They usually happen every 6 months as secret life happened in october and real life happened in april so im expecting it to be in october again this time. That way it will be done before the new year
My favorite data point I learned is that while Jimmy wasn't out first in secret life, his average placement still went down due to having the most amount of people.
my favorite is that mumbo actually has the lowest average placement and not jimmy. mumbo was second and third to last in the two seasons he participated in, last life and secret life, these also happen to be the only seasons where the player count was 17, whereas all others had only 14 players. sooo mumbo was 16th in last life and 15th in secret, making his average rank 15.5th while jimmy was last in every season except secret life, his average placement is still higher than mumbo because of the fact that he's present in ALL seasons including the ones with only 14 players. this means he was 14th in 3rd life, 17th in last life, 14th in double life, 14th in limited life and 16th in secret life, making his average placement 15th!
i think it's also important to consider the storytelling. martyn (as opposed to scott or impulse) won limited life for the drama, pearl won double life (as opposed to her and scott sharing the win) because it created more of a story, etc etc. it's an improv series as much as it's a survival game. that being said, i think you're spot on with the non-winner picks.
I'd argue that Pearl AND Scott won Double Life. They both died simultaneously, so they are tied. Plus, I do remember Grian saying that Double Life would have two winners.

Scar can be insanely lucky when it happens. Hence the epic waterbucket clutch in double life and winning secret life due to Pearl final death being fall damage you could hear Grian whisper that was fitting of a scar win. You could also hear gem and Pearl giggle in the background too.
I think that scar is much better at the game than some people realize. He even can out and said that secret life wasn’t his favorite season, despite winning. And I think it’s because he was actually trying to win towards the end of the season. He made plays that were super aggressive and maybe less content focused, which he has been capable of for much longer, just for the sake of winning,
Saying "insanely lucky" kinda implies that he has no skills and his survivability is just by pure luck, but the man is good, he just prefers to be silly, because he enjoys shenanigans way more than winning... Scar is capable of surviving and can be a great at the game, he just wants to be silly most of the time
Joel is probably my favorite life series member, so I’m definitely hoping for a Joel dub, but then again, I also really want to see either BigB or Ren win a season. Any of those 3 and I’d be popping off lol

Joel is my favorite Life Series Member, hands down. He's definitely my favorite MC Content Creator as well. He does so well in MCC, and is good at movement and pvp. He just doesn't makke good decisions (which he honestlly was much better at during Secret Life, so improvement there). He probably has the best pvp skill in the series, but is put down due to the bad decisions. I can't wait for him to win a series because I have been rooting for him for so long. HE can truly be a menace once he locks in.

To be honest, I would love to see a showdown between Gem and Joel since they possibly have the best PVP skills out of the life series players and they’re always messing around on the Hermitcraft server. I honestly would cry of happiness if Joel won a life series, It would be one of the best days of my life.

