Mate, youre a legend. I've been looking for a series explaining this whole process for a while! Had a super hard time finding people who do custom headlights in NSW so I may aswell do it myself.
Does this work on E Class Mercedes headlights? W213. Ive got a smashed one. Need to remove the lens but it does not budge. Ive used a heat gun and its gotten pretty hot and it still does not budge. Any tips would be great. Thanks.
You are good Excellent video, so did all heat light work this way , I have large head light Ford van e350 , how long need to leave in the oven approximately Thanks
I'm loving the videos and your project has increased my confidence in working on my own MX5. If I had one piece of feedback for the videos, it would be to drop the background music - a little distracting when trying to concentrate on what you're saying.
+Matthew Asbury thanks Matthew. I’m really glad you’re finding the videos helpful. As for the background music, my average watch time increased by 40% when I started having background music, but I have started dropping the volume a bit more in my more recent videos :)
+Matthew Asbury haha thanks Matthew. I was surprised too! It’s about appealing to as broad an audience as possible. And unfortunately these days attention span is very short.
Boosted Autos Oh, wow. Thanks for your response. How can one tell? I have condensation in one of mine, theres also water settled at the bottom, it needs to be opened, drained and cleaned :-(
i tried so hard to get mine apart even tried 300 for 10 min and it still didnt work they were so glued on the lens cracked while i was trying to get it off
1. You forgot the first step - make sure your missus isn't at home (how dare you use her oven?!). 2. Demon eyes wouldn't be a good idea in Australia, seeing as the ADRs specify no forward-facing red lights.

+Daniel M No worries mate. There's a few good people. Stitch's customs is good in Newcastle. But yeah. Not too hard to DIY.
The main bit im worried about is wiring things in really...haven't done anything like that since my highschool days.
yeah! thanks man, you never know you need this kind of content until you do!!
dat background music tho, chill af
Thank you. This tutorial is the most thorough out there. Very helpful. I’m going forward with my light now.
Wish u didn't have the background music it's distracting af but otherwise perfect video, exactly what I been searching hours for! Lol THANKS

I’d prefer not to guess on lights I haven’t had personal experience with. Sorry.

40%!? Wow! Ignore me and go with the data. I'll watch the videos with or without the music :)

very good video you can tell me what temperature is the oven to open the lighthouse
Thanks. The details are in the video.
I do not understand spoken English, just written, can you help me?
@@ILUMINACIONLEDPANDA he never helped you out..damn..
@@ILUMINACIONLEDPANDA How do you know its a very good video then?
@@ILUMINACIONLEDPANDA 200 degrees faranheit for 10 minutes. I personally don't like the oven, a heat gun is safer.
Do you know if it's safe to bake Xenon headlights? I have a 2013 focus ST.
How many minutes it should be inside of oven?
Thanks! Worked great!
+Bum Water awesome! Glad to hear the guide helped you!
Is okay to bake headlights that have built in led in the housing???
Should be ok. Just be very careful not to get them too hot.
Nice video man!
Hi, I live in the UK and have car that I need that work doing to. Can you recommend anybody in the UK that could do it?
Google Mary Berry from The Great British Bake Off.
Go to Jimmy Johns
Hey dude I was wondering if you measured the diameter of the prodjector lens I can't find it anywhere 😂
Hi Issac. Sorry I didn’t :(
great guide thankyou
Is it the same procedure for opening tail lights?
+Dewey AI not all. Some are plastic welded and have to be cut open.
Boosted Autos Oh, wow. Thanks for your response. How can one tell? I have condensation in one of mine, theres also water settled at the bottom, it needs to be opened, drained and cleaned :-(
+Dewey AI try popping one of the bulbs out and draining it out maybe. What car do you have?
@@supernova4300 You can remove a bulb and use a hair dryer against the bulb opening to dry it out.
what mix is this man??
Liquicity Records on Soundcloud and Spotify :)
awesome !!
i tried so hard to get mine apart even tried 300 for 10 min and it still didnt work they were so glued on the lens cracked while i was trying to get it off
have a 03 chevy silverado idk if those lights aren't meant to be taken apart but i just ordered already painted ones for 100 now lmao
Good but in my case my headlights are glued with silicon and with the heatgun nothing hapends
Might need to slice through the silicon if they’ve been opened before and revealed with a non-standard adhesive. Hard to say.
@@boostedmedia no. Is from the factory. Some Italia cars and opel also they have this type. Is not soft... but very strong. With heat ....nothing.
@@orestispappas1613 Razor blade and cut the silicone.

Haha! My wife was not impressed.
I put the demon eyes on a remote switch (covered in a later video) for that reason. For show only.
How tempature?
You didn't seem to cover what temp the oven should be set to!
You just have skipped past it. It’s there.
80 C at 20‘’
dont wanna eat from that owen after this...........
Doesn't get hot at all. Plastic melts at 800 degrees, all you're doing is warming the adhesive. You can do the same thing with a heat gun.
Why dont you say the temperature?
@White Trash Thanks man
do more mod videos
def not worth it thanks though
