I purchased my first drone after watching one of Dustin 's videos(Mavic pro). Since then I have purchased a Mavic Pro2(my son confiscated, Parrot Disco(crashed into gator filled lake). All inspired by Dustin's videos. I'm due for an update. Thank you Dustin!
Have your son get the Parrot Drone, he took the Mavic, it’s only right. It’s not like it’s Crocodiles, Alligators are docile. If he’s fast and doesn’t splash around like a baby deer he most probably be ok. If the drone isn’t readily visible hook him up with goggles and a snorkel.
If it doesn’t work out, you will be able to buy a new drone without having it taken.
Hey Dustin I didn’t see you use the tool to tighten the props. It’s really important you use the tool as there have been instances where customers props have come off in flight. I work for swellpro in the uk.

When SwellPro didn't see it in my unboxing they asked me if I got it. I double checked and there it was hiding wrapped in the lanyard bag. I had already shot this and didn't even know one was included. My advice is to not hide it away in the lanyard bag. Change locations for it on the case. I never use lanyards but some people might 🍻

expensive pos imo. Lose a drone to water you aint getting back no matter what the drones capabilities. id rather risk a DJI at a third of the cost.
Technically if its got fishin line tethering it the faa cant whine about it...tethered drone laws r non existent bc it becomes not a drone lol.
When you Taunt Dustin , about a Range Test , it takes longer , stop it , he will do it soon enough !!!

This is mainly made for heavy drops but perhaps they'll have different cam options for it also 🍻
I love mine. I've had no issues. This isn't a "photography" drone, it's primarily meant to lift heavy baits. The two releases are important with fish finding rigs. This is an all weather, -0- visibility - nighttime drone that can be completely automated. When programmed and the bait is attached, you can simply slide the "launch" and confirm. The drone will take off, fly to the programmed position, release the bait, return to home, land and lock. I can't think of anything else SwellPro could do.
Good luck in attaching 2 separate payloads of dangling fishing line, weights, and bait - Dustin - you should test this and post the video.

@@DustinDunnill Good morning, My budget is around 350$. I'm open for drones out of DJI's list the main thing im looking for is the range and the camera, I do not care about intelligent feautures at all, Also I do not need 4k video camera, 2.7k will be fine.
If I was in your position I'd likely find a legit deal on a DJI Mini 3 standard (without the Obstacle avoidance) at eBay. Just make sure it's not damaged and comes with remote. You may even find a new one for around that price. You might need to spend a little more like around $400 but it's worth it.🍻

just a word about the automated functions... they're cool just like Litchi is cool... but if something goes wrong you're screwed. After eight years flying drones including over 200 fishing drops I highly recommend manual control at all times and don't use RTH unless an emergency. These Swellpro products are great (apart from the insane price) until they aren't. They seem to glitch a lot more than DJI products. I fly both brands almost daily.

Keep SwellPro drones sealed correctly, clean, rinsed, maintained, batteries half charged when not in use and they will last. If you need the lift strength and waterproofness...this one is solid 🍻

Perfect example of what not to do Even if it’s waterproof or not, you don’t want to dunk it in water because even though it’s waterproof, dunking it in a clean water bath like you you showed will get water inside the contacts where the propellers sit and you do not want water sitting in there because the water overtime will make the metal rust do you get this the water off? Yes rub off the shelf water or just gently clean it with fresh water.😂😂
Lol...did you even watch the video? You only want to do this to clear out salt & salt water which was stated. I think we both know it will destroy electronics more than freshwater. If you did not know this, you learned something today 🍻

Mini 4 pro better.
You are talking apples to oranges. Put 6Lbs on a Mini 4 and get it to fly. Advantage in Waypoint by setting to a longitude latitude coordinate. Mini 4 can't. This IS NOT a photo drone. It is designed for a specificate function. I have the Mini 4, Mavic 3, and old Phantom 4 pro. That can't do what this was designed for.
I can see the advantages to this drone that many people would want.
Land any DJI in water or fly in heavy rain, see how long it stays up or functions after being submerged in water.
Not for fishing
Can't compare this one which is flying during rainy and mini4 pro 😁
