I think you may be the best alternative rock band in a very long time. Growing up in the 90s, there’s a certain vibe or emotion that can’t be replicated. You girls have that swagger about you

I was gonna say the same about the 90s. Got a very "Jane Siberry and /or Medicine from The Crow soundtrack" feel. Just found these two, and that's the 1st thing that came to mind. It's a vibe for sure. And it's been missing for a while. Fitting that movie is about to be redone.

I think it's much harder than people realise, to keep writing and releasing song after song which all sound distinct, but which have enough of a "flavour" to be instantly recognisable as a Softcult song. To keep giving people what they want, without them getting bored of it. I have yet to be even slightly disappointed.

It's amazing how Softcult manages to change the style of performance from song to song, this track turned out to be especially melancholic and sensitive, I definitely want to follow the work of this group further.

Beautiful track! As someone who loves 80's dream pop (Cocteau Twins) and shoegaze, Softcult is a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to see you all in Nashville. Why you are not bigger is beyond me. Great songs and one of the best new bands I have discovered in a very long time. The ambient sounds on the production is great as well

I can't count how many times I played this song on TH-cam and Bandcamp within the last 24 hours. I absolutely love this song and I am enjoying discovering Softcult's music more and more each day. I finally bought the album in Bandcamp (which I normally don't 'coz I prefer having a physical copy) earlier. I hope they play this song at their Manila show on May 7!

The way this song flows and builds upwards into that amazing bridge is just incredible songwriting. You know a song is special if you get goosebumps the first time you hear it. There are couplets here that remind me of my own poetry. This song hits me on a deep personal level.

Almost wore my softcult, long sleeve to Rubblebucket show last night,
I'm wearing my Mo Lowda and the Humble band t TONIGHT that I bought the same night at Rubblebucket, which was SOLD OUT so I waited outside the venue down the street in hopes one of the band members would come out AND maybe, sell me a tour t, and he did. Tonight I dropped off Vegan food for my new friend LILY from Cincinnati YESTERDAY, that I met at an event THE COOLEST PERSON of June 8 2024
Another beautiful song. It reminds me a whole lot like you might have listened to a little Aaron Marsh/Copeland and leaned into an influence like that. Which I love. He and Copeland are brilliant.
