn't take but left him with some ugly scars on his head so he started wearing a wig. But I agree that there has to be something better than this.

Against Trump, if you play a defensive shot, it has to be spot-on, otherwise Trump is in .. scores ... wins.
Yes Jimmy's safety shot that led to the break in Frame 1 was especially poor. He didn't even bother to look at the long reds that were already on over to the left, before sending the cue ball back to the baulk end. In the old days Jimmy would never have been that sloppy. Despite is reputation as an attacking player, in his heyday he was actually very good at safety.
why did Jimmy not take the red to middle ???
Because the angle on it would only let him go for the black but the black didn't pot. Had he missed the red also, he would have left the easiest opportunity possible for Judd as well.

Big improvement there from Trump over his first match with the female. Struggled there did White, the balls didn't do him any favours either.
I think its time Jimmy called it a day personally, get out of the game with some level of dignity and integrity before he starts losing to rubbish players, maintain his legacy and what he has given to the game over the years, his game is deteriorating every time I watch him, its sad to see. If he cant beat the female in his group, hang your cue up mate.