i’ve been rooting for joel since i started watching the series in last life. I feel like his biggest thing holding him back is making goofy mistakes, like falling a ton in limited life (i think he had the most deaths in that season), and things like the failed clutch at the start (caused a death), setting off his own trap in the last episode (made him lose 20 hearts), and letting scott get the kill on bdubs at the very end of secret life. he came really close last season and could’ve won if it wasnt for that. i’m hoping he’ll catch a w soon. great video btw, you deserve more subs
When it comes to measuring kills, I don't actually care as much about someone's total kill count over the entire life series, or average kills per season. Instead, I look at how their kills during a season relate to the overall death count in said season. For example, getting 3 kills in Limited Life is almost nothing, because that season just had so many deaths. But in Double Life, 3 kills IS a lot, because Double Life only had like 20 deaths. So that would already make you alone responsible for 15% of the deaths!! I don't count the winner's final deaths as part of the total death counts because those are always more of a formality. Scott's final death in Last Life and Martyn's final (2) death(s) in Limited Life were not vanilla, and Scar in Secret Life didn't even have a final death. I also counted kills slightly different than you did. For starters, i didn't count self-kills. Same goes for kills done by other people playing on your account (this happened a few times in Limited Life). Also, some players got more kills than you showed in your video. But i get that it's hard to keep track of every single kill. Plus, some "kills" are grey areas. So i dug into the stats of all the Lifers that have PLAYED IN AT LEAST 3 SEASONS. I added up all of the percentages of deaths caused by them in each season they've played in. Then i divided these results by the total amount of played seasons in order to get an average percentage of deaths caused by each player every season The results are the following: 1. Grian - 11,2% 2. Scar - 10,6% 3. Joel - 9,7% 4. Ren - 9,3% 5. Pearl - 6,6% 6. Scott - 5,8% 7. Martyn - 5,6% 8. Etho - 4,9% 9. Bdubs - 4,3% 10. Impulse - 2,9% 11. Skizz - 2,3% 12. Tango - 1,8% 13. Jimmy - 1,2% 14. BigB - 1,1% 15. Cleo - 0,9% As you can see, i left out Mumbo, Lizzie and Gem because they have only participated in 1-2 seasons so far. Using low sample size from few seasons would give flawed data. If i were to include everyone however, Gem would be in 1st with 16%. (8 kills out of 50 deaths in Secret Life) But again, she benefits from low sample size. Grian also got 8 kills in his first season and was responsible for 19,5% of the deaths in Third Life. However, i think Gem will remain in the top 5 regardless, because she seems to play these series very aggresively. And she is good at PVP. That being said, it becomes clear from these statistics that Grian, Scar, Joel and Ren appear to be significantly more aggressive than the other players. And all of the past winners are in the top 7. It leads me to think that either Joel or Ren are strong contenders to win season 6. Grian and Scar already won. However i'm leaning more towards Rendog. A lot of people seem to sleep on Ren, probably because he has been absent for the last two seasons. That's also the reason he doesn't have as many kills as some other players. Based of Real Life, i think he will return next season. Joel could win too, but the entire fandom, including his own fans, have agreed at this point that Joel is reckless. Secret Life was his best shot at winning, but he still managed to fall back into his old habits near the end, when things got more desperate. Though i'd love to see him win as well. Thus, my hot take is that Ren will win a future season. Mainly because he is dedicated. He is very committed to the roleplay and is determined to get what he wants. In 3rd life, he patiently waited until everyone was online before ordering his Hand to kill him, in order to send off a strong message to the server. In Last Life, he lured Skizz into his spleef trap and got a clean kill. That same season, he was the brain behind the bubblevator ambush that ended up taking out BigB and Scar. And in Double Life, he and BigB spent an entire session secretly digging a tunnel towards the pool party, to bring over an army of zombies. Ren's ability to plan his moves forward and commit to the plan makes him a strong player imo. He also had good placements in the first two seasons. 7th in 3rd life, and 2nd in Last Life. He didn't even die once until Last Life session 8. He got 12th in Double Life, which can be solely blamed on Grian's stalactite. Great kill coming from Grian, but that death was so unlucky for Ren & BigB. Overall, his self-preservation skills are decent. If not Ren, then my second pick will be Gem.
You worded that EXCELLENTLY. I totally agree that Ren is INCREDIBLY talented. He totally has a shot at winning. At this point, so many different people have great shots at winning. So, it's really hard to tell who can take the crown. Joel, as you and MANY other people pointed out, does make some reckless moves. Sometimes, it's not always his fault as his own dogs hit traps, but at the end of the day, most of his damage is caused by his own misfortunes and mistakes. I definitely forget about Ren sometimes. In Life Series timelines, he's been gone for over a year and a half. He adds SO much to a series and honestly, him creating Dogwarts and forcing people to choose a side is one of the reasons the Life Series became so popular!! He is SO calculated and unfortunately, because he has played 3 of the 5 seasons, his data numbers aren't as high because other people, who played in a 5, have a lot more chances to get kills and make it to the final!!! I definitely think he's a great contender!
This is so good! I love your content style. My only small problem is that some of the categories aren’t balanced for people who didn’t play in every season. For example, my two favourite life series players are gem and Pearl because they are awesome at the game and I consider them realistic options for being winners, but your point system makes it so players with less games played are at a disadvantage than people with more games played. @@meganweng6483 i totally agree. There are several issues with the point system. Unfortunately, there is a pretty much an issue with every point system. If you only include seasons with the most people, you limit other seasons in which others did really well in. Of course, it's the Life Series, and no one is going to do great every season. (It's literally the whole point to be the last one standing, so somebody definitely can't have a good season) REGARDLESS, I totally agree with your point, and I just felt that this was the easiest way to do it without it getting really confusing on what I was including or what I was not including!!
Would love to see BigB win lol, just imagine the storyline, he gaslights everyone and turns full evil mode to cause chaos on the server then cleans everything up. Probably won’t happen, but that’s my head-canon until the season comes out
tbh joel and gem final 2 duel wouldn't be that exciting, bc joel is the best pvper in the life series (undoubtedly, he and gem also had fought before and he won) plus we had final 2 duel already, and for the 5 seasons there's been 5 different styles of ending - 1: no armor, no weapons, fist fight to the death, kung fu style that's really sad I cry every time I watch it; 2: final 2 duel; 3: sacrifice for soulmate; 4: BETRAYALLLL; 5: 2v1 "that's disgusting" I'd want a different style ending for season 6

