Analista, no vi este tipo de comparación con GT7 donde es muchísima mas evidente la diferencia. Creo que se defiende bien el Forza pese a la campaña evidente contra él.

It seems that the release verison completely lacks global illumination from the Sun. And because the lighting model is dynamic, you now cannot have pre-computed GI. So it's like the crucial component of the rendering simply removed. Removed details and reduced draw distance are also noticeable, but don't affect the overall perception that much.

RTGI, they were planning to use it but it got botched from gameplay and only appear in a limited version in replays and garage

I’m shocked there hasn’t been a bigger backlash about this. It’s so obvious the game was downgraded from that June 2022 reveal. The PC version doesn’t even have global illumination which they said was happening.

It's so bad that when it launches to the general public it will explode in negative comments. And it has. 6:39 this shot exemplifies exactly what bothers me the most about this game. There is something wrong with their light model... a lot of the times cars look dull, sad and out of place. The car paints sometimes has this weird bright glow that make them look like they are wrapped in a matte plastic or something

It seems demo uses more raytracing on cars.
It would improve a lot if they remove this weird grey filter. Also they reduced Draw Distance of Foliage, ground looks barren at some distance
The biggest difference is they made the game look washy,grey,not enough contrast and colours look pale.If they fix it,there won't be that much difference,graphics itself is not that much downgraded,looks fine compared to the reveal.They just need to recalibrate colours and it will be much much better already

it also looks like there was drops on resolution on the current version where there were none on the reveal. however there seems to be better road textures and better backgrounds on the current version.

In prior FM and FH games photomode does improve the car model complexity for only the player's car. It is why every single FM/H game has a loading screen to enter photomode. That loading sequence calls in the higher resolution version of the player's car model.
Driveclub instantly switches and starts processing the image as soon as input stops. Users can take photos at any time using the PS4 Share and PS5 Create buttons.
GT games have a loading screen to "prepare the camera," and to be honest their virtual camera does much more than most photomode cams in videogames do... so, maybe the loading is legitimately to pull the requisite logic into RAM because there is no difference in visuals regarding lighting models and LoDs from gameplay to replays. The only difference in LoDs applies to cars in GT7 specifically allowing all cars to be LoD 0 in replay photomode's camera staging mode. The only other difference comes after taking a picture and processing the image. This includes a far higher DoF implementation than realtime rendering allows and significantly more motion samples.
You can take photos in GT7 on PS5 without RT, which reduces image processing time dramatically. The photomode RT is exactly the same quality and resolution as replay mode RT, shadow quality is also unchanged in photomode and with respect to trackside detail, GT7 makes no changes there either when using photomode.
All prior GT games handled Photomode similarly to GT7 (all the way back to GT4 on PS2), with the exception of using LoD 0 cars, that seems new to GT7 on PS5 alone. Photos can be taken as screenshots or saved to allotted game storage and exported to PS5's gallery or uploaded to GT's in-game social media platform via GT7's Showcase menu (similar to how Forza handles image sharing these days).

This gameplay reveal was supposed to show the power of the XSX as mentioned in the description of the original xbox yt channel video.

Can you please do the same comparison with the 2022 reveal trailer and at least the Xbox Series X, and if possible the Series S because the developers specifically stated that the visuals that were shown during the 2022 presentation, including the ra-ytracing scenes were possible on both the Xbox Series X/S which we know is completely not true. @@crust5909 there's an RT mode on Series X, though not as beautiful as the PC version. Not sure about the Series S though, it's way weaker than the X. I think that was more the guy in charge of the marketing than the dev on this one. What's doable with one car might not be on 24 cars. I guess, having RT with 24 cars is kinda a prowess in itself on those consoles. Are you holding a grudge for a specific reason?

The 2022 reveal had RTGI that's missing from the final game. RT reflections have also been downgraded, especially on Xbox. Night lighting is also a step back.

En consolas el juego esta muy bien , tomando en cuenta el hardware que tienen las consolas , que hayan conseguido 60fps completamente estables con 2 efectos de Raytracing y resolución variable es aplaudible
Es evidente que había que hacer concesiones para conseguirlo, pero el resultado final se sigue viendo excelente.
Pero en pc podían haber empujado el juego a todo lo que da y que la gente ajuste los settings según su ordenador.
No entiendo por que no lo lanzaron como el el gameplay del anuncio

certamente tivemos um downgrade aqui, acho que o principal para mim são as cores, certas cores no de 2022 estão muito linda e no de 2023 estão um pouco mais opacas e isso faz o de 2023 parecer mais inferior, ainda sim aqui temos o melhor jogo de carro em gráfico e jogabilidade na minha opnião, um ótimo trabalho da turn10.
Edit: O vídeo do El Está com erros e problemas de cores, então desconsidere totalmente as cores e reflexos, o jogo está Muito mais lindo que essas imagens que ele fez essas comparações e ele também não colocou a parte da roda gigante a noite corretamente porquê precisa habilitar isso já que é um festival ou algo tipo, então definitivamente aqui não temos um downgrade grande, são pequenos aspectos que no final do produto não prejudicaram a qualidade do jogo, retiro também oque eu disse sobre o " Excelente vídeo El " já que ele não se preocupou em capturar as imagens corretamente assim como a IGN o fez, portanto para vocês que estão em dúvidas olhem outros comparativo já que aqui foi mal feito.

