I dont think they ever film in order it comes in the movie but by location. I'm assuming interior shots are easier to film vs. cool exterior shots with historical things in the background such as the dragon pit, it probably wasn't the last scene filmed but I bet the council scenes were shot last last.

These actors and the crew as well deserved so much more than this season. I can't believe it is ending like this. But i thank you all for the years of dedication to this epic saga. I think more people should watch the documentary they made about season 8 behind the scenes. So so so much work went into season 8 and even though people were disappointed with it and stuff I feel like it isn't getting enough credit. Like they had 11 weeks of night shoots and that is both physically and emotionally draining and then to see as an actor or crew member that people didn't like the last season must be really disappointing.

There’s a theory that says that female walker was once the lord commanders great love. I thought it would be awesome for them to repeat history/give a nod to a great theory
