Haven’t finished the vid but I think the idea is that he kills them, not questline progression. I’ve beat the DLC and I know there is the fight at the end with Leda and everyone. However, I’m not sure if every NPC can show up there + it would probably be a little boring if he just killed them all then during that fight.
@Urd-Vidan but that could be a strained version of the voice similar to how morgotts phase transition doesn't sound exactly the same as his voice in dialogue

The lore reasoning for alot of the repeat bosses i find to make them worth it, just as an example, the tree sentinels being left to personally guard Marika's home of the Shaman Village
For those wondering, on the night of the black knives, two demigods were killed. So the cursemark of death is in half. Ranni kept her soul, but lost her body. Godwyn lost his soul but his body remained in Deeproot Depths and is almost growing into the Erdtree, which causes Deathroot to sprout.
Even if you had a bad experience with Dancing Lion, it being at a C tier while Ghostflame Dragon somehow gets a B is criminal 💀 Other than that, fantastic video
Godwyn couldve never been the consort of Miquella purely cause Godwyns soul is dead and gone and his body is a giant putrid mess growing through the roots of the erdtree
how would you even fight that tho, I;m interested in the concept but I don't see how it would work, it would quite literally be fighting the entire world
@@funkdefied1 we hit radahn with a sword until he stopped moving, we didn't use the rune of death on him. his and godwyns deaths are completely different
I can understand not liking the great red bear bosses, but what do you mean there's nothing different about them compared to the normal rune bears? Can you not see the wind and earthshaking attacks?
You're supposed to jump for the blue flame attack of the Putrescent Knight. Edit: thank you for the likes, I didn't expect it and thank you very much, have a nice day or night to everyone! All of you are precious
Yeah I spent almost two hours on that boss thinking the blue fames where undodgeble and almos always dying to them. After I understood that I had to jump it was almos comical how easy it was to dodge it haha
I get that a lot of the takes in this video are just opinions and personal experiences and that's completely fair, but Gaius's rewards are nowhere near bad, they're eveb great. You get 5 scadutree fragments afterwards and his remembrance has a VERY good gravity spell in it, the charged version hits three times and can actually track enemies.
I don’t see anyone saying it yet, but Rellana seems like a nod to Pontiff Sullivan in the best way down to the weapons! She has the stagger move set, and twin swords! Love the callback tho
I agree with the final boss discussion. Radahn's first phase, perfection. The moves, the music, the arena, the difficulty, all absolutely stellar. And then it all goes down the drain with that perma-toddler puts his privileged grubby hands around Radahn's neck. The base game final boss is the same way, perfect first phase with the music and the moves, but it takes as you've called it; a cosmic shit when the beast comes out. Nice to see the series hit the DLC so quick and heres hopes to the next Elde-mon video soon!
They should get rid of the Death Blight variant of the Dancing Lion Boss. It’s North East of the Ancient Ruins, Grand Stairway, replace it with a Death Knight. I know there is already two of them in the game, but make this one the leader of the other two. When you kill her you would receive a unique looking Death Knight armor set, it be more battered version of the normal Death Knight armor. More battle scars. Her name could be Mors, Captain of the Death Knights. The Death Knight with the two handed battle-axe name should be Death Knight Moriens. The double axes Death Knight name should be Death Knight Mortuus. They be the left and right hand of Mors. Devonia the Crucible Knight mini boss should be a full on boss. A mini boss at least to me is a boss enemy with a normal enemy health bar, but when you kill it and rest at a Site of Grace, it doesn’t respawn. She drops her helmet and hammer already, but she should also drop the horse form her bottom half turns into as an incantation. She should also drop a unique chest piece too. It be called the Hammer’s Layered Armor. It be a bulky battered and constantly repaired with different pieces of other armors. The Black Knight bosses in the dlc are fine, but they are too easy even for a low level player so they should change it. They should change it so as soon as the Black Knight boss gets to half health or as soon as he uses there Crucible incantation, a Crucible Knight swoops in and starts attacking you and the Black Knight. Now you have to fight two bosses