- Credit to Freejam for the song, they are a game developer company known for Robocraft 1 and 2. This song is the queue theme for Robocraft 2.
Mods used are Android tiers, search and destroy, save our ship 2 and larger faction bases. You might have noticed the androids forgot rifles are a ranged weapon, this is because the search and destroy mod is broken for ranged at the moment.
All androids did not have shooting or melee above 2. Sheer numbers kept every defense tied down until they were overrun. On fortified bases, I found it to be more effective to assault it with masses of basic androids rather than expensive and highly capable ones.

@@Reavan07 I tried commenting on your post 3 times now, don't know what's happening. But I actually can't figure out how to get them to shoot due to a mod conflict. They just hit everything in melee with the rifles.

You could play with search and destroy :) so that you land and put all your troops in search and destroy mod so they play on their own to really collapse on the enemy fortress !

I wanna see a mod that turns rimworld into a strategy game where you send units out to other areas and it’s easier to build new bases and manage units and bases have new defences to fight through
@@knatureknight7504 that's everything I want in rimworld. A mod called outposts expanded does something similar. It creates structures and settlements on the world map that are run automatically with a certain task in mind.

@@l_CAS the colonists used are from a mod called android tiers. Androids can be charged with electricity. It is still possible from farming to feed them meals but then I couldn't lock them in a closet.

@@luizlexis7508 I experimented with a few different tiers and created dedicated T4 armies after this. Their learning rate allowed me to passively train them with books and simulated firefights, reaching an average level of 12. They ended up being a lot better as a defensive army against human and android raiders. Still, you don't need to see or point very well to hit something the size of a barn, so I kept thousands of them for mechanoid raids. I think I can make one T4 to every eight T1.

Like @sheicode3748 said, it's sped up 4x. If you notice in the video, the shooting sounds are shorter than they should be. I do also just have the best processor for this game and a performance boosting mod called rocket man.

I really wish rimworld allowed you to do more with the map. Like being next to allies should reduce the danger of a region, and you should be able to do something to help pacify the region. Maybe not make it totally safe. But there should be modifiers you can mess with.
@@OttoKreml me too. It seems like the developer of rimworld isn't interested in depth. The world map could have been such a cool endgame with its dynamics. Mechanoids could have started to overrun the planet, new factions could rise or existing ones could expand. Maybe severe weather could force a refugee crisis. It just feels like a very dead game on the inside.

@@MarcinWilk-td3jg a ryzen 7 7800X3D. A newer model of it should release in a month or two, these X3D chips do the best in games like this.

Animals are normally turned off in the dev options since there's never any interaction between them in my playstyle.
Making many enemies ensures no 20+ pawn trading caravans.
"Rocket man" optimizes some things, I don't know if it has any effect on pawn numbers. If not these four, then it's mostly just a good computer. There isn't a better processor for this game.

@@Rexini_Kobalt there's a mod that lets you pause pawns, purpose built to run the game faster so I can actually pass days in 1000+ pawn colonies. It freezes them in time essentially. As for how smooth it's running now, the footage is sped up 4x.

My playstyle needs an enormous amount of resources that only deep drilling can satisfy. So for now its only for the dropships.
@@domchubs5836 well, considering how much every won space battle gives you, you may wanna just send a small scanning ship to provoke ship battles and send your dropships to attack while evading attacks it and keeping distance.

This is what vanilla balance believes a colony should be able to handle every week. Makes you wonder why the game always creates bigger and bigger raids all the time. Wouldn't seem to make sense unless the entire planet only cares about doing it to only one colony.
I've always had a complaint about this. Maybe I've played rimworld too much but I'm starting to see how much potential it lost, like there's so many game mechanics that are just touched on. AI just moves forward toward the enemy, raids just get bigger numbers and the world map might as well be dead without you.

No debug was used. But you can actually craft these colonists at a workbench from the android tiers mod.
