    Mate, youre a legend. I've been looking for a series explaining this whole process for a while! Had a super hard time finding people who do custom headlights in NSW so I may aswell do it myself.

      +Daniel M No worries mate. There's a few good people. Stitch's customs is good in Newcastle. But yeah. Not too hard to DIY.

    Does this work on E Class Mercedes headlights? W213. Ive got a smashed one. Need to remove the lens but it does not budge. Ive used a heat gun and its gotten pretty hot and it still does not budge. Any tips would be great. Thanks.

    I'm loving the videos and your project has increased my confidence in working on my own MX5. If I had one piece of feedback for the videos, it would be to drop the background music - a little distracting when trying to concentrate on what you're saying.

    • @boostedmedia
      @boostedmedia  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Matthew Asbury thanks Matthew. I’m really glad you’re finding the videos helpful. As for the background music, my average watch time increased by 40% when I started having background music, but I have started dropping the volume a bit more in my more recent videos :)

    • @MatthewAsbury
      @MatthewAsbury 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      40%!? Wow! Ignore me and go with the data. I'll watch the videos with or without the music :)

      +Matthew Asbury haha thanks Matthew. I was surprised too! It’s about appealing to as broad an audience as possible. And unfortunately these days attention span is very short.

    1. You forgot the first step - make sure your missus isn't at home (how dare you use her oven?!).
    2. Demon eyes wouldn't be a good idea in Australia, seeing as the ADRs specify no forward-facing red lights.

    • @boostedmedia

      Haha! My wife was not impressed.
      I put the demon eyes on a remote switch (covered in a later video) for that reason. For show only.

      Doesn't get hot at all. Plastic melts at 800 degrees, all you're doing is warming the adhesive. You can do the same thing with a heat gun.