now, but they are not helping each other, they are fighting you and each other. The Crucible Knight is here to stop the Black Knight from using Crucible incantations. After killing the Black Knight at Fog Rift Fort, you would receive the Frog tongue Crucible incantation called Aspect of the Crucible: Tongue. After killing the Crucible Knight, you would receive Aspects of the Crucible: Thorns instead of receiving it from the hippo boss fight. The Crucible Knight should be named Dealga, meaning Thorns in Irish at least according to Google Translate. The Black Knight at Fort of Reprimand already drops Aspects of the Crucible: Wings, but it’s an Ash of War, it should be an incantation. If you use it without a weapon you will jump up and swoop down and run into the enemy. If you use it with a thrusting sword you do the Axe Crucible Knights normal swooping attack and if you use it with a twin blade, you do the same move the Black Knight does. As the same as above when the Black Knight gets to half health or as soon as he uses his Crucible incantation the Crucible Knight swoops in and starts kicking yours and the Black Knight rears. After you kill the Crucible Knight, you’ll receive the Aspect of the Crucible: Blooms. The Crucible Knight name should be Blath. Both Crucible Knights fighting Black Knight will be wearing the Hammer Helm like Devonia because they helping her. The hippo boss fight would be a little different. Instead of it being in the Main Gate Plaza of the Shadow Keep it be in the Church District Courtyard where you fight the Ulcerated Tree Spirit. After you drain the water you will find it and a group of Messmer’s soldiers trying to kill it. No Black Knights only normal soldiers. They trying to kill it because the hippo just wandered into the Church District and started living there, but they don’t want it there. They should also remove the giant horn from the hippo it is not a rhino. Instead they should give the hippo giant teeth. You wouldn’t receive the Aspect of the Crucible: Thorns instead you would receive a hippo bite attack incantation. It will be like the Dragonmaw incarnation, but instead of a dragon head appearing and biting your enemies it would be a hippo head. The hippo name would be Greim. The hippo incantation would be called Greim’s Pian. It translates to Bite’s Pain in Irish at least according to Google translate. Jori, Elder Inquisitor is a bullcrap fight they should change it to make it less bullcrap, but still be a fair challenge. Jori will still have his arcs, but instead of having unlimited spawning of his spirits and spawning them on top of you, he would have a set amount. At half health he’ll spawn in four of the normal inquisitors and at 25% health he’ll spawn the fat inquisitor as a last ditch effort to kill you. Everything else will stay the same with him. He also spawns them he front of himself instead of on top of you. The normal inquisitors will have 2000 health all together while the fat one has 6000 health. The first phase of Promised Consort Radahn is fine, so that will stay the same, but the second phase will be a little different. Miquella will climb onto Radahn back as normal, but instead of sharing a health bar they both get their own. In the normal fight they have 46,134 in NG, in NG+ it’s more. It will be split between the two health bars. If you kill Miquella first Radahn becomes enraged, but if you kill Radahn first Miquella will absorb Radahn’s power and beef himself up. He’ll pick up Radahn’s swords and do all the holy magic variant attacks like in normal phase 2. If you kill Radahn then Miquella he will say his normal “make the world a gentler place” to you, but if you kill Miquella then Radahn he’ll say “I’m free” as he dies. His first and last words to the Tarnished. Or instead of him saying “I’m free” he’ll say “I’m coming Leonard”. All the reuse bosses will stay the same minus the Death Rite Bird. I like how they are oh I know how to fight these bosses moments in the dlc. The Death Rite Bird should be changed to a Death Bird and Gravebird cultist or something similar. They be wearing the Gravebird armor set and using Gravebird’s attacks including the jumping attack. After you kill the cultist he or she will drop the jumping attack of the Gravebirds and the ring attack, a Death Bird helmet, but you have to go find the Gravebird armor set as normal. The Death Bird helmet will the Death Rite Bird skull used as a helmet. It will boost all the Death Rite Birds and Death Birds spells and their weapons special skills while wearing it. They should combine both the Great Red Bears in the dlc. They should make it a Red Bear, but with two heads. After killing them you’ll receive Roar of Rugalea and Pelt of Ralva. The boss will be called Ralva and Rugalea the Great Red Bear.
