A very generous reading to Niji would be that Japanese companies DO have a lot of extra restrictions and red tape to deal with that Canadian indies don't have. The correct reading probably is that even with those hurdles, companies would have been lining up equally to sponsor Selen, but other Niji livers with more pull (and a direct reason to not allow other talents money that they couldn't touch) and management that didn't like dealing with Selen were bigger obstacles than any Japanese law.

When you manage to make such a horrendous PR blunder that EA OF ALL GAME CORPOS can use it for their own PR gains, you know you done and effed up. I will be very doubtful Niji EN (At minimum) will be ever able to get GAMER related Sponsored Streams for the foreseeable future. Losing Selen/Doki wasn't JUST a PR disaster, it was also their worst hit to the availability in possible Sponsors.

Not really. They got motherfucking *henya* to join. Henya saying "i love this place" is basically like the reviewers for the michelin guide giving a restaurant the fourth michelin star. Also, matara and kuro and now michi saying "wow, nijisanji fucking sucked, here i get amazing managers that care about me and i get offered so many opportunities and i can take things at my own pace and so many other reasons why vshojo is great", which certainly helped. I think veibae, nyanners and silvervale leaving was really not as important as those others joining in terms of vshojo's popularity. They were controversial, but not universally hated, meanwhile henya is universally loved and also the others are really well liked too.

I imagine this is pretty obvious but Dokibird is likely getting a decent proportion of the sponsors and deals in droves because of the drama associated with her leaving, it's basically Free good PR for anyone that isn't Nijisanji, in addition to large amounts of attention so why wouldn't they? The likelyhood of said company being blacklisted by Nijisanji because of their association with Dokibird is negligable, assuming the company hasn't themselves blacklisted Nijisanji as a result of the incident.
I also think that since so far, Most Sponsorships are related to GAMER products (Games, Hardware or Supplements), and Niji CLEARLY has no other BIG NAME Liver on that field, to them, it makes ZERO SENSE to keep Niji as an Option, especially when their Reputation was OBLITERATED BY THEIR OWN ACTIONS, and Doki has shown to have a SOLID network with other famous Gamers and Streamers that play on the competitive or high skill side. Siding with Niji when things were THAT HEATES AGAINST them would he stupid, even if Niji blacklists them and try to deny them their 200+ Livers that can reach so far, It would still be Niji's L, more so as the Q4 and above start coming, imagine trying to avoid talking about the odd massive Loss of Large Western Sponsors when expanding to the EN and Global market should be their priority.

I also think that since so far, Most Sponsorships are related to GAMER products (Games, Hardware or Supplements), and Niji CLEARLY has no other BIG NAME Liver on that field, to them, it makes ZERO SENSE to keep Niji as an Option, especially when their Reputation was OBLITERATED BY THEIR OWN ACTIONS, and Doki has shown to have a SOLID network with other famous Gamers and Streamers that play on the competitive or high skill side.
