The point of the relay is to use low voltage signals in order to control a circuit. This could be either for safety or because it's easier to use that low voltage signal, like in the case of a computer controlled circuit. People saying "just use a switch" are missing the point and taking the example literally.
Facts. Relays are really useful for PLC programming such as when you need it for normally closed or normally open operations. People that say “just use a switch” don’t see the point that you would have to physically flip the switch for the operations but Relays allows you to connect it to a PLC for automatic purposes.
Demonstration. Relays are primarily used for automation purposes. In a more complex system would you rather have a person take 20 minutes to turn on 10 switches to complete on objective or have a computer do the same thing immediately and speed things up? Choice is simple.

It also save a lot of bigger expensive cable if you just want to control the device remotely
This is one of the best vids I've seen on how a relay works
What is the use of adding this relay?
Wow
I need an opposite working relay. The one when it gets 9V signal, cuts the power to the lamp. What type of relay is that?
NC (normally closed) relay
What is the use of relay here ??

Sir hindi me bhi smjha dijiye,🙏
2 way connection reley
Mcb hai ya Isolator?
Just use a switch?
Nope.. Full video will be uploaded soon Subscribe to get the notification ☺️❤️
Basically it's for protection of circuit.
Relay are made to control things wirelessly, for example if you want to control this light with esp32 definitely you need a relay to do this.
It does not made for no purpose, research before judging.
Wasting two switches for damn a bulb🤪
Wish it was in English 😭
Trust me bro you don't want to listen this "Lewin level" explaination...
LEGENDS use switch 🤣🤣