This is a LOT of stuff, and you know what? I 100% agree with "almost" everything. The combining of the red bears is a little odd, I just think they should get attacks specific to them, Like Ralva not using the roar.
Ok I gotta be that guy. Fire Knight Queelign is still technically alive. He can invade you again in Belurat, and then you can finally kill him in the church in the Shadow Keep.
the bosss is okay if you don't lock on i feel like, otherwise it can be very annoying, the lightning phase does suck regardless of you locking on or not tho
@@PenguinWithInternetAccess The lightning is rather okay if you use strength attacks, but if you comit to anything slower than that - you're cooked. Funnily enough he never did any other phase in my fights. Always just lightning. Given, I wasn't stuck on him for hours but like, it wasn't first try either? I guess 20 minutes, maybe 30. Almost didn't believe my homie when he later told me the lion was on some Avatar shit
Gaius is a good fight in my opinion. The Radahn-Esque attacks are because they are rivals. The Sword-Lance is the only common remembrance weapon, so it can be infused. His fight is also like gyobu oniwa
IMO missed opportunity to have Gaius be one of few souls (major) bosses to use a basic weapon, showing that he made it his own with his own skill and prowess. To clarify, I mean a weapon not unique to them.
I think a lot of people assume that because it has a boss bar it has to be a super unique enemy with new music and attacks. What I think FromSoft is trying to do it have a boss for every “level” those being both general open world areas and legacy dungeons. The bosses are divided into separate tiers from enemy to god, so I think they should be viewed differently. Bosses like the Death Knights and Golden Hippos are supposed to show that these are powerful creatures, but there’s more than one. I’m fine with seeing repeat bosses for lesser enemies, because it means a break from fighting groups and instead I get a boss theme and a 1v1 that lets me experience how much better I am than when I fought the first of those bosses. What really irks me though are bosses like Godefroy and death blight dancing lion, since those are supposed to be unique enemies. But for tree sentinels and such, I think it’s fine because it shows that they are an elite enemy, but not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.
I mean lore wise the Dancing lion makes some sense, there were many of them, although gameplay wise it’s a bit annoying, but it’s a fun fight in my opinion and the ability to do death blight challenges you, if a boss is well designed, I don’t personally care too much if it’s reused since I get to fight it again, although it needs to still make some sense lore wise
How awesome and cinematic would it be if in phase 2 of the fight, when Miquella climbs onto Radahn, from behind you heard “Your 1000 years reign ends here.” All the friends you made in the dlc came to fight with you against Radahn and Miquella. The more questlines you do, the more of them show up to help you. Ansbach, Thioller, Redmane Freyja,Moore, and maybe Needle Knight Lede if you convince her to stop following Miquella. Give them all a piece of Miquella’s broken great rune, so they can get rid of the thing above their heads when they get grabbed by Radahn in the second phase.
Why would they do? Leda and freyja aren't gonna betray their respective masters, Freyja because of her whole honor thing and Leda because she is a fanatical, crazy monster who only follows Miquella to kill his enemies. You also are able to summon Ansbach and thiollier
@@user-tq6tf5wn1x , For Freyja I think if we could convince her by telling her what Miquella is using Radahn’s soul against his will, maybe by showing her proof. For Lede it might be a little more difficult because like you said she more frantic, but if we could convince her that what Miquella is doing is wrong maybe by showing everything Miquella casted off like his love (St Trina). Maybe she turn against Miquella. Also I know we can summon Ansbach and Thioller for the final fight, but they are the only two you can summon.
@@sparkslegends7482 I just cant imagine Leda doing that. The first thing she thought of after the mind control broke was killing anyone who could be against Miqueela.