Sobra decir que hay mucha diferencia sobre todo en la iluminación final, texturas de césped, superficies de pistas, y algo extraño como que los coches han perdido brillo teniendo un tono más apagado;
Algo me dice que la versión PC la han querido adaptar lo más cercana posible a la versión XBOX SERIES X, ya que si no las diferencias habrían sido más que notables,
si os fijáis incluso los reflejos e iluminación con RAY-TRACING en Ultra de PC coinciden casi con SERIES X.
Definitivamente es un muy buen juego y gráficamente está muy bien pero queda lejos de ese gameplay de 2022.

Está de moda que los juegos ahora tienen que correr a 4K nativos o escalados y a 60 frames;
Pues los nuevos motores gráficos y ultimas técnicas de renderizado, colisión, sombreado en tiempo real, RT y todo lo que me dejo… son muy pesadas para el ancho de banda de estas consolas en concreto con esa CPU y GPU de tres años.
Que tú con una 1650 vas que chutas? cojonudo, pero juegos nuevos exigentes? no sé a qué resolución ni framerate, Quake II seguro que te irá bien eso sí macho.
@@victorio681 Unreal siempre ha sido así, una demo no basta para declarar lo que dices, en U4 se ve algo similar juegos como Vienes 13 a pesar de usar el mismo motor no se acerca a Gears 5, todo depende de la optimización y no es algo que puedas asegurar en un demo y menos en pc.
La verdad que siempre a pasado eso no? Supongo que lo que hacen siempre es trabajar con el PC y hacen los trailers con dicha plataforma para que se vea lo mejor posible, luego lo intentan correr en consola y ven como se cae a pedazos jajaja, entonces para equiparar lo bajan un poco. Por suerte hay juegos que no han corrido esa mala suerte, hay algunos que en PC están otra generación arriba, por ejemplo Cyberpunk 2077 con Path tracing + DLSS 3.5 y frame generation, Tengo la suerte de poder jugarlo y se ve de lo mejorcito de hoy en dia.

@@agyl2251busca cualquier Gameplay de Absolutamente Cualquier persona en TH-cam que lo juegue en Ultra y verás que en cada escena va Mejor que lo que se ve en el vídeo, obviamente hay un Downgrade pero no es tan abismal y se limita más a cosas que literalmente eran innecesarias en el juego como las plantitas que habían en lugares que el jugador nunca vería o algunas Grietas que tampoco se apreciarían mientras corres, eran una carga absurda de recursos gastados innecesariamente, pero la iluminación en la versión Final no es tan mala como se ve en este video y ni muchísimo menos tan oscura, los reflejos también se ven de mayor calidad y muchas texturas en general, ya te digo que si hay un Downgrade comparado a lo visto en 2022, no lo niego para nada, pero no es un Downgrade como el que se ve en este video que literalmente parece un mal juego de Xbox One en algunos momentos, y ni hablar de los colores que en este video se ven extremadamente apagados y el juego realmente no se ve ni de cerca tan gris, hay un Bug cuando cambias los Gráficos y no reinicias el juego te suceden todos estos errores y Turn10 y Microsoft lanzaron un comunicado advirtiendolo, el Analista simplemente no le importó que su video está mal grabado y no lo eliminó y grabó de nuevo como realmente se debe.

Si una PC tiene ese nivel gráfico estando en ULTRA, en Series x debe ser igual.
En bien sabido que la versión de PC debería ser superior, aunque sea por mínimo al de consola.
El problema es que no se especifican las caracteristicas de la pc ni las opciones de graficos añadidas, por eso es mejor si se hace la comparativa en la consola pues las opciones graficas ya vienen establecidas

Yo uso una RTX 2080 y el juego se ve como en la demo asi que esa comparativa se cae por los suelos desde ese momento. Para que me salgas con un comentario así significa que no tienes ni idea de computadoras o como se deben hacer comparativas.

The game looks like it had the same problem as FM7. Some how being too dark while being overexposed. This has nothing to do with the brightness bug btw.
Look at the maple valley night section. Too dark. And the day looks washed out. Its the developers not implementing environmental lighting and gamma settings correctly. Or the engine just doesnt do lighting well.
what makes it worse is that this is compared with pc on max settings, so on series x the image quality will be worse. but dont get me wrong, this game still looks good. the only problem is that this game doesnt the same WOW factor like when the first time i saw FM7 gameplay on xbox one x

Looks like the Demo had raytraced Global Illumination like they promised would be in the game - but isn't. That's why the lighting looks so wrong. They likely wanted it to be an option on the 30fps visuals mode but for some reason couldn't get it in the final code.
Maybe, as always, consoles couldn't look that worse comparing to PC version?

