Pearl reaching 3rd place despite missing 3rd Life is kinda cool af. She definitely one of the top tiers. And then she got paired with Scott in Double Life where they were both the last players. I guess Pearl and Scott are quite the duo. Even in Last Life, Limited Life and Secret Life, these two were top placers.

Most people recognize Smajor for how powerful he is, and that is awesome. I think it's awesome the love (and sometimes hate) he gets. Sometimes, though, it feels like Pearl and Martyn get slept on for how awesome their feats are. Both of them blow other contestants out of the water, but it feels like people forget them. It makes me sad since they're two of my favorite personalities, too.
i feel like people always put grian down low (imo he should be higher than pearl + martyn + scar) just because he rarely makes it to top five, but his content is really fun (imo the top moments are all mostly from his pov, such as scar's water bucket jump, the stalactite kill, the secret life final stand, the bad boys, the boogey session, etc), and he has such a high kill count. Scott, on the other hand, plays it safe and is always one of the few to make it to the finales while snatching kills every now and then, and ever since the second season, he's always on the opposing team against grian. They're basically two masterminds on opposite teams, and that's what makes most seasons so good for me. I think they should be top 2, and i really want to see the two team again in the next life series. I feel like they'd make it very very far. (That's also why I felt so bad when grian died when smajor was on 12 hearts in his secret life final stand - if he'd targeted gem or impulse he'd be able to kill all three of them, and it'd be so funny to see the others' reactions to the most powerful team on the server dying to 1 person) Pearl and martyn are great, but i'd still rank them lower than grian & scott, maybe 3rd-6th with scar and joel squeezing in two places somewhere

I love these rankings more than the video's The way that mumbo is placed just higher than jimmy just like how he has died right after him more than once, but at the same time timmy doesn't get even close to his percentage I also think that if pearl had played 3rd life she totally would have placed 1st easily judging by how well she's manage to perform every other season, even though Scott is very good (and every time he has died in secret life was his choice) Gem's placement is always very dubious due to only playing a single season and that being all we have for reference, but I still think 2nd place is very believable if she were to play more seasons

To be honest with you I thoroughly believe that Secret Life was a fluke and Jimmy’s curse will continue causing him be last place again in season 6 if and or when it happens
Yeah Joel is a great pvper and if he made more good decisions in life series he would’ve won but he makes bad decisions which makes his videos more funnier and he makes it to top 5 most times so I think he would win😊
The only 3v1 fights Gem was involved in were the ones where she was in the 3 teaming up on the 1. Even in the end fight, Pearl didn’t actually get any hits on Gem. It was all Scar.
i think the main problem with the life series is you have people who purposely throw, such as grian, joel, scott, even lizzie for content. They all have really good skill but play for the lols which isnt bad at all, qquite the contrary but also doesnt provide accurate skill levels.
I feel like if you calculated the averages it would be very different. This would make it so competeing in only two or three seasons not affect the overall score too much(not counting Gem who would be first for only being in one season.)

Which favours players that have been in more seasons as the maximum points someone can get depends on how many seasons they've played in. For example Gem could have only got a maximum of 17 points whilst Mumbo or Lizzie could only get a maximum of 34 points and Mumbo and Lizzie have only played 1 more season than Gem So I'm sure you could imagine the advantage someone who's been in 5 seasons has over someone who's only been in 1 would have So I'm sure you can imagine
i think the way you went about deciding the overall ranks is unfair to people who have been in fewer season, you should have done it based on each players average placement, Gem got 3rd in Secret Life but 12th overall because it's her only season, people who have never gotten 3rd or higher placed above her simpmy through being in more seasons, that isn't fair
And don’t even get me started on scar. Scar an amazing Minecraft player! His specialty is surviving. If anyone in the life series did half the stuff scar did, solidarity would have been known as second to be out every season.
This system is almost the exact same as if you just took the placement numbers as they are and added them. What was wrong with that? The number of points is just how early they died (it does show that bigb died 8th three times, which is pretty cool) or zero for not being able to be there(???) where you want the highest number, which is almost the same as taking the placements themselves and wanting the lowest number, as well as taking an average for the ones who played in less than five seasons, which you should've done for this system too. So what's with all the fancy gymnastics when you're just making your way to work? To get around the differing number of players and some of them not being present sometimes (and to be unique at all), you could've turned the placements into a percent of how far they got (100% (which is 1/1) in first place, 1/14 or 1/17 for last place) and averaged the percents.
I must ask, with Etho and Joel’s final death in double life it was because of a trapped Nether portal that Joel went through first and then Etho, I know there’s not really someone to “blame” for that death, but since you’re giving less points to the person who’s fault it is, wouldn’t it make more sense to put that on Joel? Even then, Joel was the one who died all the other times with the enderman and then getting fished.