I regularly watch 5 life series members, and only two of them are even talked about 😭 scar and grian of course, but then my mumbo, Lizzie, and Jimmy… struggle to say the least. Anyway, I’d love to see Impulse or Joel get the win for sure. Then again, Gem showing up in season 5 and winning her second season would be awesome and I think she really suits our winners line up. I do wonder if past winners have or will purposely give up first place to keep a unique winner each season. Part of me wants them to for the funky winner lore we’ve got going on in the fandom, but I also feel like it undermines winners who beat a past champion in the final standings (scar, pearl, and martyn actually) Honestly though, I’m not too bothered who wins. I just want fun, interesting alliances and cool storylines to obsess over!!
Yeah... unfortunately, Lizzie, Jimmy, and Mumbo don't have the greatest stats in the world.... so for that reason they didn't get talked about very much. And I think a lot of people wonder if past winners give up their position. I think if past winners make it to the end then they don't try as hard? They don't just give up cause that's like a pity win, but they aren't necessarily going out to fight guns a blazing. If that makes any sense...😂
Despite the data, I will always root for Etho & Bdubs. Good predictions though, you used good evidence to factor in to the prediction and pointed out places where the data is limited (like with Gem only having played one season).
Id personally put pearl above scott for consistently being top 5 because pearl wasnt in 3rd life, so she has actually been top 5 100% of the seasons she has been in

Scott technically won once but basically won 3 times. He would have won limited life bcuz he had to kill himself twice but impulse and Martin died once. In double life Scott killed himself so pearl could win. And Scott won in last life and Scott always does good
I know righttt, I think Scott is an insanely good player, I was especially amazed with his bow and arrow skills in Limited Life. The only reason he didn't win was for plot reasons lmfao

However, it wasn't his amazing skills handing the win to other players as he just couldn't go on winning so hard, so he decided to sacrifice, his first life he was on literally half a heart and would have died to a tick of fall damadge, and instead of just playing it like literally anyone else in the series he gamed it by dying to martyn, smart. And his last life he had 2.5 hearts, and either he gave ten hearts to gem or ten hearts to the opposition. The choice is obvious, and a great parralel to scar and pearl, who had the same situation but scar chose not to kill pearl. Great story, but it's not like scott was giving up his chance of winning, he just made the only play better then medicore in that situation.

an interesting thing i noticed is that scott has been connected to the winner of every life series except secret life, he was allied with grian and scar in 3rd life, won last life, was pearl's soulmate in double life and martyn's teammate throughout limited life
My bet is usually someone who is allied with Scott cuz somehow every season winner EVEN THE VR EPISODES always have some major alliance history with him

I really hope Cleo, Lizzy, or Ren win! Lizzy’s Last Life episodes were What introduced me to the series and all the cool people in it, I started watching Cleo’s episodes and loved her POV so much!! I’ve watched it six times now and would gladly watch it again. When last life ended I watched Martyn’s Third Life POV and he and Ren’s lore was so good I’ve watched his Third Life POV four times, since he won I want to see Ren win a season now, if he’s in it again.
Actually, Lizzie's Last Life episodes introduced me to the Life Series too!!! I didn't realize it when I was watching it tho!!! I actually got into the Life Series from watching Joel tho. A lot of people really like Ren and think he'll win too!!!
As much as I want impulse to win, Ren is who I think will win the next one. I'm not too confident in Joel because he's very reckless and normally makes at least a few enemies to bother him the whole season, still would be fun tho. Also there's a 100% chance Martin WILL take the win if he gets a chance. As for Etho, two words. Washed. Up.
So now that this season has actually started, I reckon it’ll probably be gem or Joel who wins, or they are some of the first people out! Same with Jimmy and Scar they will either get really really high in the rankings or they will be the first people out

fun data, but i would say that the kills per season are slightly skewed towards the top of the limited life series, since there are way more kills that season due to the way the season worked with the timers

joel is probably one of if not the best player in the server, he just always manages to do something stupid and die from it. Season 1, make too many enemies. Season 2, (ok thats obvious). Season 3, make WAY too many enemies. Season 4, being too aggressive (and making too many enemies). Season 5, shooting bdubs (seriously I think joel couldve won if he just didnt shoot bdubs at the end, or at least killed bdubs and taken the hearts)

