many thanks for this ,i was born in 1949 on st leonards avenue ,the snicket u walked up to your right were old bungalows .which were built after the war prefabs they called them ,i was born at my auntys bungalow .then lived at my grandmas on silver street before that was demolished.got a lot of family in thrybergh .i love the place ,very nostalgic watching the walk to st leonerds chuch ,went to many a familly wedding ,and funerals .my grandparents and great grandparents buried across the road and other familly members.will watch this over and over again as i now live on the east coast .but will forever have thrybergh in my heart .xxxthanks
There is now The Tap (pub) where the Deer Farm is. And for what it's worth there is a field that is quite nice for walking the dog just by Mingy Lane, which is just off the main Doncaster Road. But great video enjoyed watching it!
This is great, but there is a part of Thrybergh that never seems to get a mention. They used to call it, "back o tins". It would be great to see this on a video. It's where I was born.
