I've never heard of an olive & chicken pairing in Louisiana or the South. Maybe the olives were to mimic a Muffuletta olive relish. ?!? But, a muffuletta doesn't include chicken. Curious.

i’m such a sucker for sweet and spicy chicken and that dish looks sooo good, the only thing that stresses me out is the price,,, and the olives ? i feel as tho that should be a side thing or something bc i can’t imagine chicken tasting good with that