Considering how well he did in the most recent MCC, i wouldn't be surprised if he had a similar underdog situation to Scar. Everyone underestimated Scar (even though he wasn't a bad player necessarily), but he's improved his pvp skills a TON since he joined MCC, and that definitely helped him win in Secret Life

How about ETERNAL LIFE where everyone gets 40 hearts with FAST regen you get 9 lives the lives are Purple, Violet, Dark Blue, Blue, Light Blue, Light Green, Green, Yellow, Red, everyone is invincible and has a fun time and nobody is able to die but you have to die a specific uncertain way ?
Scar and Jimmy have a strong start, considering Scar's major mining trip and great vantage point on their mountain, but I think ultimately they'll be taken out even earlier thanks to their perceived strength. I'm thinking either Joel, Gem or Impulse for this season. Although, if Jimmy were to win any season so far, this seems to be the one he has the best chance at.
Hear me out. Impulse. Joel doesn’t care whether he wins or loses. Of course he’s competitive, but impulse has gone on at LEAST THREE training arcs. He is getting so so so good at pvp, and legitimately improves every season. He has shown that he is capable of putting in the work, while Joel sort of coasts on being by all means, CRACKED at PvP, but we haven’t seen a lot of looking to improve. I think this is the season that impulse will pop off. Furthermore, he knows who to team with. Think. He became a mole in third life, teamed with Grian, who won the last time in last life, tried to host a pool party in an attempt to make friends in double life, TIES was a good idea from a content standpoint, and secret life he teamed with Scott and gem.

In Double Life Tango was Soul-Linked with Jimmy because between that and the Last-Life Redstone Mishap the Universe just hates him I guess. In Secret Life Joel tried to avenge his fallen friend only to be the first one PVP’d out of the server. Even in Secret Life, Martin had to manage being a red life for the entire season, leading him to die early on into the final fight, though that might have been due to his own karma. It’s not just that Jimmy is Cursed, he actively brings down anyone who gets too close to him.
Imo, I think impulse has a high chance of winning. Jimmy has said b4 that Joel is too reckless to win a life series, and that is kinda proved by his insanely high kill counts. I think Joel could win, but at the same time he sort of jumps into things which risks him placing high?!?! Impulse is a pretty careful person- and he’s done really well in the last seasons and he’s just good at surviving in general tbh! I think him, Joel, gem, ren or possibly Bdubs could win the next life series (but let’s keep in mind etho has been practicing ;3 ) . Oh, I didn't think it put Joel down at all!! As I said in the video, it is all for fun!!! Everyone has "flaws" of why they haven't won yet. (Example: Joel is too reckless, Impulse doesn't have high kill counts, Ren hasn't played in almost 2 years, etc) so it really is anyone's game!

I'll take the first two non-winner predictions for sure, seeing Joel win would be epic, and a victory for Impulse would be quite fulfilling. I hope we don't see a repeat winner as we haven't seen one thus far but to paraphrase Martyn It's just how the life series happens you can't script it.

@@theguy59920 i definitely think that the winner will most likely not try as hard. Not saying they will go easy because no one wants a pity win, but winning doesn't really matter to the previous winner!
Data like this can be somewhat unreliable when put into context, however it is still definitely a factor to be considered. Things like teams, alliances, base location/design, any monopolies, the actual gimmick/challenge of the series, and how much players lean into the story/roleplaying side of things all can have large impacts on the way the game goes. Purely based on data, you have picked out strong players, however now the series has stared we can look at some other factors (I'm mostly going to talk about alliances here). Scar is from a data perspective is not in a strong team so may need other alliances for a better chance, and his base is in a poor location (he's already lost a life because of it). Scott and Impulse are in a large group, which later in the series will leave them vulnerable to infighting or to betrayal if the group splits, or someone turns red, Martyn has already made several choices that, if he keeps doing, may limit his possibilities for alliances later. Gem and Joel have the potential to be a very strong team as the are both high ranking data wise, a small team so less chance for betrayal, not done anything really to make enemies on ep 1, gems also tried to make trade deals with a couple of people which may pave ways for future alliances. Of these 6 you've picked, I believe Gem probably has the best chance, followed closely by Joel, however it's really anyone's game as unpredictable turns of events could occur, and we don't know the extent of what the wildcards could possibly do yet.
Honestly i would love to see gem win or joel. Taking I watch both on hermitcraft, but i could also see trial chambers being in some kind of effect with the next season and seeing how Pearl is cracked at it I could see her placing higher once more. But Joel and Gem have been be pvping a lot on hermitcraft. Its a 50/50 for everyone and I cant wait to see who will win

