For all the lowkey matches we've seen recently, I think an intense decider like this in a big tournament like this was refreshing to see.
Ali is one of the best players out there that never seems to get the results he deserves.
I dunno, he is one of the best in the world, but I wouldn't say his ability is far enough up there to have warranted winning more than he has. This season, especially the past several tournaments, he has played phenomenally well though. If he played like that all the time then I'd agree.

For me, Ali has not enough skills to reach the top, just by the way u see judd snookered him a few times and he missed those shots, it explains why he can't be on the top, if judd was in his form, Ali would never stand a chance against him, yes he is a great player, but his level has not supporting him enough to be the top player yet, at least not now

Ah! Mr Carter seems 'see' - and I'm serious - to see a ball going into a pocket before it actually does,, it is in his eyes. And to prove it he seems to stand up and start moving to where he will start his next shot before the ball has even reached he pocket. Perfectly logical when one thinks about it. J.

Trump had many chances to win the final frame but don't know what happened to his game, either pressure got the best of him or it wasn't his day. Disappointed from Trump but still it was a good fight till the end from Carter as well.

Two reasons:
1- A miss cannot be called if the opponent is snookered(not enough points on the table).
2- Judd couldn’t hit the brown on the either side of it hence it’s a free ball.
It is a miss, and he can see the brown full ball, so none of "foul" and "free ball" makes sense to me
