I actually saw this type of tree at Walmart about 8 years ago, I had to touch it to see if it was real, they are so beautiful. My daughter in law bought one about 5 years ago, and it’s my favorite tree ever.

I'm looking outside my window at five real Christmas trees. And they have the same shape as the artificial one. Top third much thinner than bottom section. So wow 😍 very realistic looking for sure. Can't wait for you to decorate it ☺️.

Balsam Hill has some of the most realistic looking artificial Christmas trees I've seen. Nice that they provide gloves. I always wore long sleeves when fluffing trees because of the scratches.

I remember when you unboxed a frasier fir for Balsam Hill a couple of years ago and it was gorgeous, and this European fir tree is just as beautiful Chris!! Growing up in lower Michigan we always had a Scotch Pine Christmas tree, full and lush. The best part for me was we most often did the choosing on or near my birthday in early December. To this day, they are my favorite tree for Christmas but as a New Englander for a good part of my life, they haven’t been easy to find. Age has moved me into faux trees with obvious advantages but I will ALWAYS find the most joy in a Scotch Pine! As you have always done Christopher, you made this realistic tree look fabulous!
That’s a great looking tree, we bought Balsam Hill last year and it was the best thing we did to tell you the truth. The top of the tree is made a bit sparse on purpose, I believe, because it looks much more natural that way. To tell you the truth, if you didn’t tell anyone that it’s a fake tree I doubt they’d notice unless on close inspection.

Thank you so much for this video. I loved the tree before I saw this set-up, getting into the detail really has helped me make up my mind. It so reminded me of my trip to Austria and Vienna for the Christmas markets. Real trees were everywhere that looked just like this.
TIP……….Always put a piece of collapsed cardboard under the tree stand before you put the tree together. It allows for easily sliding the tree out from the wall to fluff the branches, as well as decorating the tree, and then sliding it back near the wall where you want it. Once you add a tree skirt you won’t see the cardboard. 😊 🌲
I needed this yesterday setting mine up! I put it all together and fluffed and then I couldn’t move it, so I had to take the top two sections off to move it.
I have this Balsam Hill European Fir Christmas Tree. I purchased it two years ago 2022 and I purchased the brown wood tree Box to go under it. Standing alone, the Tree is beautiful, but trying to decorate it is another story. The bottom is so wide and the upper part of the tree is much narrow. So, I only used it for one year and it's in my attic now. I purchased another Balsam Tree "BH Nordmann Fir Tree" 7 ft last Christmas 2023 and it's a beautiful tree and much easier to decorate. I'm an artist and I love a tree that is not over decorated "Less is More" and I get many compliments on my trees. This year I have my eye on another beautiful Balsam Hill Tree and it comes in .7.5ft. I can't wait to order it next week for that is when it comes in. For me, I put the first part in and fluff it out and follow suit with all the parts. Much easier that way. Merry Christmas 2024 to all in Jesus Christ Name Amen and Amen.

I love this tree, thank you for sending me the link in the other video comment I made. I am seriously thinking about buying it. Our tree and house are decorated now, and I know my wife will throw a fit if I buy it now. Hopefully Balsam Hill will have an after Christmas sale and I will get it then. But not a prelit because my current tree is, well was a prelit tree and I couldn't ever find the burned out or missing bulbs that caused a couple of sections to not light. I spent hours this year looking and then cutting out all the lights and cords. My arms look like I had a fight with my cat LOL. Anyway, again I thank you for the link to this video. I guess I missed it last year. Have a very Merry Christmas, my TH-cam friend.

Looks great. The top of these trees are naturally sparse with those longer branches. That’s what makes them so perfect. When we buy live trees here we get untrimmed commercial grade so they don’t look like a pyramid. And you can actually hang ornaments on all the inside branches without them slanting. If they are to dense we just cut out excess branches. On older artificial trees I’ll leave a few rows out. But this is a lovely tree.
Such a beautiful tree!! Thank you for the pointers, I have the Sanibel 6.5" tree from Balsam Hill and all the decorations are Balsam Hill. Expensive but worth every penny. Love the shape of your tree, it looks realistic, and love the sparce top, it gives realism.

Thank you for doing this video. I have Balsam Hill garland and wreaths in my home but have always bought a real tree since I moved up north. Now I am considering making the move back to artificial for quite a few reasons. When I saw this European one, I went googoogaga over it because of the unruly uncut appearance! Ultimately, since I only do one tree, I need it to be huge and full, but short to fit with my low ceiling. This is by far, the best looking tree on the market. Only wished they made it a little bit wider overall and more full on the top portion but still keeping the shape which makes it look more real. Because of those reasons, I am so sad that I cannot move forward on this one. 😢
that tree is so gorgeous..i know I've given them grief before about being overpriced but I'd pay for that tree because Christmas is my favorite and I put up my tree and decore first of November. So it's worth the money to me because it's out for 3 whole months.
The first of November in my country it's considered bad luck to put your tree up until the second weekend in December don't you get fed up with the tree and is the holiday made to feel so long away in November

I bought a European Fir a few years ago from Balsam Hill and it really is nice for an artificial tree. Mine is the smaller 5'6" version though.