The Life Series/those creators are actually the ones that got me to start this channel!! They are great family-friendly youtubers that are incredibly entertaining! The Life Series is pretty much just the Hunger Games, but in minecraft. It's so incredibly interesting, so I would definitely recommend watching it!!! And thank you!!!

I don’t Think kill count means too much When it comes to predicting a winner, since you’ll generally have an easier time racking up kills the faster you end up red.
Me, who just hopes that Tango will win one day with either awesome shenanigans or shear dumb luck. One of my favorite content creators with such a particular energy. I wish he could at least take a greater place in the series’ different plots and be recognized has an important member. Am I the only one who roots for him every season?

I dont think scott will win another season because he doesnt really want to. the same goes for pearl even tho she got close in secret life. I generally have the feeling that past winners are more happy with someone else winning and they dont take it as seriously. Thats why i really like the non-wimner prediction. that said i think that average stats even with small sample size compare better then total stats. I do think gem has the highest chance of winning because she did really well in her first season. i can also see joel and impulse but i feel like impulse could be not chaotic enough to make the big plays needed to get the final kills and joel could be too chaotic getting lots of flashy kills but also losing his lifes pretty quickly often. I Also think if ren returns he could be pretty good (his stats are only lacking because he played in so few seasons) and i also would not be suprised if bdubs manages to win.
How would the average kills per season be without gem? She’s an outlier being that she’s only been in one season. And she’s an outlier again the highest average placement with yet again for the same reason. A player’s placement can be drastically different throughout the seasons. Cleo is the best example of this.

My favorite data point I learned is that while Jimmy wasn't out first in secret life, his average placement still went down due to having the most amount of people.

my favorite is that mumbo actually has the lowest average placement and not jimmy.
mumbo was second and third to last in the two seasons he participated in, last life and secret life, these also happen to be the only seasons where the player count was 17, whereas all others had only 14 players. sooo mumbo was 16th in last life and 15th in secret, making his average rank 15.5th
while jimmy was last in every season except secret life, his average placement is still higher than mumbo because of the fact that he's present in ALL seasons including the ones with only 14 players. this means he was 14th in 3rd life, 17th in last life, 14th in double life, 14th in limited life and 16th in secret life, making his average placement 15th!
i think it's also important to consider the storytelling. martyn (as opposed to scott or impulse) won limited life for the drama, pearl won double life (as opposed to her and scott sharing the win) because it created more of a story, etc etc. it's an improv series as much as it's a survival game. that being said, i think you're spot on with the non-winner picks.

I think that scar is much better at the game than some people realize. He even can out and said that secret life wasn’t his favorite season, despite winning. And I think it’s because he was actually trying to win towards the end of the season. Joel is my favorite Life Series Member, hands down. He's definitely my favorite MC Content Creator as well. He does so well in MCC, and is good at movement and pvp. He just doesn't makke good decisions (which he honestlly was much better at during Secret Life, so improvement there). He probably has the best pvp skill in the series, but is put down due to the bad decisions.
I can't wait for him to win a series because I have been rooting for him for so long. HE can truly be a menace once he locks in.

i’ve been rooting for joel since i started watching the series in last life. I feel like his biggest thing holding him back is making goofy mistakes, like falling a ton in limited life (i think he had the most deaths in that season), and things like the failed clutch at the start (caused a death), setting off his own trap in the last episode (made him lose 20 hearts), and letting scott get the kill on bdubs at the very end of secret life. he came really close last season and could’ve won if it wasnt for that. i’m hoping he’ll catch a w soon.

