@@607 Both, my dad used to play the real game very often after work with his buddies, I remember because he'd always come home first to pick up so I could watch them and play arcades, he even participated in tournaments and stuff, this I actually don't remember but we still have the trophies he won back in the day, he bought me this game and Top Gear since I really liked cars back then, I also remember watching him play Side Pocket because I really sucked at it ( and still do), he told me he would teach me how to play it once I got older but he passed away before that, that's why I said this game always reminds me of him.
@@SunnyTacos Thanks for the story! I'm sorry for your loss. Edit: Many of my video game memories are also linked to my late father, so I think I can relate. :)
One of the few games i owned as a kid back when i still had a SNES. I really couldn't remember the name of it, despite knowing it was about billiards... But now i know! And seeing it in action again brings this nostalgic feeling back to me. Thanks for the upload!
Wow, this takes me back. My grandmother play this game constantly and never did this well. I played it too but was never great at it, in fact I think that was the first time I saw it "beat". Very awesome!
This is one of those games that I went and rented from the video store. Admittedly that was the Mega Drive version with the very scratchy speech xD. The music is great on both thankfully and I still break it out and have a go of it for nostalgia sake. The aesthetic is still very relaxing and enjoyable all these years later.
I will never understand why Data East gave this version to Iguana Entertainment, but developed the Genesis version by themselves. I think I prefer the Genesis version.
The OST on this game is legendary.
My late dad was a beast at this game, can't see this and not think of him.
The video game or the physical game?

My introduction to smooth jazz, right here.
Almost two decades later here we are, savoring that jazz.
PARA TUDO QUE ESSA TRILHA SONORA É MAIS CHARMOSA DOS JOGOS. INSTRUMENTAL NOTA 1000, PARECE Q FICO ATÉ MAIS ELEGANTE E RICO ESCUTANDO ELAS
Esse gosta hein????

The Music is one of my favorites parts about this game. My Dad used to play this all the time.

This billiard game is similar to Data East's original Side Pocket for the NES.
