It's like the opposite of having a psychiatrist as a parent :) I will say though that on the flip side, having my other parent be a dermatologist was the ultimate cheat code and I do appreciate having the clearest skin because of it.

Hey, Gibi. I can’t tell you much about having a baby during pregnancy, but as a mother that had post partum depression and anxiety and bipolar, definitely and i mean definitely make sure you have an amazing support system. Make sure you get alone time, you’ll feel guilty for taking alone time. Every mother needs one to reboot themselves. Breaks will always be needed. And with Ben there, i know you’ll get breaks and plenty of sleep, but make sure you do get them. Just a moment to breathe or a shower can make a difference. I hope some of these tips help. You’ll do absolutely great, Gibi. ❤
And if you tell a doctor you’re depressed and need help, and they just say “oh, of course you’re depressed, you’re postpartum/you’re tired/you’re whatever” and don’t offer help, get a new doctor! Everyone deserves medical care, not medical dismissal

You've helped me to Improve my sleep quality over the years, and been such a powerful form of support during my school years. You're gonna be a great mum I'm sure, and it's a gonna be one lucky baby to have you.

@ElliMosh yeah, there's also the worry of people being creepy. I've had friends have to take down baby photos because random people were reposting them and stuff. It's horrible.

I'm a mom of 4. Grace for yourself is the most important thing in motherhood. You are learning to be a mother right alongside your baby learning to live. Remind yourself of that daily. Deep breaths and practicing to relax your body in tense situations will help with labor and motherhood in general. With adhd, make sure you know your boundaries and protect them. Lists, rest, and of course asmr all help me manage. Congratulations on baby Gibi❤

Ah I knew it already. I've noticed it before the 5M live, I saw her puffy face (not fat but pregnant face Idk how to explain it), then her wearing big shirts that didn't hide the pregnancy. Also the haircut change..it was another cue. During the 5m live Ben was treating her with particular care. That care that a man could have for his pregnant girl/wife. It was so noticeable. In fact I've commented it that to me she seemed pregnant and people didn't believe me! OH WELL..

Post partum depression is best combatted when you have support! Its especially prevelant with people who have little to no help. My first baby was up a lot and I didnt sleep much for 19 months, second one way way easier. BUT I did do almost everything alone. And these times also pass very fast in retrospect :) Just wanted to add that. If its hard always know that wont be forever. Its just a blip in your life and poof you are out of that struggle.
ADHD mama here - having support is a HUGE factor. A lot of what makes the first few months so hard is exhaustion. If you have a supportive partner and family to help, take advantage of it and rest as much as you can
Yesss I felt it so personally when she said she got off her medication because that is such a difficult step to take!! I'm so proud and I hope she has the support to get her peacefully through the PP 🥺❤️

Motherhood is the best thing ever❤️ my daughter LOVESSSS ASMR its literally the sweetest thing! I do the “sksksk” in her ears and she totally gets put into this asmr trance everytime😂 you are a great mother already❤️ My doctor found it best to keep me on my vyvanse on a lower dose while I was pregnant because my adhd was so bad I was forgetting to eat and stuff. ADHD and pregnancy is really tough but trusting in your own instincts & doctors advice is the best thing you can do!
Congrats!!! Having a baby is a joy unlike any other in life. I had my first baby in March and my coworker said “Pregnancy tired is like you could lay down on the side of the road and fall asleep” and I swear nothing is more true

it feels weird to say since i am alot younger than Gibi, but it feels like i have watched her grow up. I started watching her almost 4 years ago, and the amount of growth and change i have witnessed from her is kinda surreal.
I've seen it even in my church leaders and teachers almost as old as my parents, and in my parents too. People keep growing throughout life no matter their age. It's just so cool to see in people you look up to, because it makes me look up to them even more, and it provides hope and perspective for myself and my future ❤️ so that is to say I feel you

I have 2 under 2 and I struggled with PPD and PPA with my first and honestly the lack of sleep is what caused me so much anxiety, I’ve been watching ASMR for 8ish years now and it truly helped me relax enough to rest while PP! It’s so normal to worry and have anxiety after having a baby and to care for a whole human, I think it just shows how much we care for our children by the way we worry for them! You’re going to be such a great mom! Trust your instincts- there’s so much on social media your brain will explode! Can’t wait to hear about the rest of the journey!