When it comes to measuring kills, I don't actually care as much about someone's total kill count over the entire life series, or average kills per season. Instead, I look at how their kills during a season relate to the overall death count in said season.
For example, getting 3 kills in Limited Life is almost nothing, because that season just had so many deaths. But in Double Life, 3 kills IS a lot, because Double Life only had like 20 deaths. So that would already make you alone responsible for 15% of the deaths!!
I don't count the winner's final deaths as part of the total death counts because those are always more of a formality. Scott's final death in Last Life and Martyn's final (2) death(s) in Limited Life were not vanilla, and Scar in Secret Life didn't even have a final death. I also counted kills slightly different than you did. For starters, i didn't count self-kills. Same goes for kills done by other people playing on your account (this happened a few times in Limited Life). Also, some players got more kills than you showed in your video. But i get that it's hard to keep track of every single kill. Plus, some "kills" are grey areas.
So i dug into the stats of all the Lifers that have PLAYED IN AT LEAST 3 SEASONS. I added up all of the percentages of deaths caused by them in each season they've played in. Then i divided these results by the total amount of played seasons in order to get an average percentage of deaths caused by each player every season
The results are the following:
1. Grian - 11,2%
2. Scar - 10,6%
3. Joel - 9,7%
4. Ren - 9,3%
5. Pearl - 6,6%
6. Scott - 5,8%
7. Martyn - 5,6%
8. Etho - 4,9%
9. Bdubs - 4,3%
10. Impulse - 2,9%
11. Skizz - 2,3%
12. Tango - 1,8%
13. Jimmy - 1,2%
14. BigB - 1,1%
15. Cleo - 0,9%
As you can see, i left out Mumbo, Lizzie and Gem because they have only participated in 1-2 seasons so far. Using low sample size from few seasons would give flawed data. If i were to include everyone however, Gem would be in 1st with 16%. (8 kills out of 50 deaths in Secret Life) But again, she benefits from low sample size. Grian also got 8 kills in his first season and was responsible for 19,5% of the deaths in Third Life. However, i think Gem will remain in the top 5 regardless, because she seems to play these series very aggresively. And she is good at PVP.
That being said, it becomes clear from these statistics that Grian, Scar, Joel and Ren appear to be significantly more aggressive than the other players. And all of the past winners are in the top 7. It leads me to think that either Joel or Ren are strong contenders to win season 6. Grian and Scar already won. However i'm leaning more towards Rendog. A lot of people seem to sleep on Ren, probably because he has been absent for the last two seasons. That's also the reason he doesn't have as many kills as some other players. Based of Real Life, i think he will return next season. Joel could win too, but the entire fandom, including his own fans, have agreed at this point that Joel is reckless. Secret Life was his best shot at winning, but he still managed to fall back into his old habits near the end, when things got more desperate. Though i'd love to see him win as well.
Thus, my hot take is that Ren will win a future season. Mainly because he is dedicated. He is very committed to the roleplay and is determined to get what he wants. In 3rd life, he patiently waited until everyone was online before ordering his Hand to kill him, in order to send off a strong message to the server. In Last Life, he lured Skizz into his spleef trap and got a clean kill. That same season, he was the brain behind the bubblevator ambush that ended up taking out BigB and Scar. And in Double Life, he and BigB spent an entire session secretly digging a tunnel towards the pool party, to bring over an army of zombies. Ren's ability to plan his moves forward and commit to the plan makes him a strong player imo. He also had good placements in the first two seasons. 7th in 3rd life, and 2nd in Last Life. He didn't even die once until Last Life session 8. He got 12th in Double Life, which can be solely blamed on Grian's stalactite. Great kill coming from Grian, but that death was so unlucky for Ren & BigB. Overall, his self-preservation skills are decent.
If not Ren, then my second pick will be Gem.
You worded that EXCELLENTLY. I totally agree that Ren is INCREDIBLY talented. He totally has a shot at winning. At this point, so many different people have great shots at winning. So, it's really hard to tell who can take the crown. Joel, as you and MANY other people pointed out, does make some reckless moves. Sometimes, it's not always his fault as his own dogs hit traps, but at the end of the day, most of his damage is caused by his own misfortunes and mistakes. I definitely forget about Ren sometimes. In Life Series timelines, he's been gone for over a year and a half. He adds SO much to a series and honestly, him creating Dogwarts and forcing people to choose a side is one of the reasons the Life Series became so popular!! He is SO calculated and unfortunately, because he has played 3 of the 5 seasons, his data numbers aren't as high because other people, who played in a 5, have a lot more chances to get kills and make it to the final!!! I definitely think he's a great contender!