Why three ghostflame dragons? Why not one ghostflame dragon and two different dragons, like a madness and sleep variant. The sleep dragon would be a giant like the one in Caelid, but sleeping and no matter how many times you hit it, it never wakes up. The dragon would be the same color as the Deep Purple Lilys you can find. It’ll be sleeping around the hole you drop down to get to the Coffin Fissure. The dragon name could be Suimin, the Slumbering Titan. The Maddening Hand would be riding the frenzy dragon. The frenzy dragon would be an ancient dragon driven mad by being in the Abyssal Woods and been attacked by an Ageless Untouchable. The dragon would be black and have eyes everywhere on its body like the Ageless Untouchables have on their bulbous heads. All the dragon’s fire attacks won’t hurt you, but will cause massive madness build up. After killing the frenzy dragon, the Maddening Hand will jump off and fight you as a last ditch effort to kill you, but goes down in three hits or one hit if you use madness spells, overloading his madness with more madness. You would fight it in the Abyssal Woods in a wide open field with orange flowers. The frenzy dragon name could be Mad Dragon Furorissax. Furor meaning frenzy in Latin at least according to google translate and Issax is just at the end of all the ancient dragon names. After killing Suimin you receive Suimin’s Eternal Sleep breath attack and giant dragon tooth weapon called Eien Li. Giant Tooth weapon that is a colossal weapon. The Maddening Hand would drop the Maddening Hand. After killing Furor you would receive Furor’s Scream a breath attack and an eye weapon called Insanis. One of Furor’s eye you hold in your hand and aim at enemies and it shoots madness. When you use it your character covers their eyes. The ghostflame dragon name could be Geistell. You would fight him the first time in the swamp area in the Gravesite Plains then at half health he disappears. You find him fighting Messmer’s soldiers south of Moorth’s Ruins. He can raised the dead to fight for him. After killing him you receive Geistell’s Damnation a breath attack and ghostflame whip made out of Geistell’s tattered skin. The whip could be called Kalt. Senessax name would stay the same and her placement in the game would also stay the same. Instead of using Fortissax’s Lightning Spears, she would use a special grab attack when you look into her eyes and get blasted by lightning eye lasers doing massive damage. She would also have the normal ancient dragon attacks too like calling down lightning and fire attacks. After killing her you would receive Senessax’s Piercing Gaze, the lightning eye laser attack minus the grab with it. Also she would have the same color as the rocks around her, she is covered in dirt and dust from living atop the mountain for a long time. Also the Jagged Peak Drakes aren’t drakes, they’re wyverns. A drake is a dragon with no wings and four legs. Have the Jagged Peak Drakes with no wings and four legs. They still have their breath attacks, but not the flying one. They still have the tail swipe too.
A frenzied flame dragon sounds really cool! It's unfortunate that Formsoftware hasn't come to that idea. Let's hope there would be mods doing that instead.
Ngl your take on radahn is exactly how I felt with him as well. The second phase feels like it’s not avoiding damage but minimizing it. Not much else I could say that was not already said by you but keep up the good work
on the end part, I think it's absolutely the case that miquella wanted godwyn as his consort first, hence the ghost on top of Sol apologizing that his soul couldn't be revived. I am incredibly sad at the lost potential tho. People a year ago were joking that the final boss would be Miquella on godwyns back and it felt weird to have that *almost* be true. Regardless I hope one day we get answers, of all the lore remaining Godwyn is the biggest mystery imo
I don’t like the idea some people have of Godwyn being the final boss. The whole point of his character is that he is supposed to be fully dead, as in never coming back. It would’ve ruined his whole character if they made him the final boss. I do like Promised Consort, but I wish it was just miquella. Maybe first Phase as St. Trina and then second phase as a god. Still, great video
My think with the DLC is that it doesnt't feel LIKE the end. It feels like the ending to parts of the storylines and that it wraps up certain things but when comparing it to The Old Hunters or Artorias of the Abyss, it doesn't sit right. It feels more like Ashes of Ariandel, which to me, at least story and content wise, indicates more might come one day. And thank god Mohg beat the allegations, poor lad
Ngl I felt the same way about the DLC. A lot of Elden Ring's small problems felt exaggerated in the DLC, empty areas, repeated enemies, and bosses that just push the bill of what a boss should be too far, where we kind of return to the "rhythm game" feel of other fromsoft titles.