Mom of 2 with ADHD, breastfed both babies until they were 14months each. It was a struggle for sure. With my first, the post partum anxiety was sooo bad, but therapy helped a lot and meditation. I know that’s weird but it is what it is! With my second, I had no anxiety or depression. I stayed on my anxiety medication with both babies, and it saved me. I had to put the guilt aside. Happy mom, happy baby. Making sure I ate also really helped with the anxiety. The adhd just is something that I had to struggle through.

I’m incredibly happy Gibi shared her experience with pelvic floor physical therapy since it’s not as well known, so I’m here to explain some things! your pelvic floor is incredibly important! it holds up all your lower internal organs. i have a pelvic floor dysfunction and my PT is amazing. Going to pelvic floor physical therapy is really good before and after giving birth, since most of the time people with pelvic floor dysfunction are mothers! A lot of people with anxiety subconsciously clench their pelvic floor muscles (me included) and if it’s prolonged it can cause other health issues.
Congratulations! We have triplets that are 3 now. They’re incredibly exhausting, challenging, and it’s the hardest thing we’ve ever done but I wouldn’t change it for ANYTHING! It’s going to be so rewarding for you two.

I'm a mom of 4. Grace for yourself is the most important thing in motherhood. You are learning to be a mother right alongside your baby learning to live. Remind yourself of that daily.
Deep breaths and practicing to relax your body in tense situations will help with labor and motherhood in general.
With adhd, make sure you know your boundaries and protect them. Lists, rest, and of course asmr all help me manage. Congratulations on baby Gibi❤

Ah I knew it already. I've noticed it before the 5M live, I saw her puffy face (not fat but pregnant face Idk how to explain it), then her wearing big shirts that didn't hide the pregnancy. Also the haircut change..it was another cue. During the 5m live Ben was treating her with particular care. That care that a man could have for his pregnant girl/wife. It was so noticeable. In fact I've commented it that to me she seemed pregnant and people didn't believe me! OH WELL..

Post partum depression is best combatted when you have support! Its especially prevelant with people who have little to no help. My first baby was up a lot and I didnt sleep much for 19 months, second one way way easier. BUT I did do almost everything alone. And these times also pass very fast in retrospect :) Just wanted to add that. If its hard always know that wont be forever. Its just a blip in your life and poof you are out of that struggle.

ADHD mama here - having support is a HUGE factor. A lot of what makes the first few months so hard is exhaustion. If you have a supportive partner and family to help, take advantage of it and rest as much as you can

Motherhood is the best thing ever❤️ my daughter LOVESSSS ASMR its literally the sweetest thing! I do the “sksksk” in her ears and she totally gets put into this asmr trance everytime😂 you are a great mother already❤️ My doctor found it best to keep me on my vyvanse on a lower dose while I was pregnant because my adhd was so bad I was forgetting to eat and stuff. ADHD and pregnancy is really tough but trusting in your own instincts & doctors advice is the best thing you can do!

I have 2 under 2 and I struggled with PPD and PPA with my first and honestly the lack of sleep is what caused me so much anxiety, I’ve been watching ASMR for 8ish years now and it truly helped me relax enough to rest while PP! It’s so normal to worry and have anxiety after having a baby and to care for a whole human, I think it just shows how much we care for our children by the way we worry for them! You’re going to be such a great mom! Trust your instincts- there’s so much on social media your brain will explode! Can’t wait to hear about the rest of the journey!

Mom of 2 with ADHD, breastfed both babies until they were 14months each. It was a struggle for sure. With my first, the post partum anxiety was sooo bad, but therapy helped a lot and meditation. I know that’s weird but it is what it is! With my second, I had no anxiety or depression. I stayed on my anxiety medication with both babies, and it saved me. I had to put the guilt aside. Happy mom, happy baby. Making sure I ate also really helped with the anxiety. The adhd just is something that I had to struggle through.

18:35 Hi! I’m incredibly happy Gibi shared her experience with pelvic floor physical therapy since it’s not as well known, so I’m here to explain some things!
your pelvic floor is incredibly important! it holds up all your lower internal organs. i have a pelvic floor dysfunction and my PT is amazing. Going to pelvic floor physical therapy is really good before and after giving birth, since most of the time people with pelvic floor dysfunction are mothers! A lot of people with anxiety subconsciously clench their pelvic floor muscles (me included) and if it’s prolonged it can cause other health issues.
Congratulations! We have triplets that are 3 now. They’re incredibly exhausting, challenging, and it’s the hardest thing we’ve ever done but I wouldn’t change it for ANYTHING! It’s going to be so rewarding for you two.
