When we first thought asmr was a meme and now we need it to sleep
I discovered asmr almost 5 years ago after ASMR Darling did her "10 triggers to help you sleep" video. I began making fun of it as a concept, but now I genuinely require it to sleep lmao

First time I heard of it was through Soothouse's 'Weird ASMR Videos' video. Then years after that I remembered them mentioning tingles, thought 'I wonder if that's what I felt during my doctors exam' or something like that, and then I found Gibi. And I never looked back.
I started listening asmr as research for a asmr video essay and genuinely fell in love with it. It has helped me sleep so much and it was one of the most fun and interesting video essays/documentarys I have ever made, what I would give to re-live that exploration process all over again!
I watched my first asmr video 6 years ago, heather feathers first squishy asmr, been hooked since then. I’m 16 now haha

@Nora Tomine basically duolingo is an app for learning languages and its mascot is a green owl called Duo. When you use the app it starts a streak and whenever you're about to lose it you get really aggressive notifications and emails about how Duo is gonna die if you don't practise your languages 😳
