How to Autotune the ND721800 Fardriver controller using a USB cable | No Bluetooth dongle required

- Trying to figure out the configuration without any clear instructions has been clearly challenging. There isn't much information out there on these controllers, and i asked other friends who also had a Fardriver controller if they were familar with programming with the provided USB cable. None of them were familar with programing by PC via USB cable. Searching TH-cam at the time i wasnt able to find a video going over the process, so I decided to create one. d I am setting up my 800A/1800A BEAST of a controller, the ND721800 via USB cable. I made the video to help others who decide to walk down this same path.

Awesome video for ones without Bluetooth adapter!!!! That's a lot to figure out! And I noticed the software looks totally different on PC. It looks easier to program. Thanks for the feedback

I am using Bluetooth to connect with FarDriver Controller. But I have a power supply 72V-20A to supply for Motor Controller. Can I run Autolearn in FarDriver App?

Thanks for the handy vid, however i do not understand how to connect the male 4 pin connector (same as in your vid) to A USB port as they are different colour wires and in your video you have 3 wires in the connector, I have 4 wires on my fardriver controller connector and there are 4 wires on the USB cable of different colours. so i am confused and stuck with how to proceed. PLZ HELP!

There is no program version 45 in your archive, there are only 16 and 21.

I'm really lost about some of thoses, among them are : Weak feature, i dont know what it can be. / PID: My default setting after auto learn doesnt match the doc provided, and i'm a bit afraid of damaging my motor or controller, i dont know which one to choose among the 15 provided tbh) / and pretty much all the fonctions panel, i'm lost about what does what and the difference between speedpulse and accpara ..

I tried it with moto english 38 , 21 and 45 and i can still not recieve frames

Does that controller put out 800A on the battery amps and 1800A on the phase?? Can you battery cells handle that power?

hello I have a problem with my far driver nd 72360 I have a qs 138 when I do the self-learning the motor does not turn in the right direction what should I do?
go to parameter and you will see a field called direction, changing this setting from whatever it's set to (1 or 0) will reverse the motor direction

How much did it cost u to build ur bike?
Right now!! I have $6.5K invested. This price will eventually go up even higher when it's time to replace the battery. This new controller is battery amp hungry so I'll need to build another battery to satisfy it's hunger. But overall a great investment beats $5 a gallon for gas. Cost me less than $3 to charge it and Im getting about 50 miles before I'm charging again. Even then I have 1/4 battery left.

Do you have to autotune every time you unplug the battery?
Not if you have the power cord connected properly. It should keep the existing setting programmed into memory. Make sure you save settings after you Auto program. That locks whatever settings you selected in. Good luck!

Fardriver app for Android? It's called Motornet. It can be found in the Google play store!
Thanks I did find it but I can't get it to connect to my Bluetooth 😐.I also have the PC cable but the PC can't find the controller either?

Did you buy the Bluetooth dongle, which is sold separately?
If you didn't buy it, then that would explain why you can't find the controller.
If you follow the instructions you should be able to connect using the USB cable. It works exactly as I've shown. I would check to make sure the controller/USB cable is recognized.

Terrible controller! It don't have hill hold controller. 300$ with no hill hold control. It badger than Votol, don't buy it.
