Great video but it is not complete! There is another support for the radiator on left and right bottom that needs to be detached. I was trying hard to wedge it for almost 1 hour before I noticed it. You should get under the car and you will see both tabs. Something that helped me was looking at the new radiator to understand where the tabs were. Hope this helps someone else.
Great video! I have a 2003 Mercedes SLK320 and need to replace the radiator this weekend. Whats the best way to get to the Transmission lines on the back of the radiator? Thanks
Perfect up until 1:50. Unfortunately Japan spec cars are different from here on and require taking a good portion of the front of the car apart. Excellent video though, very clear and concise.
@@adamlawrence590 Hi, I was able to replace mine. If I remember correctly, as this was roughly one year ago, it was connected to the fan in front of it. I ended up breaking the plastic that connects the two by abrupt force. I slid the new radiator in and made the appropriate hose connections. I haven't had any issues since. Note that my vehicle is a 2004 C230 Kompressor, so I'm not aware of the specific similarities between our models but I hope this helps.
@@jrrchemist6658 I have a C230 kompressor 2003 and mine is also attached to what seems to be a short fatter radiator that has what looks like 2 air hoses connected to it. I don't want to break anything and I have no idea how it's connected! 🫤
@@shawn7307 Can you provide more details? My radiator was connected to the fan near the bottom. This is where I was having issues. The connection between the two involves sliding up and pulling out. It's almost like a hook.
We don't currently have that tech article. If we get a chance to perform the procedure, we will be sure to document it. If you check the forums, someone may have shared photos there of the procedure. forums.pelicanparts.com/

First remove the fan shroud. Then you have access to the lines, unscrew them from there.

Thanks for the info!
this is a great video of how to remove radiator, fan, etc thank you
You're welcome
It looks like the radiator is connected to something near the bottom. How do I remove it?
What is the year and model of vehicle?
I've got a 2005 clk 270cdi, an mine is attached at the bottom too? Can seem to figure out what it is stuck on?