I feel like this only reflects the later seasons. Also impulse got second place for limited life, he places top five most of the time so I’d say he deserves at least top 7.

i have almost the exakt same in a google sheets the only difference is that i took the average of the placements of every player instead of the points
I have my own list on this were I give people slight disadvantiges for every season they competed on so you would have a tie breaker

If it'd been an average placement system than she would've done better but the creator decided a points system.
Which favours players that have been in more seasons as the maximum points someone can get depends on how many seasons they've played in.
For example Gem could have only got a maximum of 17 points whilst Mumbo or Lizzie could only get a maximum of 34 points and Mumbo and Lizzie have only played 1 more season than Gem
So I'm sure you could imagine the advantage someone who's been in 5 seasons has over someone who's only been in 1 would have

i think the way you went about deciding the overall ranks is unfair to people who have been in fewer season, you should have done it based on each players average placement, Gem got 3rd in Secret Life but 12th overall because it's her only season, people who have never gotten 3rd or higher placed above her simpmy through being in more seasons, that isn't fair

This system is almost the exact same as if you just took the placement numbers as they are and added them. What was wrong with that? The number of points is just how early they died (it does show that bigb died 8th three times, which is pretty cool) or zero for not being able to be there(???) where you want the highest number, which is almost the same as taking the placements themselves and wanting the lowest number, as well as taking an average for the ones who played in less than five seasons, which you should've done for this system too. So what's with all the fancy gymnastics when you're just making your way to work? To get around the differing number of players and some of them not being present sometimes (and to be unique at all), you could've turned the placements into a percent of how far they got (100% (which is 1/1) in first place, 1/14 or 1/17 for last place) and averaged the percents.

I must ask, with Etho and Joel’s final death in double life it was because of a trapped Nether portal that Joel went through first and then Etho, I know there’s not really someone to “blame” for that death, but since you’re giving less points to the person who’s fault it is, wouldn’t it make more sense to put that on Joel? Even then, Joel was the one who died all the other times with the enderman and then getting fished.

I Feel Like The Calculation & Ranking Wasn't Fair For The People Who Missed A Season Or More. It Should Have Been An Average Score Of Other Seasons They Were Present For The Seasons They Didn't Joined.
Absent Season's Score = All Seasons They Joined Score ÷ The Number Of Seasons They Joined

3rd Life : 3 Points
Last Life : 3 Points
Double Life : 3.25 Points {(3+3+2+5) ÷ 4 Points}
Limited Life : 2 Points

So Total Points : 16.25 Points

i feel like people always put grian down low (imo he should be higher than pearl + martyn + scar) just because he rarely makes it to top five, but his content is really fun (imo the top moments are all mostly from his pov, such as scar's water bucket jump, the stalactite kill, the secret life final stand, the bad boys, the boogey session, etc), and he has such a high kill count. Scott, on the other hand, plays it safe and is always one of the few to make it to the finales while snatching kills every now and then, and ever since the second season, he's always on the opposing team against grian. They're basically two masterminds on opposite teams, and that's what makes most seasons so good for me. I think they should be top 2, and i really want to see the two team again in the next life series. I feel like they'd make it very very far.
(That's also why I felt so bad when grian died when smajor was on 12 hearts in his secret life final stand - if he'd targeted gem or impulse he'd be able to kill all three of them, and it'd be so funny to see the others' reactions to the most powerful team on the server dying to 1 person)