Vaya pedazo de downgrade que nos comimos, confiaba cuando menos en la versión de PC, parecía que se iban a marcar algo al estilo Playground Games (esa gente son magos), pero pues bueno. Igualmente sigue siendo top gráfico y le voy a meter una cantidad de horas anormal, pero si me encuentro ligeramente decepcionado, un poquitín.
Hay mucho bobo diciendo downgrade downgrade, pero mas que un downgrade pareciera un rediseño completo de todos apartados, me refiero a que las texturas y modelos no coinciden del todo, es como si fuese la misma pista en diferentes juetos y eso es muy extraño, el juego sigue siendo un portento tecnico pero esto es extraño

Veo que la gente está haciendo mucho drama a lo estúpido, Forza no se ve tan mal como lo pintan los Trolls, se ve genial, tiene bien rango dinámico a nivel visual y es fotorrealista, la gente que critica quiere que todo sea colorido o irreal cuando te das cuenta que las pistas en la vida real son super fofas y cuadradas, obviamente tiene carencias pero no al extremo como lo quieren dejar ver.

A versão final está muito boa, mas definitivamente é claro que houve uma notável redução na qualidade gráfica. O downgrade em si já faz parte da realidade dos jogos a tempos, mas confesso que esperava que esse novo Forza Motorsport iria fazer jus ao trailer de gameplay, principalmente por está em desenvolvimento a tanto tempo e ser focado na nova geração.
Cara eu nem ligaria para isso se implementassem danos visuais e efetivos no veículo. Tipo pneus estourando, rodas saindo, capô saindo radiador e peças soltando... Nenhum jogo faz e achei que essa geração já permitiria tal evolução.

Reveal 2022 looks like they run the game on a very high end pc, 2023 launch looks like we can only play xbox series x/s game graphics settings in all platforms.
So far, it looks like the shadows and lighting were better in the trailer.
Is the gameplay with max settings?
Which platform is the game play footage on?
I just have questions.
I am going to be playing this game on PC when it releases on the 10th since I have Gamepass.
Edit: I also notice that it's at a different time of day, so the light from the sun is casting differently through the trees.

I have to say there is drastic difference in road textures on PC between High and Ultra render quality. Ultra is quite taxing though, I play on High as dips to 52fps are annoying and I like to keep some ray tracing on.
And for the lighting - its heavy lifting is actually done by ray tracing, which looks glorious on max settings (as good as in the trailer, just a tad less saturated) but needless to say be prepared to sacrifice around 35% of your frame rate.
This footage was manipulated for making it look worse. By this date, u may now be playing it in gamepass and realized how much the difference is cuz the uploader doesnt even specify the pc setup or the settings, just say max settings rt on.
It's a sucks, even in DriveClub the graphics weren't worse than what was in the game trailer, and later the graphics only got better.
It's really better now.

so much ruckus and hype, and this crap doesnt get 1/3 close to what RDR2 has achieved way back in 2018, Rockstar set a bar so high that no other devs can even tap it, and that's hilarious to me HAHAHA, thanks for this video, it kept me from wasting my time to crack this game and play it for free.

Reveal was in engine i believe so even today it can probably achieve that but most likely not at a stable frame rate. Even with those trade off it looks really amazing and the dynamic weather system is really amazing. Turn 10 really did a commendable job here.

@@ryutenmen on the latest hardware, also the reveal demo was best case scenario for lighting and time of day, the part that showed foliage that latest bucks didn’t have would be removed for performance since that amount of track detail is unnecessary for the performance hit.
@@rileyvosper411 lots of words to say what I've said - the trailer was carrying a kind of bait with all those fancy extras that didn't make in the real game because the Xbox couldn't runt it at constant 60, like the trailer showed.

Ich finde das Downgrade nicht so schlimm. Wer bleibt im Foto Modus stehen und sieht jede Textur oder Felsen hinter den Track an. Es soll sich gut fahren und sieht trotzdem beeindruckend aus.

supongo que la una de las diferencias es la textura lisa, siendo un cambio artístico mas que de rendimiento porque una textura con bumpmapping ya está, pero es más lisa, se creyeron que cambiandola seria mejor pero es el principal problema en los juegos actuales (querer hacer todo limpio y plano para ser visualmente atractivo) por lo cuál termina dando la impresión de que todo es artificial no hay nada orgánico y Natural
eso pasa cuando quieren hacer algo perfecto, pero lo perfecto en la realidad es la imperfección, lo cual es lo orgánico.

@@Vaaasssno, en el momento en el que muestran la textura de la pista se ve claramente que posee una textura diferente independientemente de si es menor resolución le faltan detalles como las grietas, además ya posee bumpmaping osea que el rendimiento es el mismo..
