In this video I use for the first time an Earthway Seeder to make planting the garden at the TNT Farm a whole lot easier than doing it by hand. I also ordered the linked additional seed discs, because I had some popcorn to plant as well. If you have been planting seeds by hand, in any garden of any size to it at all, I would recommend any seeder, however the Earthway, even though on the lower end of the price scale for seeders worked a treat for me. Great for any aging gardeners out there like myself or someone getting into homesteading etc.

We bought a precision planter back in the 70’s, which looks just like your earthway. We have used it every year since and it does a remarkable job. For large seeds I adjust the blade down to get better coverage. You’ll like the results.

I’m just excited about not crawling around to plant. That will be a theme this summer. Got me a gadget to make weeding easier on the back and knees to try out as well.

    Nice deal!
Sounded like there was only 83 pea seeds that fell into the seeder.

I don't think their was even 100 seeds. It will be interesting to see the spacing in a week or two.

Hopefully will find out this week. Supposed to rain every day, and I really need to get in there and pull weeds.

The seed spacing is WAAAAY to close, I used epoxy to close every other hole on most discs.

Great advice. And I will likely borrow that from you for next year. The peas are starting to pop through the soil now and from what I see I would agree with you. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, very much appreciated.