i personally dont agree with the "the map is too big" take. miyazaki was probably trying to create these gorgeous and enormous landscapes which he definitely got right, and even at the cost of 3 ghostflame dragons and other filler content i respect this way of making the game less focused on the gameplay and more focused to the artistic side of it. also great vid bro
Spectacle only works for like a few hours and then you realize your running through an empty plain with the only thing being interactable is a few scattered enemies. Gravesite plain is the worst offender, so much empty air. Spectacle doesn't make for good gameplay
Commander Gaius is genuinely a horrible boss, yes. There's a good reason people hate him but his rewards are alright, the direct ones and the indirect ones. The sword lance (remembrance weapon) itself is not that good but you can take it's Ash of War and put it on another weapon. I used it on the greatsword and with literally just using it for a full combo I did over 9k damage. If that is not enough for it to be worth it then think about what area he unlocks, after defeating him you can go up and go to a shrine that has 5 scadutree fragments which in my opinion is a really nice side reward.
You said it right, Scadu is just some super ancient english (or maybe made up of parts of it?) that mean shadow, so it is just Shadowtree and shadowtree fragments
Difficulty seems to be really dependant on your build. I was goofing around with Mesmer, checking out his moves and he just.. died, first try. Meanwhile on the same build Bayle was.... let's just say tricky. And of course there's that guy. You know which one. Fuck that guy
commander gaius' turbo combo is not, in fact, unavoidable. to dodge it, roll backwards through the first hit then sprint away and jump the sweeps. you will consistently outspace him
@@el_gatoNegro to be fair, the 3rd Ghostflame Dragon *DOES* have a new thing separating it from the other two.... Granted it's a move that just summons a skeleton mob to also attack you, which isn't great. But it IS different from the other two
I think the reason godwyn was left out was because miquella isn't just cursed with eternal youth, he's cursed with never finishing anything, which includes his aging. He couldn't cure his sister, he couldn't save godwyn, he couldn't rival the erdtree with his own tree, he couldn't grow old. And now, he couldn't ascend to Godhood. Miquella could never save (or fully kill) godwyn, and so he simply moved along to the next project, and focused upon his plans for mohg and radahn. He is very childish in that way. He thinks he can solve things, but when they don't work, he simply sets it aside. All his ideas end up nascent, they are brought into action, and never find a solution. He is an intelligent demigod who never sees anything to fruition. That's why the nascent butterfly is his. And, y'know, godwyns soul suffered true death and his body is a cancerous growth spereading from the erdtree roots, so
Also coz Godwyn's soul was completely and utterly dead, it wouldn't make sense to bring him back and would be even more contradictory to the lore than Radahn is. At least Radahn's soul was still going through the cycle of the erdtree so Miquella could technically pluck it out.
As soon as he sees something that reuses a model he instantly gets annoyed and calls it a copy, apparently. He called the second death knight a flat out copy too when it actually has a Greataxe with a different moveset.
"Little Mickey" is WILD xD haha Mohg beat the allegations! also, i genuinley think the DLC was near perfect for me, and surpassed my expectations in every way. I get having a different opinion, though.
I actually disagree on the whole “godwyn should have been the final boss” from a gameplay perspective rather than a lore one. Imagine how utterly painful and stupid a death blight boss would be, or how uninspired yet another holy damage spam boss would be. And on a lore perspective Godwyn doesn’t even have any new lore for us to know about him, and bringing him back just makes the entire shattering pointless since marika could have just brought him back to life.
while i also wish it was godwyn, radahn makes the most sense in context with the dlc. the whole dlc is miquella attempting to repeat marika's journey to godhood, emulating his mother even if he doesn't realize it; all the way down to chosen consort, that being radahn, who emulates godfrey in almost every way. while miquella on radahn's shoulders is definitely an homage to lothric and lorian, its also very reminiscent to serosh and serosh's abilities, miquella stunts his emotions akin to what serosh does, which you can see in the phase transition cutscene when radahn attempts to fight as himself.