This is so good! I love your content style. My only small problem is that some of the categories aren’t balanced for people who didn’t play in every season. For example, my two favourite life series players are gem and Pearl because they are awesome at the game and I consider them realistic options for being winners, but your point system makes it so players with less games played are at a disadvantage than people with more games played. Nonetheless, great video.
@@meganweng6483 i totally agree. There are several issues with the point system. Unfortunately, there is a pretty much an issue with every point system. If you only include seasons with the most people, you limit other seasons in which others did really well in. Of course, it's the Life Series, and no one is going to do great every season. (It's literally the whole point to be the last one standing, so somebody definitely can't have a good season) REGARDLESS, I totally agree with your point, and I just felt that this was the easiest way to do it without it getting really confusing on what I was including or what I was not including!!

I regularly watch 5 life series members, and only two of them are even talked about 😭 scar and grian of course, but then my mumbo, Lizzie, and Jimmy… struggle to say the least.
Anyway, I’d love to see Impulse or Joel get the win for sure. Then again, Gem showing up in season 5 and winning her second season would be awesome and I think she really suits our winners line up.

Scott technically won once but basically won 3 times. He would have won limited life bcuz he had to kill himself twice but impulse and Martin died once. In double life Scott killed himself so pearl could win. And Scott won in last life and Scott always does good

I know righttt, I think Scott is an insanely good player, I was especially amazed with his bow and arrow skills in Limited Life. The only reason he didn't win was for plot reasons lmfao

However, it wasn't his amazing skills handing the win to other players as he just couldn't go on winning so hard, so he decided to sacrifice, his first life he was on literally half a heart and would have died to a tick of fall damadge, and instead of just playing it like literally anyone else in the series he gamed it by dying to martyn, smart.
And his last life he had 2.5 hearts, and either he gave ten hearts to gem or ten hearts to the opposition. The choice is obvious, and a great parralel to scar and pearl, who had the same situation but scar chose not to kill pearl. Great story, but it's not like scott was giving up his chance of winning, he just made the only play better then medicore in that situation.

I really hope Cleo, Lizzy, or Ren win! Lizzy’s Last Life episodes were What introduced me to the series and all the cool people in it, I started watching Cleo’s episodes and loved her POV so much!! I’ve watched it six times now and would gladly watch it again. When last life ended I watched Martyn’s Third Life POV and he and Ren’s lore was so good I’ve watched his Third Life POV four times, since he won I want to see Ren win a season now, if he’s in it again.
Actually, Lizzie's Last Life episodes introduced me to the Life Series too!!! I didn't realize it when I was watching it tho!!! I actually got into the Life Series from watching Joel tho. A lot of people really like Ren and think he'll win too!!!

fun data, but i would say that the kills per season are slightly skewed towards the top of the limited life series, since there are way more kills that season due to the way the season worked with the timers

joel is probably one of if not the best player in the server, he just always manages to do something stupid and die from it. Season 1, make too many enemies. Season 2, (ok thats obvious). Season 3, make WAY too many enemies. Season 4, being too aggressive (and making too many enemies). Season 5, shooting bdubs (seriously I think joel couldve won if he just didnt shoot bdubs at the end, or at least killed bdubs and taken the hearts)

Considering how well he did in the most recent MCC, i wouldn't be surprised if he had a similar underdog situation to Scar. Everyone underestimated Scar (even though he wasn't a bad player necessarily), but he's improved his pvp skills a TON since he joined MCC, and that definitely helped him win in Secret Life

Scar and Jimmy have a strong start, considering Scar's major mining trip and great vantage point on their mountain, but I think ultimately they'll be taken out even earlier thanks to their perceived strength. I'm thinking either Joel, Gem or Impulse for this season. Although, if Jimmy were to win any season so far, this seems to be the one he has the best chance at.
Hear me out. Impulse. Joel doesn’t care whether he wins or loses. Of course he’s competitive, but impulse has gone on at LEAST THREE training arcs. He is getting so so so good at pvp, and legitimately improves every season. He has shown that he is capable of putting in the work, while Joel sort of coasts on being by all means, CRACKED at PvP, but we haven’t seen a lot of looking to improve. I think this is the season that impulse will pop off. Furthermore, he knows who to team with. Think. He became a mole in third life, teamed with Grian, who won the last time in last life, tried to host a pool party in an attempt to make friends in double life, TIES was a good idea from a content standpoint, and secret life he teamed with Scott and gem.
Joel really wants to win too, don't dismiss him like that.
Impulse is my favourite and i really hope he wins lol but seeing Joel win would also be amazing

In Double Life Tango was Soul-Linked with Jimmy because between that and the Last-Life Redstone Mishap the Universe just hates him I guess. In Secret Life Joel tried to avenge his fallen friend only to be the first one PVP’d out of the server. Even in Secret Life, Martin had to manage being a red life for the entire season, leading him to die early on into the final fight, though that might have been due to his own karma.
It’s not just that Jimmy is Cursed, he actively brings down anyone who gets too close to him.

