when Nina talked on-stream about getting called 'old' for streaming, I had my suspicions.
I was sad when Nina/Matara left niji but after looking into it more I realized that she jumped out of a sinking ship hoping that others realized it a do the same even if there are no lifeboat underneath.
Nina exited a toxic environment and I applaud her for that.

Unless we go by the joke that Elira is definitely the head management of NijiEN, Rosemi is just as much at risk here at being shut down like Selen and Pomu had even if she is part of Elira's gang.
Heck, Niji wouldn't even care it's the literal director of Tekken, Selen's video was shut down even after Lily publicly gave the go-ahead for Selen to use her video, Niji has no shame in saying no to Rosemi in front of millions.
Also while I don't know much about Niji lore, this video makes it seem like everything that happened to Selen was because Elira was a jealous narcissist, she'd probably shut down Rosemi for getting too popular or smth thanks Harada.

Has anyone else noticed how bad Niji Talents models are? I've only recently noticed but the average indie and small corpo tuber with less than 1K CCV have way better models and tracking.
I recently looked at Niji talent out of curiosity and was stunned by how bad the tracking is for most of them, they look like cardboard cut outs.
Parrot, your videos are the main catalyst for me falling down the Vtuber rabbit hole and even though it's barely been 2 months I have realised that now know way more of the deeper lore than most fans...
It's actually insane how bad Niji is. I watched a clip of Pippa where she talked about how Sakana flew a manager out to Pippas city to hold her hand through the entire process of organising her life and getting a passport so she could travel with the company.

Multiple talent have talked about how Sakana is willing to negotiate and they have their contracts explained to them and they have different terms based on what they want.
Dizzy said she only came back to Vtubing because she loved phase and wanted to work there.
There one terminated talent allegedly stole money and was eliciting direct donations. Phase didn't say anything specific or make any allegations they just said multiple contact breaches and that they were unable to come to an agreement. The recent drama they had seemed to be a complex issue and they didn't throw the talent under the bus.
I don't know that much about holo but it seems they're reasonably good and actually invest in their talent.
I am not a fan of Vshojo but they are probably the most generous to their talent and the issues there are more with some of the shitty people as talent and cliques but given the greater level of autonomy I can't blame management broadly

If I had to guess I’d say most people’s problem with it was the implication(s) they got from it rather than the statement itself. Exactly what implications they got I could only pray to grasp but it could be they felt he was saying everyone there gets/has plastic surgery.

Of influencers that I've seen talk about their plastic surgery, about half say they flew to korea to have the procedure done.