Gotta feel a Godwyn and Gloam Eyed Queen DLC is on the cards. DS3 got 2 and DS2 had 3 seperate yet combined DLC’s. No way MichaelZacchy is finished with the golden child game Elden Souls 2-2 scholar of the first ring
Honestly I don’t agree with a lot of your opinions on bosses like the dancing lion for me was awesome. We share the same opinion for radahns first phase but his second phase is such a skill check and I love it. Being able to figure out and dodge all of radahns attacks is to me what makes elden ring such a great game. Love the video please keep making more.
31:45 imo what i think happened was godwyn was prolly miquellas first plan for a consort but after miquella tried and could not give him a proper death his moved to radahn. the battle of aonia is the last battle in the shattering so timeline wise it would make sense. i love radahn and i think he's the strongest demigod but i too would have loved to see godwyn, especially wiith the catacombs foreshadowing
the final boss, I have to say, is really hard, but imo that's good, because you can't understand his attacks and are overwhelmed that's good, this is the las piece of content we are ever getting from elden ring, and we have something that, at least for me could take months to truly master, and I like that. That miquella memory cutscene is doodoo tho
So, the reason for the Scadutree fragments in terms of gameplay is so that it can recapture that sense of danger around every corner, and progression, as well as the focus on exploration to prevent you from over levelling too much In lore terms, think of where you are. The Realm of Shadow, with the Scadutree. This place has its own rules, and the Erdtree and Golden Order have no sway here. You have no power here, you have to adapt, or die.
You know what's the worst part of all these reused bosses? There was still no boss that uses sleep. I expected the Putrescent Knight to use sleep since it was outside of St Trina's chamber and was in purple water, but it used Frost, what a let down. Also only Ghostflame breath as a new standard dragon incantation, like why? Why not just have ancient dragon senessax have lightning breath and allow for lightning breath in dragon communion altar. It should have been super obvious to implement!
Also, why isn't there a crucible incantation of the frog lick that one black knight does? Why is Abyssal Woods empty for 80% of the map, It feels so bad to explore it. Scadutree fragments are pointless and railroad you from enjoying the game how you want to play it or you're at a severe handicap, bad game design no matter what.
ok ok ok. i have some thoughts! i am compelled to share them. mostly about the npcs :) but first, just some gameplay things that i'd like to note, just in case. all undead enemies are weak to holy damage and cant be bled, for bosses in the dlc that includes: the ghost flame dragons, the deathrite bird, and the putrescent knight. i noticed you using bleed weapons on the knight, so i thought you might not know. other notable bosses weak to holy include guias (as hes an albernaric, and they are weak to holy), rahdans first phase, and messmer
Honestly, I don't get why people dislike the reused bosses do much. They were fun to fight the first time, and it's nice that you don't need to start another playthrough to fight them again. Tree sentinels especially, I really enjoy their moveset.
Still, completely honestly, I really really do wish they made Godwyn be Miquella's revived consort. I wish the eclipse finally was achieved, and prime Godwyn stepped out. The leader of the ancient dragon cult himself, like a bigger version of the final boss of Sekiro or something
Finally someone I genuinely agree with on the final boss of the DLC. I always felt like Chadhan got shortchanged by FS in the base game, especially compared to Malenia. I thought it was really cool to fight him again in a "proper" form. Yes though, the fight itself was pretty BS. Fingerprint Greatshield and +25 Occult Cross Naginata ftw.
CURSE YOU, BAYLE!!! I HEREBY VOW, YOU WILL RUE THIS DAY! BEHOLD, A TRUE DRAKE WARRIOR, AND I, IGON!!!! YOUR FEARS MADE FLESH!! SOLID OF SCALE YOU MAY BE, ROTTEN DRAGON, BUT I WILL RIDDLE WITH HOLES YOUR ROTTEN HIDE!!! WITH A HAIL OF HARPOOOONNNS!!!! WITH EVERY LAST DROP OF MY BEING!!!!!!

