    When you have the residency, I understand that can travel within Europe easily. However, does the residency allow you to travel outside of Europe with no visa or you would have to apply for visa to visit countries like the US, Canada, and some middle eastern countries

      Thanks for your question. No, holding a European residency doesn't become a factor when travelling outside of Europe

    Liana, thanks for your informative yet concise video. I have a question, through rental agreement I suppose one gets temporary residnecy for the course of the 5yrs period. Does that temporary residnecy too allow visa free access to rest of schengen or it’s only post 5yrs of leasing when one becomes permanent residence that he’ll get access to the region. I’ll appreciate if you respond to my query. Regards.

      Hello, Thank you for your question. The program grants permanent residency from day 1 of acceptance (not temporary residence) This means you have visa-free access to the Schengen as soon as your residency permit is granted. The 5-year term is related to how long you have to maintain the minimum lease of € 10,000 per year. Feel free to contact us if you have more questions: www.latitudeworld.com/contact/

    Is there a path to citizenship after complete years in residency

    • @LatitudeWorld
      @LatitudeWorld  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, though it would require a lot of time spent in Malta and persistence! It's possible to apply after around 6 years, but generally speaking, it takes over a decade of living in Malta to be able to naturalise. If you are interested in Malta citizenship, you could also consider the MEIN program. Get in touch if you would like to discuss your circumstances with our team!

    Seems like the figure €110,000 is inaccurate. 5 years into minimum €10,000 = €50,000. Plus the €100,000 donation. So at a minimum its €150,000. I say "at a minimum" because the above is too silly a mistake to make which suggests your firm is deliberately understating the cost which in turn gives rise to the question of are there other costs and fees and surcharges you have not mentioned. While I'm on the subject, being upfront about how much your firm would charge for its services in the same video would allow a potential client to make an informed choice and reflect favourably on your credibility.

      The MPRP takes 6 - 8 months and, upon completion, gives applicants PR. Citizenship would require a lot of time spent in Malta and persistence! Good question! It's possible, but quite difficult. It would require substantial time spent in Malta to achieve this as a goal. Please contact us to learn more at info@latitudeworld.com

    If you go the lease route, after 5 years we should still have an address in Malta. so we have to rent a place still I reckon?

    • @LatitudeWorld
      @LatitudeWorld  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, thanks for your question! Yes, after 5 years, even though applicants have permanent residence (for life), at the point where they need to renew the residence card, they need to show a residential lease (no minimum budget). Please contact us with any further questions!

    My friend's family had applied through a famous law firm in Malta - it has been 14 months after submission of the completed application with all supporting documents. No response till date - no information either ! Is the Maltese Govt serious about this PR - if so why does it not give a chance to even enquire about the status except through the agent who knows little ! They are beginning to think there is some fraud going on...

      Hello, thanks for your question.
      I understand your concerns, but wish to reassure you that the government takes the MPRP very seriously and aims to process applications efficiently. There can be delays due to various reasons, including the current high application volumes, and delays caused by the (third-party) background checks.
      Please rest assured that the MPRP is a legitimate programme and we encourage patience during this time. If you have any further concerns or questions, feel free to contact us directly for assistance.
