I finally did it, finished the whole game on Perfect Agent. Watched your videos the whole way though. Didn't think I could do it but it was an amazing experience!
I remember me and my brother would play the shit out of this level and most of them time we would just let our allies do the work and kill them. It was hours of enjoyment.
Attack ship on perfect agent is "playable" once you know where to take cover and how to manage your health at the beginning of the level. Carrington Institute on perfect agent is also playable once you know you way, where to run, and which objectives are priority. Even Maian SOS gets easy once you develop some strategies, since you can die with just a few shots. NOW, WAR! IS UTTERLY INSANE. You just die, cry and repeat. I swear, this level on perfect agent makes Goldeneye's Aztec a walk in the park, hehehe Good job, Graslu. As always!
I used to love this game, there is actually a glitch in this level I discovered playing it on the N64 and it’s how I passed the level! At the start If u rush to the door that takes you to the second Skeddar king before it closes and locks u can kill Skedar King 2 and 3 without issue because they are completely frozen because you havnt killed skedar king 1 yet and no enemies generate at this point because of that as well! It seems the level loads in seperate parts of when u kill the skedar kings in order but yeah the other 2 Kings just stand there completely sedentary even when u are shooting them lol
this is not true, because not mater how fast you run to the doors they are always locked until you kill 1st King, I even try with cheats and they are still locked.
@@silvereloking6149 there are some skeddars that will open the doors from the other side there is a particular way u hav to do it I can’t remember the exact pattern tho
It doesn't really matter if we are being honest here. there is no reward for beating this mission or the other side mission stories. But the strategy here is honestly kill the 1 king first, then run into the 3rd kings room then kill the 2nd then GG, dont be afraid to take cover behind your allies. they are expendable and you have a supply of 40/50 of them i think
Mauler the first king in the face with a C/U shot. The other two are much weaker for some reason. Also, just run past the Skedar since they spawn infinitely.
use the secondary fire mode on the Pheonix - 2 shots will kill a skedar. be careful to swap to mauler (also secondary fire mode) when your buddies are close otherwise they will run into the flames of the pheonix. try to keep moving (with your buddies) and dont get bogged down cause the enemies constantly respawn. you are right this is a very difficult mission, but once you get passed the first king its not super hard
I always found it really hard to reliably kill the Skedars. Sometimes they just stand there like "lol no I am not dying" and nothing seems to happen until I have fired like a million shots.
Trying to hit a target with the Mauler's secondary fire while playing Perfect Agent difficulty using the N64 controller was impossible. It's primary automatic fire was ineffective against the Skedar, and you didn't have the ammo to spray and pray.
@Derangedxzombie Not a dumb comment. This level has mostly short corridors, so it's not that hard to aim. Skedars have huge heads too. In the few long corridors, you can switch to phoenix for area effect.
I read your description. Actually this mission suggests that this is after the Skedar Ruins - Battle Shrine. Elvis told Joanna that the Maian fleet were going to bombard the place and she almost dies at the end of the game. If my memory serves me correctly the mission briefing says that the bombardments has stopped and the Maians are sending their forces in to take out the rest of the Skedar and I think it says that you have to eliminate the Skedar Kings who are clones of the leader that Joanna killed in the Skedar Ruins. As for the other bonus levels I think it's obvious where you can place them when in the main story - they don't have Joanna she's somewhere else at the time - apart from the Duel. That suggests that takes place before the first level dataDyne Central.
Yeah Mr Blonde's Revenge and SOS Maian are easy to place on the story of the game, but this one seems like a simple bonus mission as the mission itself aside the briefing doesn't really show much. I'll take a look at the briefing later, I completely forgot about what it said and you may be right.
Yeah just checked it out and you're right, I forgot by the time of this video but the briefing clearly states they're clones after the bombardment ceased.
The hole in the wall at the beginning, exactly in the shape of Joana's blast in the previous mission, suggests that this is indeed a clean-up mission :p
Completed all missions on perfect agent on the new PC port on Steamdeck with gyro, it's an awesome game on the steam deck! Had the game as a kid on N64 and for the life of me I couldn't do it on Perfect Agent, thanks for all the video tutorials, they were a great help!

Damn, I logged weeks of gameplay (not eve counting all the aborted rounds/missions) on this game as a teenager and never knew about this mission. It would make for a great multiplayer arena.
It's the only way to get their weapons. There is no swap weapons with your allies function in this game, and typically your allies are fucking useless with their guns anyway. Your ally AI does one of two things: walk right into your line of fire while you are shooting, thus dying, or being easily picked off by the enemy because your allies are squishy and react only when they are attacked first.
Graslu00 hey man did you unlock all guns in solo because i have every cheat in game except for that. is there a point to have all guns in solo since the dont give you the epic gun the slayer
It's situational. Sometimes no autoaim will make headshots easier as the body doesn't have a magnet bringing your aim down, specially against Skedars. The game is hard nevertheless.
A quick Google search should give you the rom, as for the emulator, I'm using a modifed 1964 emulator that lets you use mouse and keyboard and play at 60fps. If you're interested, I can send you a download link.
Graslu00 I tried downloading a rom for the game, but I decided to delete it since it was not a proper rom for my Project64 emulator. Also, it is potentially a risk for my computer. I could really used an emulator like that for Goldeneye. What is your preferred control scheme for both this and Goldeneye?
Graslu00 I tried to play Goldeneye on the 1964 emulator, but I keep getting the *"A4000060: Exception in emulation thread"* error message. Have you ever encountered the same problem?
***** No I didn't, I recommend trying to re-install the emulator. Does it happen with other emulators or plugin settings? What version of GoldenEye are you using? (USA, EU, etc)
I don’t understand how you flew through this level so quickly without getting hit and killing those Skedar kings so quickly on the hardest difficulty. It looked like you were cheating somehow

well maybe Miaian Command should've armed us with a Calisto then.

It turns out the Skedar's faulty doors are a type of defense mechanism. It allowed them to kill the Maian at 1:23 - poor guy.

I use the explosive bullets of the Phoenix for crowd control, when 3 or 4 Skedars gather in the same place.