how would you even fight that tho, I;m interested in the concept but I don't see how it would work, it would quite literally be fighting the entire world

3:47 I personally found it easier to free aim the camera instead of locking on. It doesn't fix all the issues you mentioned but its worth a try.

@@user-tq6tf5wn1x , True, she’s crazy about Miquella.
Demi-Human Queen Marigga? You've gotta be kidding me. Someone at Fromsoft was definitely taking the piss with that name.
Fromsoft should hire you

You completely overhauled the DLC dragon bosses! I love it!! A+ material
A frenzied flame dragon sounds really cool! It's unfortunate that Formsoftware hasn't come to that idea. Let's hope there would be mods doing that instead.
Yes very cool but it would take a significant amount of work and if they did this people would complain that they didn’t do this to all repeat bosses
I totally thought the Eldemon series ended, But I'm so glad to see that it's going to be continued. Great damn work dumpy! Love the vid.
Dang it sucks about the rating for the dancing lion, it’s actually my favorite boss from the dlc. Takes my number 1 spot. Bayle takes second.
i personally dont agree with the "the map is too big" take. miyazaki was probably trying to create these gorgeous and enormous landscapes which he definitely got right, and even at the cost of 3 ghostflame dragons and other filler content i respect this way of making the game less focused on the gameplay and more focused to the artistic side of it. also great vid bro
Spectacle only works for like a few hours and then you realize your running through an empty plain with the only thing being interactable is a few scattered enemies. Gravesite plain is the worst offender, so much empty air. Spectacle doesn't make for good gameplay
@@number1cheater272 yeah, I understand it
Commander Gaius is genuinely a horrible boss, yes.

Ah, a fellow Godwyn believer I see. Big respect
Honestly learning radahn phase 2 was the worst at first but when saw some openings in the attacks it became one of the best fights
He is Death,
Destroyer of worlds.
“Witless tarnished, why covet Destined Death? To kill what?”
the dlc is just amazing
He does know that rulva and the other red bear actually combine the moveset of the rune bear and beast clergyman right
As soon as he sees something that reuses a model he instantly gets annoyed and calls it a copy, apparently. He called the second death knight a flat out copy too when it actually has a Greataxe with a different moveset.
"Little Mickey" is WILD xD haha
Mohg beat the allegations! also, i genuinley think the DLC was near perfect for me, and surpassed my expectations in every way. I get having a different opinion, though.
It's pronounced the "ska-doosh tree", you gotta say it Kung Fu Panda style.
But why the hell didn't you used scadu fragments?
I actually disagree on the whole “godwyn should have been the final boss” from a gameplay perspective rather than a lore one.
Imagine how utterly painful and stupid a death blight boss would be, or how uninspired yet another holy damage spam boss would be.
And on a lore perspective Godwyn doesn’t even have any new lore for us to know about him, and bringing him back just makes the entire shattering pointless since marika could have just brought him back to life.
Yeah godwins soul is just gone, hes not truly dead cause his body is alive but the soul is long gone
while i also wish it was godwyn, radahn makes the most sense in context with the dlc. the whole dlc is miquella attempting to repeat marika's journey to godhood, emulating his mother even if he doesn't realize it; all the way down to chosen consort, that being radahn, who emulates godfrey in almost every way. while miquella on radahn's shoulders is definitely an homage to lothric and lorian, its also very reminiscent to serosh and serosh's abilities, miquella stunts his emotions akin to what serosh does, which you can see in the phase transition cutscene when radahn attempts to fight as himself.

So, the reason for the Scadutree fragments in terms of gameplay is so that it can recapture that sense of danger around every corner, and progression, as well as the focus on exploration to prevent you from over levelling too much
In lore terms, think of where you are.
