    This is so helpful, i searched for so long for fuse to pull out, but now I see that i don't have to anymore. Big thanks!

    Definitely helps. Saved me a ton of time wondering whether or not to pry behind certain panels was my main worry. Thanks for the video and advice!

    This was so helpful, thank you! I already had my front cam installed but had to run the wiring for the rear. Particularly your insight about where to store the excess wire was incredibly helpful and saved me SO much time. 🙏

    This video was super helpful locating the exact fuses, as I literally copied yours and it worked!! Thanks 👍🏼

    The A pillar and the rear rubber boot were the worst parts for sure. I managed to get a wire through the rubber boot without unclipping the plastic using a fiberglass fish tape first.

    What did you do with those broken tabs in the back trunk? I used a trim tool and they still broke, I don't want water to start leaking through there

    How did you route the power down the A pillar? Did you go against the windshield or around the airbag like the rear channel, then back down?
    The rest was super helpful. Thanks!

      @ThisIsInput  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I routed the power behind the airbag like the rear channel and then down the a-pillar and into the fuse box.

    Did you disconnect the battery before removing the pillars due to the airbags? My newest vehicle before my 2024 MK8 is a 2002 f150 so ive never worried about airbags when removing trim before now 😂

      No need to disconnect the battery unless you want to.

      @@ThisIsInput Thanks, I just routed my rear wire today. Don't know why, but I had assumed the airbag was like, directly attached to the trim. Now I see that's obviously not the case. Thanks again!

    How do you get the left panel off to the left of the fuse box?

    the fuse on the mini adpater is 5? I have “3” fuse, will it work?

    I'm about to attempt to install this myself after being a victim of a hit-and-run. May I ask which fuse taps you bought and if the connectors are different for F22 and F62? I'm about to buy the Viofo 4pk and it comes with 4 different connectors. TIA!

      Connectors are the same. Any ATM mini fuse taps work. I think I got a 6 pack on eBay for a few bucks.

      @@ThisIsInput Thanks for the info! I finally tackled the install today. It was impossible to unclip the grommet on the hatch without breaking it haha. I ended up breaking both clips 😅. Hopefully that won't really affect anything.

    Where did you put the ground wire? I am trying to find where i can put. I have Blackvue DR900X.

    • @ThisIsInput
      @ThisIsInput  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Attach the ground to any metal component in the car. Use a ring or fork connector and remove (or loosen if using a fork) an existing bolt and then tighten it back up.
      I picked a small bolt near the fuse box.
