Port FC vs Police Tero- Home Opener August 18, 2023

In this video we take a look at opening night for opening night of the 2023-24 football season. Port FC hosts cross town rivals Police Tero in their first home game of the season.
Port started the season on the road and ended with a 2-2 draw against Nakhon Prathom.
Port has made many changes to the lineup and they have high expectations for the upcoming season after a 3rd place finish last year. We will also see the home fans at around 100% of capacity. The super fans playing the drums and cheering make it a great atmosphere.

The fans really make going to a Thai football game. During the lockdowns they had no fans and then 25%. If you want to see what a difference fans make here is a video during the restrictions.

I was there , the top of zone b (at the middle) . nice to see you guy! I have been Port fan more than 10 years , and Madam Pang era is less fun for cheering Thai port , frankly speaking. The atmosphere is still great but not past moment! anyway hope to see you around next match !

So what happens if there's a big downpour? I don't imagine they postpone games because of waterlogged pitch if the season starts during rainy season.

Buying at Port is great but i wish the majority of Thai fans wouldnt show such blind loyalty towards Madam Pang. The reaosn Port cant win the league despite the resources available is because she interferes too much.
