Holy shit. I clicked on this video thinking it was going to be a homemade proto, like just putting the Subaru drivetrain and suspension under a different car, but I sure as hell did not expect this. This was absolutely awesome. I will be watching the rest of the build later!
This is incredible. I was expecting maybe a body kit and some cosmetics to make it look like the thumbnail. Not this absolute masterpiece. The fact you're doing it on the roadside/your garden makes it doubly impressive. Will 💯 percent be following this build
Saw you and the cat at Llandow a couple of months back, so glad i checked the channel out the amount of time and effort put into this is incredible, awesome build!
Dude Holy shit!!!! This deserves a remake with a voice over, explaining the thought process behind this masterpiece and maybe describing the biggest challenges you faced. This will make it even greater for us mere mortals
@@zikamano4847 yeah Im from Brazil as well. I have 2 subarus and they're both REALLY unreliable, that's what I meant. Lol. If @ederepic thinks this subaru-powered peugeot is reliable he's mental
Abslolutely Insane! I genuinely wonder how do you keep track of all the things to do... Had to change just the front of a 206 once (mostly cosmetic + the radiator) and it was a madness for me. Mad respect!
Jeez! I thought you will make images of cars then turn them into rally cars, but damn! It's even more impressive making an *ACTUAL* rally car! Congratulations bro!
I must admit when I clicked on this vid I thought the odds are slim this wasn't another clickbait and someone actually built a legit rally car. Holy cow, that was impressive
I just stumbled upon this video on my random walks on youtube, i was intrigued by it and loved it all, clearly you know your way around fabricating, even the styling has both modern and old school rally style, begs the question, you worked in the rally industry before or one day you just woke up and chose violence?
Disgustingly insane of a build… so well done… I am 22 and just started building cars not long ago after graduating with a mechanical engineering degree. We founded a company that specializes in doing EV conversion to classic cars. First car we did was a Bentley Turbo R which is a pain in the ass as it is, and a nightmare to beginners (still recovering from the trauma) Sometimes it really gets overwhelming when building a huge size project like this… any advice? I have
What the f*ck? I was expecting a diecast model something, like those Hotwheels customisation videos. Was not expecting some amazingly talented chaps to genuinely build an AMAZING car
Just stumbled across this video and fucking hell it’s amazing!!! I dread to think the hours you’ve put in to this with all the RnD, trial and errors etc!! Fair play dude, fair fkn play ❤
thats a pretty huge work, very nice :) i like both - Impreza and 206 appreciate your time, everything what have you done with cars, does it race? have any success?
self mix plaster board filler for the bulk, then car body filler! Go to ep28.5 of the build and I explain it all. Use upol easy sand filler and dont get the green filler that you find in halfords! you will be sanding for years!
Now that's a proper youtube car build. Not like those kids who call their car "a dope build" after slapping on wheels and wrap over the weekend. Also 2 small things. The roll cage should be tied together with rear suspension subframe, not just trunk floor. Also rear diffuser should be accompanied with flat undercarriage panel to function properly.
Yes the clean re-built engine went in. As the Peugaru is a proto race car and not a show car I did not see the point of spending more time making the gearbox like new. I did brush the dirt off it though:)
its such a beautiful video to watch bro but i have a question how much parts did you end up selling from both of the cars and ended up putting all that made up money back into the project
I sold most of the body panels and lights from the Subaru, also the full interior. kept all of the mechanicals from the Subaru. Sold the wheels from the Peugeot and scrapped the rest. I cannot remember how much money I made back, maybe 800 - 1000 £

It looks better than Audi R8 😂😂😂
I was expecting a model build when I clicked 😮
@@ScuderiaBlendLine I love the car, great work! Do you have instagram os somewhere to get pictures of the car, i would like to draw it

genuinely impressed of the work over the past 2 years, its mad how good it looks !
Thanks Ewan, would have been nice to do things to a higher standard with more budget. One day ay
The crew who built these cars are the true masterclass.
These old WRC cars are still going strong.
I still can’t believe he did this in 26 min
I thought it was 2 months long.
I'm more impressed you did it all out on the road 😆 🤣 😂
Work with that you got!

Wow a Subaru 206 great work
To tell you the truth we all imagine making something like this , you did it in real life 😮
Sketching on the back of your maths books type stuff :)
I think it supposed to be 206 Toyota.
This Build was absolutely amazing to watch the car came out perfectly
Glad you liked it!

Glad you like the car. I hope to take the car back soon with any luck!
This metal work all the time makes me jealous . They can built everything they want. Insane 🎉

These 2 WRC cars built from other prototypes is just AMAZING!
The amount of work done is absoluely imprssive!

This Peugeot with "Subaru Inside" is the most trustable Peugeot ever haha. Amazing work

I have never seen that show, they sound like two stand up gentlemen!

Awesome build! Have been following along a bit because I wanted to put a ej25 in my 206 and my conclusing is: I cant do it. Enjoy the car
With enough time and effort I am sure you could. Wait to see how this one drives like and then decide!

My advise would be, only do projects you really love. Hard to do though, especially if you build for other people. What is your advise?

The very usefull thing at this built is that rollcages, forget mixmatch chassis and body 2 scrap cars, its definitely hard work paid
