Tried to install the newest version of Watch Designer Application from Samsung for Mac OS Catalina and get a Java 6 error when I try to open the app. Very frustrating... trouble shooting seems complicated...
I got same message on my mac that i have java already installed but i couldn't find were it was, so i visit this site below and downloaded the java JDK "macos intaller" and it works fine :) hope it will help others with the same problem :) www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-jdk14-downloads.html

Hi: i noticed that watch faces available are having two different interfaces (one when arm is hanging or resting and other one is when someone want to watch time or use watch). i saw when one interface replace other it feels a jerk (not a smooth transition). is there any way i can keep only one interface ?
I've been looking for an intermittent fasting watch face, something that will sync with my phone and use the preset times that I set. I've downloaded all the face creator apps and this is looking tougher than I thought. Any ideas? I just want a ring timer that's say yellow for 16 hours and green for 8 hours of the day for example.

There are no files. It's black background with a custom digital typeface font and made everything low font size to save on battery. It's only text. Also I don't have it anymore but it will take you 5 min to recreate. By now I already have made a new one.

You must get a notification on the watch promoting you too use debugging on that wifi connection. Forget wifi connection, enable debugging, reboot to be sure, reconnect to your WiFi connection.
you may not see this as its a bit late but my galaxy watch 40mm isnt connecting after scanning the menu just closes and when i open it it says no compatible devices found again do you know what i should do? (I've tried restarting my watch multiple times)
I had issues connecting as well. The important thing is to enable debugging BEFORE you connect to WiFi. So forget network on the watch and re-add it with debugging on

Hello, I can't get any author certificate. I fill in the form but then it ask me to login my samsung account but the form is empty and there is no imput form to fill in. Same as requesting distributor certificate, it just won't let me go trough the connected device ID which it shows on the form but won't let me select it. any suggestion?
I tried to download the current program but unfortunately it gave me an error when I tried to log in to the Samsung website. And from what I saw on some forums, I'm not the only one with login problems.

I have an issue with GWS, I cant seem to have the hands aligned. I believe the images imported are centered perfectly before I import them into GWS. I also played around with the pivot setting but its still impossible to have it rotate correctly. What could be the issue? Thanks
The proccess of connecting your PC to your watch changed if your watch is on Android 13 or higher and it took me a sec to figure out, so heres what i did: When you click the plus, youll be given more options than just the IP. Youll be given IP Address, IP Port, Pairing Number, and Pairing Port. The IP Address is the same and the IP Port is as it displays on the Wireless Debugging menu. Once you've typed those in, click "Pair New Device" or whatever it says and then enter the new port number (after the :) as the Pairing Port and enter the pairing code as shown Hope this helps

for private use i think its ok. for comercial use i think you could draw some well known character and put him in, but you get issues if you put in logos of shows, or art made by others... generally if you use things commercial you didnt made alone from scratch you always need to check well

First enter the mac adres with the : into the programm, after that the ip of the watch. Ip is obtained by long pressing on the wifi name in watch. Good luck

Do you need to stay connected to WiFi after you uploaded your watch face design to your watch? I can imagine that staying connected to WiFi costs (extra) battery life. Under normal conditions the watch is only connected to my phone via Bluetooth.

I am using bitmap font to mimic the new watch 4 face on the 3 but getting the perfect size for the bitmap images so that they fit the display properly was a pain in the @$$. I wish they would allow us to resize the bitmap images with in the software itself.
Is there any lag when using your own design? I've used 3rd party apps that lag when you wake up the watch, the hands skip to the current time instead of already being there.

Hi.. Do you by any chance know if there's a way to "crop" and reposition the images you add with "change image" in the set button option? I like the idea of tapping the watch to have a diff image show up whenever I want but the image position is completely random and off center... I tried to make it 512x512 on photoshop and I thought that would be enough but apparently it's not cause it stretches the image. :/ Ideally I'd like to NOT try to upload 926391 images in different positions until I find the position that fits the screen.. lol Kinda strange there's no option to sort those images, or maybe I'm blind?

Because I doubt it uses Java 6. Get a newer version like 11 or 12 id say. Or research which is needed.

Login to the wifi while debug is on. You must give permission, should get a pop-up on the watch

You need to forget the wifi and reconnect to it with developer options on.

@@SanderCokart that don't tell what formats are needed. GIF, JPG, PNG which type of file is what I meant... sorry.
