I'm a Mlysian living & working in SG & there's quite a number of Bezza & Myvi here deep down kinda "bangga" seeing Sgporean driving them so yah if its value for money cheaper than the usual Japan or European brand Sgporean will buy it.
@@amerasyraf9241 tapi kan kenapa eh harga perodua lagi mahal kat malaysia?mahal nya tu satu kali ganda dari malaysia sdgkn duit sg lagi mahal dari ringgit. Aku igtkn lagi murah la drpd malaysia 😅
There is also the voice command system "Hi Proton" Yes, bring this car to SG, we need a good value MPV here plus readily available road side assistance and servicing in Malaysia!
Hahaha. Interesting collaboration between the two nations. Nice review. When Proton launches this X90 in Msia, I thought is a very good value for money for the size and space for what it has to offer. But SG with recent years high COE and still crowded traffic, it's really dampening the dream of owning a car.
Proton promised car play and android auto for a long while. But have to say it’s not a big miss. If you use a MagSafe charger, just set your phone landscape and you have a very car play like experience. Saw the s70 the other day near braddel. It does look a bit smaller than the civic class (c segment), but man for the price of a city/vios in Malaysia, 1.5t with sunroof and the tail light dance, do look a bit more premium. But for rm20k more you get this, a giant SUV, 4.8m is santa fe and sorento size. Just a smidge smaller than x5 and xc90. 1.5t mild hybrid by Malaysian standard is not high power, their standard civics and altis are 1.8l, but 8.9s to 100 is very decent. Mileage pretty good too. Probably matching cat a civic with detuned 1.5t 130bhp. Malaysians are lucky, for a 50k sgd car they get a really good family car, seats 7 decent, very acceptable performant. With jazz and civics being like 170-185k sgd, the gap has never been wider. But Malaysian are spoilt, they find Chinese brands offer better value. We can only afford freed, a small 7 seater 1.5e:hev at 177k.
Why not sell in Singapore? If you able to sell around S$160K region, sure got buyers. Proton now under Geely Group who also owns Volvo, SIngapore drivers can see the transformation over the years and will consider to buy.
Perodua had a hard time selling their cars at $60-70k range just 3-4 years ago. What makes you think it’s viable for Proton at $160k? Top up a bit can get second-hand conti. 😂😂
Sy punya x90 nant aku rasa baru 3 minggu kot dh ngan aku,dh ada problem dgn torsional vibration damper .yg mlekat dkt crankshaft tu.then auto/start engine problem.dua kali dh bila start/stop engine ni activated, ada bunyi mcm kita tukar gear manual tp tanpa tekan clutch.belum smpai sbulan boss ku.entah mcm mana boleh lepas QC.kalau nak cakap psal boleh repair, smua kreta pun boleh repair kalau rosak tp kalau kreta belum smpai sbulan pun nak kena repair benda yg diaorang terlepas QC mmg kepala butoh la sikit.SA janji tu ni bg product bgus.Dh la millage masa trima dh 50km konon nya x90 ni go tru bnyak test before deliver to customer.jgn2 diaorang dh bawa sana sni pakai roadshow

That gear shifting from R to D is similar to Volvo XC40; need a little bit of getting used to.
Why is sgcarmart reviewing protons? It's very unlikely that the proton cars will be sold in Singapore.
Because they can 😂
Possibly to help proton do market testing and see if it's feasible to make a return to sg