Imo, I think impulse has a high chance of winning. Jimmy has said b4 that Joel is too reckless to win a life series, and that is kinda proved by his insanely high kill counts. I think Joel could win, but at the same time he sort of jumps into things which risks him placing high?!?! Impulse is a pretty careful person- and he’s done really well in the last seasons and he’s just good at surviving in general tbh! I think him, Joel, gem, ren or possibly Bdubs could win the next life series (but let’s keep in mind etho has been practicing ;3 ) . By the way this is all in good fun and I don’t mean to make it sound like I’m putting Joel down lmfao

Oh, I didn't think it put Joel down at all!! As I said in the video, it is all for fun!!! Everyone has "flaws" of why they haven't won yet. (Example: Joel is too reckless, Impulse doesn't have high kill counts, Ren hasn't played in almost 2 years, etc) so it really is anyone's game!

If they played for real, it would be between Scott and Martyn. Fortunately they role play a little so there's a real chance anyone could win.

@@theguy59920 i definitely think that the winner will most likely not try as hard. Not saying they will go easy because no one wants a pity win, but winning doesn't really matter to the previous winner!
Data like this can be somewhat unreliable when put into context, however it is still definitely a factor to be considered. Things like teams, alliances, base location/design, any monopolies, the actual gimmick/challenge of the series, and how much players lean into the story/roleplaying side of things all can have large impacts on the way the game goes.
Purely based on data, you have picked out strong players, however now the series has stared we can look at some other factors (I'm mostly going to talk about alliances here). Scar is from a data perspective is not in a strong team so may need other alliances for a better chance, and his base is in a poor location (he's already lost a life because of it). Scott and Impulse are in a large group, which later in the series will leave them vulnerable to infighting or to betrayal if the group splits, or someone turns red, Martyn has already made several choices that, if he keeps doing, may limit his possibilities for alliances later. Gem and Joel have the potential to be a very strong team as the are both high ranking data wise, a small team so less chance for betrayal, not done anything really to make enemies on ep 1, gems also tried to make trade deals with a couple of people which may pave ways for future alliances.
Of these 6 you've picked, I believe Gem probably has the best chance, followed closely by Joel, however it's really anyone's game as unpredictable turns of events could occur, and we don't know the extent of what the wildcards could possibly do yet.
Honestly i would love to see gem win or joel. Taking I watch both on hermitcraft, but i could also see trial chambers being in some kind of effect with the next season and seeing how Pearl is cracked at it I could see her placing higher once more. But Joel and Gem have been be pvping a lot on hermitcraft. Its a 50/50 for everyone and I cant wait to see who will win

The Life Series/those creators are actually the ones that got me to start this channel!! They are great family-friendly youtubers that are incredibly entertaining! The Life Series is pretty much just the Hunger Games, but in minecraft. It's so incredibly interesting, so I would definitely recommend watching it!!! And thank you!!!

I dont think scott will win another season because he doesnt really want to. the same goes for pearl even tho she got close in secret life. I generally have the feeling that past winners are more happy with someone else winning and they dont take it as seriously. Thats why i really like the non-wimner prediction. that said i think that average stats even with small sample size compare better then total stats. I do think gem has the highest chance of winning because she did really well in her first season. i can also see joel and impulse but i feel like impulse could be not chaotic enough to make the big plays needed to get the final kills and joel could be too chaotic getting lots of flashy kills but also losing his lifes pretty quickly often. I Also think if ren returns he could be pretty good (his stats are only lacking because he played in so few seasons) and i also would not be suprised if bdubs manages to win.

How would the average kills per season be without gem? She’s an outlier being that she’s only been in one season. And she’s an outlier again the highest average placement with yet again for the same reason. A player’s placement can be drastically different throughout the seasons. Cleo is the best example of this.
Without Gem, it would be Martyn in 5th is an average of 5.75 kills per season. 6th would be Pearl with an average of 3.75 kills per season. (Her grand total is 15 and you divide it by 4 [she only played 4 seasons]) and Impulse and Etho are tied for 7th and 8th with an average of 3 kills per season!
