    Is the toe box wider with the 24s? Had a hard time with how narrow the 23s were even when buying E(wide)

      A little bit maybe but nothing too drastic to be honest, so I think you may find it feeling very similar unfortunately :( Maybe look at something liek the Altra Experience Form, and wait for the newer Topo Aura that will be released early 2025 which both have a much more generous toe box, but with added guide rail type support like the GTS. I hope this helps!

    Adrenaline GTS 23 vs 24 Mens shoe - is the 24 a bit narrower width at the forefoot than the 23?
    Long tem Brooks wearer here. Walking and light hiking in them rather than running. Went from Trance series to Glycerin, to Glycerin GTS. All in 10.5US D-width. I am thinking of switching to Adrenaline 23 or 24 for slightly firmer cushioning, and a little less instability feel. Not looking to go to the Beast, as last time I tried them, it felt like a pair of wooden boards strapped to my feet. So, not looking for a radical change, just slightly firmer cushioning. Thoughts?
    (I wear aftermarket insoles for arch support and added stability. )

      Hi, great question, thanks for taking the time to watch the video too. I think if you're going from the Glycerin GTS 21 to the Adrenaline GTS 24, there's not a massive difference if any, in the cushioning, there's just more of it in the Glycerin. (and GTS), which sounds like it would take away that feeling of instability, almost having too much midsole! Yes, the Beast is well, a beast!! it's not something we stock here, for that very reason !!
      Width wise, I think if anything it's a little more spacious in the forefoot that the previous version though, closer to the fit of the glcyerin now with this latest release. I hope this helps!! Paul

    I have plantar fasciitis and the ghost 16 where a huge improvement for me with respect to the sneakers i was wearing, so i think i will be trying the adrenaline 24 gts too! Not the 23s from what i have read...

    do you think the GTS 24 is good for a marathon? I invested into some carbon plated shoes, but my GTS 23 feels so much better and more comfortable. I have very flat feet so i think the guided rail really helps.

    • @SoleMateRunning
      @SoleMateRunning  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @bnutritiousmeals hey, absolutely it is, the midsole on the 24 is A LOT more plush than the GTS 23. The other option you have in the Glycerin GTS 21 (or soon to be released v22), which would give you extra cushioning. If you do have flat feet, you'll likely need that extra support and most carbon plated super shoes give you nothing / hardly anything, above the midsole.fet also depends on your time or pace. We go with the approach of if you're taking longer than 3hr for a marathon, the super shoes will not really benefit you and do more harm than good. Hope this helps!

    I had Adrenaline 19, 20 and 21. Loved the 19 and 20 but the 21 seemed to have a huge bump under my arches. I couldn't wear them and gave them away after 30 miles. I'd love to come back to them if they were like the old feel. Any idea how they compare to the 19,20 and 21? Great vid and shop by the way. Popped up for a look a few weeks ago. Definitely a go to place when you need kit. Thanks.

      @Andy_7Ps hi Andy, and thanks for the comment and for visiting us! I've never tried the gts 21 but it did have guide rails, maybe they firmed it up a bit too much! I haven't noticed anything trying this version on, but you're more than welcome to come and try it on with us. You know where we are now :)

    Hello again so I just did have that one more question you told me about the adrenaline GTS but I did ask about the aerial GTS 23s do you think they’re as good as the adrenaline GTS if you got back with me I apologize I didn’t see it thank you again

    • @SoleMateRunning
      @SoleMateRunning  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @watchmoivies123 hey, no worries. Adrenaline vs ariel, the aerial is as good if you need the additional support, over and above what the adrenaline gives. The aerial is a lot former due to the amount of firmer midsole used for the guiderails. As its an older revision of aerial (v23) vs the adrenaline 24, it will be even more firm as the midsole has been updated on the adrenaline gts 24. So for comfort, adrenaline gts 24 all the way!! But it does depend on how much support you need.

  • @watchmoivies123

    So I have a wide foot and plantar fascia I’m sorry I might be saying it wrong but you probably know what I’m saying. It’s in the heel of my foot that has pain but I’m toss between the Brooks guide rails and the Brooks adrenaline 24s which shoe do you feel best for somebody that has a wider foot and plantar Fantasia
    I do walk every day so I wanna make sure I have a good shoe thank you very much

    • @SoleMateRunning
      @SoleMateRunning  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @watchmoivies123 hi, thank you for the question. Brooks guiderails is the technology that is in the brooks adrenaline gts to make it more stable and supportive. Do you mean the Saucony guide? As far as know there's no shoe called Brooks guiderails. If you did mean the Saucony Ride then I would go for the Brooks Adrenaline GTS because of the higher heel to toe drop, which would reduce pressure on the heel and achilles, which will help with the Plantar Fascia issues you're having.
      In terms of width of your foot, obviously I haven't seen it, but you may need to go to a wide fit (2e width) or an extra wide (4e width) but you'd need to find what is comfortable for you. Make sure you're not tight against the side of your shoe as once you start running or walking and your feet swell it's very likely it will rub an cause discomfort and possibly blisters. I hope this helps

      Good morning, so I’m looking on the other side of the shoe and it says ARIEL GTS and what’s the difference between the adrenaline and these thank you very much

    • @SoleMateRunning
      @SoleMateRunning  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@watchmoivies123 Ah ok, so the Ariel (for women) and the Beast (for men) are also supportive shoes in the Brooks range, depending on the version you have (ie, the number) it may have an older midsole so could potentially be a firmer foam and not Nitrogen injected. the version 24 in the Ariel, Beast and Adrenaline have the new lighter, more responsive midsole (DNA Loft v3). The difference regardless of version is the Ariel / Beast will be firmer to it's Adrenaline counterpart and be more stable/firm, especially around the forefoot, where I talk about the flexibility grooves on the adrenaline. It uses more "guide rail". It'll be a similar heel to toe drop too, 10-12mm depending on version.

      @KrisWard-xs2pr I've not tried the 22, but I wasn't impressed with then 23 either. I dont need the added stability but we try all the shoes, and I actually prefer the 24 to the Ghost 16. Same midsole, but just so much nicer on fit, feel, and to run in. It's worth trying on if you're near somewhere that stocks it

      I disliked the 22s as well because they felt more narrow and less cushion than the 21s.
